Heads up! Dark Knight Klaus, the new centaur boy from the MNF Fairyline just went live on DDE. Like with sircca and Lucywen, the complete and full options have an elf eared gift head, and it looks like tan skin is being offered
Also his tail is the clear brown resin so I for one am hYPED

 

He looks amazing! I love his vampire face. I'm really tempted by the non-centaur version. But I think it's time to refrain... for now. Can't wait to see what everyone does with theirs though.

Here are my minifees minus two lacking face-ups. Love them so much! I'm happy every time I see them.


I think I need to redress Honoka though. I love her outfit (so cheery) but, I want to see her in something different.

Another Fairyline update: the Sircca horse body is back up for order on DDE as well (presumably fairyland site later?). The description seems like they’re going to include waist adapters for both female Fairyline and male motionline, but I’m still trying to clarify with the staff to confirm

Violet is really liking the new boy, Klaus. I'm super tempted since I can't say no to vampire fangs, plus most of my characters are vampires, they just don't have visible fangs. I'm hoping he will be put in the ala carte later. Otherwise I'll have to snap him up ASAP.

 

I've been thinking about the new boy, but the character I'd be using him for isn't a vampire. How difficult is it to remove fangs from a sculpt?

 

I think there's actually a Human head option for this release. You might not need to mod him at all.

 

That sure would be nice! I'll have to go look.

EDIT: Looking at DDE, there is indeed a human option! I hope they keep it when it goes to A La Carte.

 

I have kind of a dumb question, I cant find the answer anywhere though.

So fairyline heads that were previously released during events with slots in the head for magnets
if you bought one a la carte, would the head have the holes inside the head to glue a magnet?

Specifically thinking Lucywen and a spot for a mag-on horn - I'm thinking of getting one on the motion line body and would still like her to have a horn!

 

I'm pretty sure all the newer sculpts have the magnets already in their heads. I don't have a Lucywen, so I can't say for sure if she has the center magnet or not.

I have a Tan Lucywen and she has a center magnet, got her a custom unicorn from Etsy made and it fits her perfectly!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how significant a size difference there is between the non-muscular A-line boy body and the Motion Line boy body? I'm thinking of swapping the former for the latter, but I would hate to have to get all new shoes (hard enough to find as is) and clothing. Is the head and connection an easy swap or do they make the heads smaller for Motion Line?

 

I really like Klaus, but how much longer do I have to wait until he becomes available on the A LA Carte?

 

The head connection on MNF heads is the same across the board, and theoretically speaking all heads should fit all bodies. There's one or two exceptions when it comes to the Fairyline bodies, but that's it. As for the size difference, feet shouldn't be a problem, but the Motion Line body is slimmer than the A-line. If any of the clothes for your Motion body fit particularly snugly, they might not fit the A-line, particularly in the hip department. A-line had a bit more junk in the proverbial trunk, lol. That said, the difference isn't huge or anything. My A-line, Motion-line, and Moe-line boys all share clothes fine, some of it's just a bit looser on the skinny boys, lol, especially the pants.
I did a comparison of the three bodies, actually, if that would help.

Also, hot damn, I friggin Loooooove Klaus. I've been really wanting one of the centaurs... *sweats*

I keep looking around, hoping I'll see owner pics of Iru! I hope they start flooding in soon. ☆ Super excited, though mine is still a few months out.

 

Iru is going to be my first fairyland doll so I'm excited. I also joined a split for the Klaus human head, no funds for a body right now. Would it fit on a MNF body or does it need to be Fairyline?

 

I'm so jealous! I haven't gotten my Iru and I'm super interested in Klaus. I bet he'd look soo pretty next to Iru.

 

Yes, Klaus will fit on the MNF body.

 

Well... I broke down and got the Klaus full set because I'm weak and that gothic armor horse boy is just so far up my aesthetic I should probably see a doctor *sighs*
I blame DDE and their layaway options 8'D Decided on the Natural Skin for the human half and White for the horse; thought'd it'd make for a nice contrast with the armor (that I'm gonna have to paint).

I also got normal skin Klaus and the white centaur body! I sold Klaus's head and clothes and plan on putting Iru on the armored centaur body. I wanted him to be some gentle mori knight. I'm absolutely obsessed with knights and lances and I hope I can manage to get those skulls off him to make him just as I see him in my head. Still playing around with ideas. This will be my first Fairyland boy and I'm pretty excited.

 

I am really interested to see that! He's gonna be so pretty!!


I stupidly sat here trying to tell myself I didn't need Klaus. ("You have other bills"/"You still need to pay off Iru"/"Iru hasn't even shipped yet!") Then I went and though "You know what would be a good name for my Klaus? Noxx..... Dang it!"

I will wait. If he's still up for order, not this payday but next, then I'll place my order.

My girl finally has the perfect eyes for her Still need to finish her wig ( she will be blonde ) and then she will be close to being complete! She is kind of my representation of summer

It's so exciting to see some of the Honokas are arriving to people's houses. She looks super cute and it's tempting me to order one.

This is kind of a weird question, but I ran across a post about a smokey quartz minifee shiwoo that came out years ago. I understand it was Luts, not FL, but the talk about him was on the MNF thread. I also understand there were only five worldwide, but that all but one purchaser was on DoA. But I can't find pix of him anywhere. Everyone talks about the amazing eyes and outfit...

So...question is, does anyone here know where I could find a pic of him?

Shushus are beautiful. I still remember when the MNF Shushu Elf first came out. She was exactly what I was looking for at the time. I love them.

As far as I know the 5 were left overs (or the start of a release) from when Luts and CP had their first split - i.e. when Luts stopped selling Minifees. The Smoky Quartz is the same colour as the other Tanning releases which included limited runs of Lishe, El and DES. Here's a shot of my friend's Smoky Quartz:

 

Ah! One of the lucky five! He is quite lovely. I like this shot better, actually, than the official ones. The Shiwoo face is so inherently sweet and honest the official photos seem to be trying to make him...I dunno. Something else. Not a straight-on glance in the lot. Haven't found the right adjective, yet, but it didn't feel right.

Thanks so much! And such a lovely bunch of Shiwoos all in one spot. My favorite sculpt w/o question, with, curiously enough, Lishe as a close second. So the photo collection was a double treat.

 

Yup, my friend was pretty good at finding limited Shiwoos - she'd actually missed the Smoky Quartz when it first came out and got him later on, same with her Prince of Darkness, who is one in 4.
I think our sculpt obsessions are rather obvious when it comes to a photo like this, although I can only think that it's so old now... (I have more Lishes than that now, I think that may actually be half of my current collection... and I think she has more Shiwoos... maybe we need to take this photo again sometime!!)

It's definitely fast become my favorite sculpt, too, thanks to this boy. I'm in the process of moving bedroom furniture out of my studio space, so hopefully soon I'll be able to work on his mods again, and get some new photos!

 

She's home finally! I'm pleased with how she looks, but not so pleased with the process. I don't think I'll be sending anyone else out for a faceup for a while.

 

I think I finally got the look for ShuShu with her eyes and hair. Now I need to find clothing, hmmm.

 

Hello friends! I just ordered a Minifee ShuShu head on a Moe-Boy body from the A La Carte options.
But Denverdoll doesn't list the boy Moe's measurements. Only girl Moe, and girl and boy Motion/Action.
The boy and Girl Motion/Action seem to have the exact same measurements other than bust and shoulder, so are the Moe boy and girl measurements the same as well?
I need to know because this boy will actually be wearing primarily female clothing so I need to know what will and wont fit him. I also can't seem to find the measurement of his feet. I ordered him the Moe heel feet so those shoes wont be a problem, but I'm not sure how long his flat feet are.

I don't have a Moe boy, but I have Moe girls, and my friend @Zavrinas has the Moe boy and I can say with certainty that the measurements are vastly different. The Moe boy is quite a bit taller than the Moe girl.

 

Taller isn't really an issue for me. I'm mostly worried about the hip/shoulder/feet measurements.
Has your friend measured their Moe boy?
