Which hands do you find to be very useful for different poses and/or do you find you get the most use out of? Which numbers provide diversity?
Annnnd...if I wanted to have two MNFs in a dancing pose, which hands should they wear?

Erratic Rhapsody- One of my girls has mismatched hands and I just love the combination! They are right hand #4 and left hand six#6. She can hold a cookie and it looks cute for holding back bangs or holding onto a pocket or hat. For dancing, I think that #3 girl hands are good for holding hands with another doll, thats what my other girl uses, and if the partner has the #5 boy hands that should work. But those are just what I have.

Thanks for the notes! :3 I think I ordered some #4 and #3 hands in tan with my last order so that's good. ^^ I also got #8 I was thinking about getting #5 this round annnd #1 since 1 is kind of just like normal not doing anything hands. But I have one more pair I was thinking about. Maybe #7 but...not sure.

My Celine got her new wa-loli kimono today from Keely's Cute Kimono! I just adored this on her shop and had to have it. It is simply beautiful, and photos don't do it justice.

Quick Request for Celine owners out there- I'm planning on ordering a pair of Makoeyes for my girl soon, and wasn't sure if I should get the 16 or 14mm- Can you all be wonderful and give me some comparisons of your lovely girls with each size?

 

On the note about customs fees. If the charge is to be less than £9 on Customs Duty it's waived, but VAT isn't. So you can get something charged at like £3 for VAT and then depending on how it was posted have a fee on top. £8 for First Class and Priority and £13.50 for EMS. It's ridiculous really.

I hate customs because they seem to read $ as £ and charge based on that. Then when you try and argue it they ignore all correspondence. :\

And it looks like my Celine will be backed into the next order. I was going to get her in this order and order my Arya's (Miyu) head in the next (since I want to get her blank now and customize her how she's meant to look), but it makes more sense to order her with the body she's going to get (M-Line) and get my Celine head later on, since otherwise I'd have the body before the head. It's gonna be hard though with all this gorgeous Celine spam!

 

She's not home yet but I just got the finished photo of my mnf Luka, Casper I can't wait till shes home~

It is the charges on top that annoy me as well because except on dolls, they are higher then the actual tax! I find that they are very good at reading $ at £ as well, and your like no they are very different!

 

I've been lurking the threads. My next addition will be a minifee so of course, I have to look at your pretty photos... I'm wondering, is it easier to not look at mnfs or look at mnfs while I'm saving one? LOL

Speaking of... I just ordered my tan M-Line Ante! Eeek, I wasn't going to get her and then at the last minute, I buckled xD My boyfriend decided I had to have her, because if I don't like her, he'll adopt her xD!

In my country I have no idea how the customs work. Sometimes they charge you and sometimes they don't. I've been charged for a wig before, but not for my Dollshe Hound. It is very odd!

I put an M-line body on layaway! I'm so excited! She's going to be for my Unoa Lusis who's currently on a too-big-body. But to celebrate here's some spam of my minifee boys (Benjamin has swapped bodies with another of my boys so he's on a Resinsoul body. But I think it suits his elf character )

 

I second the question about Mako Eye size, for the Rheia I'll hopefully buy and also for the maybe-one-day-in-the-future- Celine ^^

Also, does anyone know how quickly Fairyland responds to emails, usually? With the many orders they're getting now I think they'll take longer, but I still hope it won't be too late to order before the 30th.

bearpicnic that's a cute picture of Harley and Crow. I just love those two - and for much more than their good looks.

You should try and call customs on the phone. Then at least they won't be able to ignore you. I once got some leggings and it was 20$ but then I had to pay VAT + a handling fee so I paied 33$ to get it.

Luckely most small parcels are ignored especially if they aren't insured. Dolls however always get charged. My 900$ Fairyland order cost just over 300$ to pick up.

Btw, Ariadne is actually coupled with my JID Kyle (Damon), but Nuriel is her guard and is made to take care of her by his boss, and of course he develops feelings for her while doing that job. I sort of based Ariadne's look off of my own, I have pale skin, blue eyes, and dark hair so that's why she's that way. My skin of course has a bit more pink tones than the FL WS though haha. SOoo..if her body was blushed it'd be a bit more like mine

nonaly, I have a modded Rheia (from a SP) and use a 12mm in her. I imagine that a 14mm could work or a 12 in the regular heads depending on the shape of the eye and brand etc.

I'm getting 12mm for my girl... but it's going to be a while before she gets here I tend to prefer smaller eye sizes in my dolls though for a slightly more mature look.

 

Dustbunnie, the real trick to one of those photos is to take a pic where half of the face is covered with flyaways!

Also, I really wish the Moe body had a hip joint...I'd be all over it then... but if I read the measurements correctly on the comparison between the female a-line body and the moe body, the torsos may be interchangeable.

 

I just ordered my girl through DDE. I went with Celine, I'll get Rix in NS one day, but I didn't want to take any chances.
Now the wait begins.

Yessss. The hipbones are wonderful. I think it will be much more attractive than the A-line in undies and low rise pants.
I also received my Siean back from Eludys today . I adore her but she won't be getting too spoiled until I finish another payment on Celine.

wauw, what beautifull dolls everyone has! and I am so jealouse of anyone who has ordered a moe-line doll. I really want to order a moe-line luka, but I dont't have the funds right now with my going to college and all.. or so I keep telling myself.. I know I only have a two days do decide, but.. just in case.. can anyone provide me with a comparison of 12mm and 14mm eyes for Luka?

 

So glad I don't have the money now... my tastes are changing everyday to which I should get. And then I'm thinking maybe I *could* get two and then, do I want two the same sculpt or two similar sculpts or two completely different ones? *falls in a heap*

 

HAHAha oh how I feel your pain. I am waiting for my mirwen to come and I caved and bought a merwin floating head with a custom faceup recently. I have a feeling I may end up keeping them both. I have a Ryeon on a M line body on order, but I have kind of fallen out of love with that sculpt and plan to give her body to my new Merwin head...I think ...maybe.

 

Pianogirl Yep, though probably going to stick with my plan for girl Karsh if only save myself from trying to hunt down a WS Yder. I have the money, but keep waiting to see if FL does a summer event. I got my mnf shiwoo back when they were still sold through Luts and ordered 5 days before they announce their nanuri event. Learned my lesson then, wait for events to order dolls.
