Celebratory Fi-spam! I'm starting to get really excited, my first pay period just ended and my first paycheck should come in a few days, and its going to take a huge bite out of the money I still need to save for Fionha's man-friend. Granted, I also need to save up for his clothes, but that can come later, after I've ordered him. ^^

Silvermasques, hmm that's tricky, how long has he been doing that? I don't know what could be causing it. Perhaps some of his elastic has gotten twisted and is yanking him to one side? Wish I had more to offer you. Hopefully someone will come along with a solution soon.

 

silvermasques- Oh my... it looks like his elastic is all uneven, especially if he's only just started it. One of my guys had a similar sudden refusal to straighten his leg issue. All I can think of suggesting is to hold the top of hios torso and his hips and pull the elastic as tight as you can, then set him back... hoepfully it re adjusts the elastic?

 

silvermasques - that looks like the tilt that LillyKitten's Adriel has... My chic-line also has that kind of tilt - I think its something to do with the stringing, Adriel is really loose, so he does pretty much anything and will still stand.

hmmm While pulling him I didn't feel any unusual tensions he seems pretty even, He also just kinda seems gappy in a couple spots.. I'm wondering if some Selective sueding would fix the lean, since i don't have the strength to restring on my own until my wrist gets fixed x-x or maybe he's just wonky? ;-; Idk.. I knew he'd flop his chest piece a little since I got him but not this bad x-x and the lean.. Ugh!

the tug may have helped a little but he's still sideways LOL. hmn.. at least he's not kicking while I fiddle with his naked Resin bum

 

Hey guys I wanted to pop in here since I had noticed a few threads around the board about the newer minifees having some gaping between their head hole and the neck piece and wanted to say that I just got my Rheia in yesterday night and also to my dismay have discovered the problem for myself. My roomie has a mnf from 3 to 4 years ago and his head fits his piece like a glove, and I've seen many people responding that theirs does fit correctly from older dolls.

Also I wanted to post that I have found a quick and easy way to solve the problem other than contacting fairyland and probably sending a doll back and forth a few times and wanted to share it.

My solution was to put a fine thin layer of hot glue in the very rim of the neck hole on both her OE and SE head and found this to work like a charm! With the newly fitting head the locking part doesn't come undone as easily as it had before also. A bonus too is that if you mess up with the hot glue its easily just peeled back off to try again! It's not something you can see with her head on either.

I really hope this will help some people :<

Going back to what someone was saying about Gaping around the neck on minfees, I think it can actually be pretty good myself. I guess it depends on WHERE it is. If there's not some space at the back of the neck hole against the neck, i find that dolls can't look up as much as ones that do.

No I totally agree! I prefer this myself and head range of motion is a top priority on my list. But what I'm speaking of doesn't really control that since the neck piece does that instead. What I mean is the neck piece and the head hole don't fit together. What you get is a rattly head and a head that randomly pops off because it turns the locking mechanism inside the head because of the wobble....does that make since? *panic panic* I've been catching bits and pieces of off hand comments people have been complaining about it in their Minifees, anyone know whats going on? Older minifees don't seem to have the problem. It seems recent to me. :/

Look around in dollar stores at hair accessories, you might be able to find some, too!

 

Isaiah seems to be behaving a little better today (YAY), but I'm not quite trusting him yet ^^;

Photo taken during dollie meet in Cracow by one of my friends - I borrowed body to see how would she look all dressed up - fortunately the body I ordered will have bigger breasts, so the outfit might fit better - it's slightly too big, especially on the chest part...

Just want to introduce my girl, Kayou, a Miyu, now that both her heads have face-ups. I know the face-ups aren't the best, but they're decent, and will do through winter, until I can re-do them in the Spring. ^-^

 

Napria: I don't know about warrior clothes, but for more regular stuff, Cupcake Guppy Kisses on Etsy is awesome :3 I have a pair of leggings and a couple of shirts from there. I also think that leggings, tights and such from Dollmore should fit - but I'll get back to y'all with a positive on that once I've ordered the leggings I want for my new boys from them. :3 I don't know about much else... my Minifee sadly doesn't have a lot of clothes right now. xD;

Aack. Guppykisses is on vacation. I like HDS (thanks Ban) but haven't found anything like what I'm looking for on Monstro. I've done countless searches on Etsy and it's kind of frustrating. Good thing I can (kind of) sew.

Wickedstitchery is very limited now. I'm going to check out Diverse Designs.

Any other suggestions?

For MonstroDesigns, do the MNF leggings fit well or are they bulky at the waist? I stumbled across them a week or so ago but was hesitant to get a pair...
