Did you check out the A-La carte? You have more options to choose. Cutie/Small/Large bust, Model/Cutie Legs. You can also hybrid a MNF Head with a body from another company.

I will have pictures later in the day as I just finished a new faceup!

 

I have enough to order the two girls I want to order, but I'm waiting on news of any sort of event from Fairyland as I would hate to order and then learn I could get free stuff. I just missed out on the event head at Luts and that was meh.

Of course, I also need to decide on the second girl's sculpt as I am currently not 100% sure. They're going to be alternate universe mature mini female versions of two SD13 male dolls.

Kim I am in the same boat as you. As there is still no news about their possible summer event perhaps they still haven't made a decision? For those who don't know, this is what they posted in a recent notice:

"Regarding FairyLand Summer Event:
A decision will be made after the holiday. "

Now that they are back from holidays, I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I've been sewing like a madwoman the past couple of days and made a jammies set for Mina; a shirt, white shorts, and panties. :B

I keep coming back to this thread even though I haven't really done anything with my breakaway yet. He's only head and Event Arms..... I still need to get him a body. But when I pull him out to look at him, he's just so cute and full of character, so I can't bear to put him up on the MP.

Well, the definite is a WS Rheia. As much as I like Woosoo, I'm doing different characters and Woosoo just doesn't work. I'm leaning towards a NS Shushu for the other. She's gotta have droopy eyes and be pretty and more spunky looking.

 

Yay~ Karshs new boots finally came~! They are a little big... but I dont think they look so bad! We're supposed to be getting some rain so it was a little dark. ^-^

 

I got good news today, house is closing tomorrow, All I can think is "I'll be able to unpack my dolls!"

I too am waiting for news of a possible event to order my Miyu. I keep checking when the fairyland site for updates since they got back, and I'm getting impatient!

I need some cheer up spam myself now... We are getting kicked out of our apartment because the house was sold and found out last week that if possible, they need us to move out by aug 27th. Talk about short notice. Well, we found a place last week very quickly luckily and signed our new lease on Saturday. I wasn't super keen on the place because it's not as nice as this place and it's more expensive, but we went over to see it again tonight after the last tenants moved out, and it's even worse than I remember. I'm so upset that we have to move at all because I love our current apartment and now to see how much of a craphole the new place is... Sorry, I'm way OT, but I'm just really upset right now...

Just a quick question regarding FairyLand MiniFee Active Line dolls in general. For those of you who have had a FairyLand doll for a few years, has your doll/s yellowed at all? And if so, was it very noticeable or detrimental to the doll's appearance?

Thank you for the compliment. ^_^ It's made by Shinzo (who has since been MP banned ). S/he had an auction about 7 months ago and I won it. It actually came with a little mask, but I need to fix it a little.

 

His OE face will get a new faceup soon-ish too. Both of them got pretty heavily stained in the forehead by the wig. :<

As to all this talk of an event, I hope FL does one. I'm waiting for my friend to get back from her vacation so that I can order my Shushu (she's the one with the paypal) and so I hope they'll have an event going by then. I'm thinking, taking into account my paychecks and her vacation, that I'll be able to order Shushu on the 17th. I'm so excited. I simply cannot wait, but I'll kick myself if I order her and then two days later there's an event

 

Sienna - the Miyu in the picture above your post was bought second hand from the marketplace here and although I haven't had her for very long I would say she is at least one year old probably more (2008 I think) . She has yellowed, but in saying that I had no idea she had yellowed at all until I got my Chic Line doll 6 weeks ago and noticed the dolls are different colours. It is very subtle and not at all detrimental to the dolls appearance. I'm sure you can't even tell in the picture, right?
I will be getting more Minifees just as soon as I can get the money together. I can't get enough !! So hard to pick just one to come home next ^^ How to choose?

Well, Fi's new shorts came today, so that was exciting. And I'm maybe buying another cheap skirt today if all goes well, so yay! Also, new foods from my lovely clay-oriented friend, so pictures are indeed forthcoming as soon as I motivate myself to go through them. XD

AnMaNi: I love how her eyes are almost the same color as the grass! What skintone is she?

 

MaudMAryFlynn - She's WS but I think she has yellowed a bit, but to be honest I love her skintone even more now then when I got her. She has this cream tone that is absolutely gorgeous!

 

AnMaNi - wow, I never would have guess that she's WS. Her skin is quite lovely and her little dress is so cute. I really love the hat!

 

Elruesta - No she doesn't come across as white as most WS, I'm not really sure why... But I love it. Her outfit is from blinkeke and one of my favourite ones for her.

I promised to take a close up of Nohely's belly-button piercing, but kinda forgot :/
Then today I wanted to add dots to her nails and remembered, ah!
So here it is, along with a "not to good" view of her new nails...

 

AnMaNi - I'm so insanely jealous of your Aoife! She's so gorgeous and cute! You might have already been asked this earlier but where did you get her dress?! It's adorable! Fantastic job on her nails and piercing! They're so cool!

 

I too am on the same boat and never noticed Aoife is WS. But that makes me feel so much better to know my WS will age gracefully.

navci -Aoife is around 2 years now so yeah it fairylad resin really ages beautifully. It really differs with the light, how pale she looks. In this picture she looks far more fair then in the other I posted.

Gah! New thread! I thought the old one got awfully quiet, but I was too busy to really let the obvious 'click'!

I ordered Siempre five different pairs of Safrin eyes today (hard to pick eyes to go with blue skin, I figured I'd just cover all the bases!), and now I'll be hopping on one leg til they arrive!

In the meantime I'll work on her wardrobe and her little Tattoo shop.. collecting accessories to fill it now!

 

Finally got pictures uploaded and a box opening post for Michiru and her girlfriend, Kesu~ :3 they're so cute and just... amazing, even better than I'd thought. Someone assure me the MNF boys are this nice, too-

Additionally, we went out with the girls today to take them to a local doll shop that sells some American BJD stuff (Goodreau, etc.). We thought they might have some shoes that'd fit the girls -- and they did! So, protip, Goodreau shoes fit Minifees perfectly! Kesu (hakura0's Shushu s.mod) got a pair of white shoes with dogs on them, and Michi (my Ryeon) for a green pair with puptens (..we can't decide if they're kittens or puppies) XD

On the way back, we stopped at a little cafe for Italian sodas, and let the girls have at the ReMent donuts and tea set we picked up along with the shoes at the store. :3 Here's a pic:
