Clothes shoes, etc. that fit Narae and Narin? Please list!

I have both Narins and I have found that the Luts MSD shoes fit great. Also, the Tonner's Matt clothes fit the boy. I love the stretch cap wigs (they stay on) and most size 7's fit both dolls. The Tonner Kitty 18" clothes look beautiful on Narae. Some of the Franklin Mint 17" doll items fit both of them. The Mark Twain white suit looks stunning on Narin although if you put stacked shoes on him - the pants look short. The Hopscotch Hill clothes fit Narae..the waist is a bit big - but look cute on her.

Wigs~ Size 6.5 Leekeworld wigs fit my Narae and Narin perfectly, as do any 6-7 wigs from other makers. 7-8 has proven to be too large to use.

Shoes for Narae~ The shoes sold by Luts for Unoa (now for Mini Fee's) fit my Narae - a little long in the toe, but that means stockings fit under, which is nice - and she still wears them without, too. I have the purple ankle-high boots that lace over an open area in front...can't remember the name, sorry. Then the Luts for kid delf shoes - I have the brown and pink tassel straps - they fit her perfectly. Teen Trends shoes fit - I especially like the silver ones that come with the light blue dress - I cut off the ankle straps and use them for everything for her. Because they're rubbery, they stick nicely against smooth surfaces, making standing poses very stable. The boot shoes from Teen Trends need to be cut up the back, from what I hear, and can be difficult to get off, due to sticking. I'm not sure if a little talcum powder might help that, but I will be trying it.

Clothes for Narae~ Teen Tends clothes (tops and dresses) fit nicely, except the pants. I espcially like the light blue dressy dress...it's so pretty on her, and fits like a dream. The bathrobe set is adorable - but I haven't tried it on yet. So cute, though! Friends2BMade (Build A Bear line) clothes fit, again except for most of the pants. I did find capri length pants from their line that fit, but all the jeans I tried do not. The tops and skirts fit - the skirts can be too large, but pinning or adding snaps can take care of that problem. Most Tonner (Tyler line/Brenda Starr) and Gene tops (with armholes large enough for her hands) fit really well - very pretty on her. I also have used dresses from both lines. The lilac nightgown set fits perfectly. I also have a lovely nightgown and robe from the 18 inch Kitty line (Tonner) that fits loosely - I pin it tighter and will eventually move the straps, when I find my pale yellow thread! Franklin Mint - some fit nicely - most notably the riding outfit for the Elven Princess, Laurel. Fits like a dream (pants do not snap in back). I've ordered a Mini Fee outfit from Luts, which hopefully will come in a week or so, and I'll let you know if that fits. Their measurements don't match up exactly, and the waist is off, which always causes problems, but we'll see. I've also ordered Unoa-sized jeans from Cheery Doll, and I'll let you know how they fit. They should fit fine.

Shoes and clothes for Narin~ Matt (Tonner) shoes fit him. Matt clothes fit him perfectly. I assume Basil St.John clothes (the Brenda Starr line, from Effanbee/Tonner) will fit too. Trent (Ashton Drake Gene line) shirts and sweaters fit. I haven't tried Trents pants yet.

That's all I can think of for now! I'll add more as it comes to me... I'm really looking forward to seeing everyones Naraes and Narins!!

 

I have a knit sweater from eBay made to fit Tonner, and it fits great~! You can see her body blusing under it tho A handmade skirt came with it too, and it's pretty tight. But she's wearing her undies under it, so that could be a factor ^_^;; Panty line~ MSD wigs from Dollheart do NOT fit, but I like it anyways ^_^;;

 

Be careful of some of the shoes and clothes from Teen Trends..thay can stain the doll. At least when I pulled pants and shoes off one of the Teen Trend dolls it had stained the TT doll. Perhaps it would not stain the higher quality of Narin Co dolls? I also find the shoes too tight on my Narae.
The luts shoes Kid Delf fit great and so many styels. They are a great company to purchase from. Also, I have ordered from happy doll..the Scottish outfit..looks super on both dolls ant the shoes are to die for!

 

Teen Trends are vinyl dolls; vinyl stains more easily than resin.

I'd still wash any dark colored clothing before my doll wore it for a month, but I'm rather paranoid.

Hey everyone, I tried my custom made Sharmin clothes on my 43cm Narae.
Most of the outfits I have are very fitted on Sharmin and...I'm sorry to say they do not fit Narae. I think the loose fitting clothes would fit. Narae's chest is just a little bit bigger than Sharmins and her hips are too.

Just wanted to let you guys know I bought the Elin set for mini fee and the dress will not zip all the way up. I still think it looks cute on Vasti but I wouldn't show the back.

groovy girl stuff fits, the tops do most of the time, the pants are a bit short but sometimes look alright.
I'm not sure about the skirts, I'm guessing since Narae is slim that the skirts would fit, but I wouldn't spend money on it yet until someone tries it, I probably will soon.

Groovy girl clothes- some things fit, the tops fit but are really tight and show a bit too much in the nipple area.I have one dress that fits and one thats too tight.

Friends2bmade-everything I've gotten fromthem fits great! and it's super cheap! an outfit is like 10 bucks

oh and 14inch Madame alexander doll clothes will fit narae. I've found some great fairy dresses this way. Some time soon I'll get around to taking pics of my narae in different clothes.

the matt o'neil clothes might fit... but they're just so corny looking... i hate to say. he dresses like a realtor.

i ordered an MSD sized outfit from dollmore.com at tanya's suggestion. their clothes are a bit more reasonably priced than some of the other places and since Narin's a boy he can get away with a baggier look (the top i got is actually intended for girls so it might have a slimmer fit?).

you'll see how it looks when he arrives... whenever he arrives.

Carolyn the petite ai size hats should fit Narae/Narin since they wear the same size wig. Cheerydoll has hats in petite ai size.

1. Re Narae wearing Yo-SD - it's hard to imagine - Narae is more than 1 1/2 times Yo's size in height. Maybe some isolated pieces would fit - you can compare the measurements:

Madame Alexander's Alex is a tiny bit smaller than Tyler so unless its very stretchy i doubt it...I have a few pieces of older Alex clothing and they dont fit at all...

Tyler is 19-11-17.5
Alex is 17.5-11-18
Narae is 17-13.2-19

So I guess it may work as well as Tyler stuff though I am still not exactly sure what does and doesn't fit of Tyler's. ost of what I have seen working well are made of stetch fabrics.

Alex's underwear - the stretchy ones - fit Narae. They're nice because they have a bit of lace edging at the waist. A couple sweaters fit, but little else. A lot of the Tyler clothing - tops, some dresses, nightgowns, fit, but not pants and not skirts, for the most part. Early Emme outfits fit - the pants very nicely, the tops a little loosely.

 

inseam is 7&7/8, waist is 7 &1/2, hip is almost exactly 8 inches. I can't speak as to whether they would fit narin or not - I think perhaps not, since he doesn't have the curve of hip that a girl does.

I can say that I intend on getting a Narin possibly this summer, and I will be moving into designing and sewing boy's clothing at that time.

I know someone posted that the F2BM clothes fit Narea. But I was wondering how the sleeves fit. On some of the items it looks like the sleeves would be too short?

FOOT SIZE

I hadn't been following this thread, but Laurmann2000 pm'd me, so I thought I would answer for everyone based on my dolls.

Narin and Narae have the same size feet. The Limhwas have the same size feet as the Narins, too. The measurement is 5.5cm long by 2.0 wide.

I measured my Hewitt, MSD, and his foot is the same length, but slightly wider--2.5 versus 2.0.

My Narin dolls have fit into MSD shoes with no trouble.

I tried most of my F2BM clothes on my Narae last night.

My summary is...

1. Skirts with waistbands sit on top of the hips and waistband sticks out from body - could fix somewhat by velcroing at an angle. Skirts without waistbands work better.

2. Bottoms without velcro like pajama bottoms were very hard to get over her thighs and butt. I also did not like the odd rubbery feel of the bottoms of the pajamas I got.

3. Tops generally adorable (though I am careful not to buy anything that looks bulky or has small defined breast areas). I discarded one top - the turtleneck white sweater is so stiff and thick and hard, I dumped it.

tinybear makes gorgeous tibetan wool wigs especially for narae.

 

Lots of companies have 6-7 wigs too. If you search Ebay for:

wig (unoa,narae,6-7) you can usually pull up a bunch.

And in the Marketplace you can find wigs made by members including tinybear's Tibetan wigs and sewaddictd's fur wigs and others.

I was also going to recommend sewaddictd's wigs. She just got her Narae and she's made a bunch of fur wigs for her. You can see them on her dollypages. If you look up her thread in the marketplace she has a link to the dolly pages and she's also making shirts for Narae now too. Really cute.

I just got a soft brown one, like in the pic on her site, and it's so silky, with the prettiest little curls. :>) Oh - and her clothes are fabulous!

 

The teen trends stuff fits pretty well The sandals that comes with the sets are just a tiny bit too short(only shows from the back) I really do love these, they show off the cute toes so well
There are 4 PJ sets that fits like a glove, i have some more i got to check how they fit. As for F2B stuff its a hit and miss, Tops are usually a bit too wide, but if you can sew a straight seam you can fix it. Pants are usually too short. Although lately they have done some capri's that fit nicely. There is a F2B thread here in the mini section, check that out if you want info on specific items.

 

That's great, actually it's the TT sandals [and cute little bags... and cell phones.... and....] that I'm interested in And I like that "Going Out" Set with a short blue dress and silver sandals, I wonder if that dress fits too ._. the leopard PJ set is cute too now I'm gonna buy them definitely, oh dear >.> don't have the doll yet and I'm already ruined xD

I bough two sets for Kianna from Teen Trends - PJ party and Goin Glam, and they're a perfect fit. The shoes from GG are just a tiny bit too small but they look perfectly fine to me, and the dress fits like a dream and looks great too!

 

I just bought some very cool looking jackets from user Cornstarch on the board. I haven't gotten them yet, but I'll post pictures when I do. I have bought from some of the seamstresses here and I've never had a bad transaction. Pinktink (joyce w. designs), Lindsayscorner, Shayi, and Brennil all are talented seamstresses with darn good taste. When my lights are set up and my Yern is back from her face up artist (Kayley) I'll do a fashion shoot to show off my girls and their awesome wardrobes.

I came across some photos on Flickr of a Narae wearing clothes made for Mooqla dolls. They're very adult clothes, and I'm pretty sure all of the dresses fit; I'm not sure of the shoes, it would be awesome if they did. Has anyone else heard of this doll before? http://www.mooqla.com/dolls/

 

Ok that does sound expensive. The red silk (real silk) evening gown with the large collar that I pictured at one stage would come to about : $ 105 or Euro 70. But this also depends on what the dealers will charge. This is the price that I calculate as the selling price.

This is the most expensive one owing to the fact that the fabric used is silk.

 

I thought the prices were about equivalent to some Tonner outfits, so if there was a dress that was really different and pretty, I could see spending that. Also, it's not just a dress in the price but shoes and an accessory. So if someone could try on the shoes and see if they fit?
I searched through DoA and came up with earlier postings about Mooqla. It's ok to discuss the clothes fitting as it applies to Narae, we just can't really discuss the doll itself. An earlier poster had written about the price of shipping being high, so that may also determine if something is worth getting. I wonder if there is a state-side dealer, or if they only sell online?
