Ok I have an idea for the photo competition. But naturally it means I have to go all out and blush an entire doll (it's good motivation really). Plus I'll be away for a while while the comp is running so I don't know if I'll get it all finished in time.

 

After seeing the new pics from Granado about the ot guy, I was just curious. What is the craziest pose you've managed to get your dolls into? I did a whole fight scene with Rinzer and Logan (over Jade, lol) before, but it wasn't too crazy because getting them to stand on carpet is hard enough. I believe I've also gotten Rinzer to hold Jade before too.

Anyone else? Let me see!

Love the yoga dudes! I haven't challenged the resin crew with too many challenging poses. Maybe I need to torment them more.

 

I wondered why I wasn't receiving notifications! Apparently a new thread started. ^^

Do any of you have girlfriends for your guys? My Jupiter is supposed to have a girlfriend, and I'm trying to decide what he'd look good next to. Definitely NOT the Feeple60 I originally had planned, he'd break her in half!

 

Rinzer and Jade are a couple (in my icon). Both are Granado. Then Hunter and TJ are a kinda couple, but both are also Granados. If you want, I can show you a Feeple65 near a Granado guy if you still want to go FL.

I don't have a preference really as far as brand, just so that they look "natural" together. It does seem that the 65cm girls out there would work better; I just didn't know if anyone had photos before I buy blindly.

Thank you, @Quiet and Insane. I think that Neptune's sculpt fits this character very well. I am happy with how he turned out.

Yes, you got it. Cranked one for my mother when I was little but borrowed one in 1970 and used it instead of paying for the laundromat. That is when I found out the different "squeeze" settings on the wringers that I didn't know existed when I was a child. My fingers got more nimble after they got pinched a few times.

Iwan is looking dapper in his very proper clothes and pipe, even if his wounds make me cringe in sympathy.

Does the new body fit into Iplehouse clothing?

 

Love him & his outfit! Very nice to see!

 

I can't wait to see the difference in height of my Cohen aka Enoch & the new Titan Awin I ordered thinking somehow he was the same size as Iplehouses HID.... thankfully I ordered his clothing & shoes... I guess I'll have to try sewing small scale for him as I can't seem to locate anyone else that sells his size clothing.

 

The difference between Evol and Titan is HUGE. I opened Hunter (Neptune) at a meet up. Nothing I brought for him fit which is why he was naked the whole time (Binx, my Mr.Kitty was his censor bar). The Titan belongs to my friend. Not only is he huge, but he weighs a ton.

I know it looks off in the picture, but they are side to side. Hunter is on a stand but he still looks tiny next to a Titan!

No huge guys here. I thought I'd post a nice photo I shot today of Drake and Dakota. Drake is just a guy, smart, intuitive and he can recognize non humans. Dakota is a shape-shifter so Drake looked into the guy's past and found he was a pretty savvy tech dude and all round nice guy, so he hired him to work with his team.
Dakota is new here so they had a moment.

Thank you! The pipe was a gift from a friend. Iwan does need suspenders though, as those EID pants just fall right off his skinny butt. He's far too decent to show off the other scars he has (mostly self-inflicted experimentation), but the burns are a good example of why you should always be careful when playing with chemicals in the lab. They were inspired by the fact that when he arrived his left arm would always curl up into itself. It was as if he was hinting to me that he'd injured it somehow. Restringing his fixed the issue, but it's part of his story now, and I had a lot of fun making the scar.
Drake and Dakota look very relaxed all snuggled up like that.

So of course there is a bit of a New Year's sale at Granado with Michael being one of them... and here I am still waiting for my Michael at the regular price (plus extra for layaway!--I hate that). But oh, well. I sort of knew it would happen. I think that happened when I ordered Neptune, too. I always fear that they won't re-release dolls, even though they usually DO!). Ah, well! --I'll be fine when I finally get him home, though! Waiting is such a killer...

 

@Quiet and Insane I love your Neptune's look did you make his clothes or buy them? Where did you get that awesome vest?

@Mrkendoll1 He makes a wonderful Jamie! I love the show outlander and you really did it justice!

@derilan85 the Evol body..sort of..fits EID stuff around the shoulders, pants waists are too baggy. You need to do a bit of alterations at best.

I've been lurking these threads for a while, as I love Granado's sculpts, but never joined because I didn't have one (and I'm horrible at keeping up with discussion threads, but I want to try again!). Well, two of my wonderful friends got me a V-07 head for Christmas and I picked him up earlier this month. He's gorgeous and I have no idea what I'm going to do with him, since I decided against my original plan once I saw him in person.

My first picture of him is terrible, as I opened him in a restaurant (that apparently doesn't believe in good lighting) because we had a minimeet of sorts. ^^


My friend also sent her Saturn and Enoch head home with me. Saturn is going to be blushed, which is exciting as I've never blushed a doll that large (and he's gorgeous). Since they're here and she gave me permission, I took a bunch of comparison pictures the other day. If anyone is interested, I posted them in the comparison thread, but they are also on my Flickr with some pictures that I didn't post in the thread.

I look forward to more pictures of everyone's dolls. They are all gorgeous and so amazingly put together. :'D
