Body Comparison Granado 68cm muscle body vs nuevo body (nudity)

    1. I now have both bodies and can show the differences between the two. They are mostly the same but certain parts on the nuevo body are bigger. The muscle body is on the left and the nuevo on the right in all pictures.

      1) Front view. Nuevo body is nice and smooth but still has muscles.

      2) The legs are basically the same in design, however, the calves on the nuevo body are slightly bigger. Also, the older muscle body has bigger ball-joints on the thigh parts (better visible in later picture).

      3) The arms on the nuevo body are also bigger, especially the ball-joint of the upper arm/shoulder. I am having a hard time finding a shirt to get on the nuevo body due to the larger ball-joint.

      6) I got Davon on the nuevo body and he uses a faceplate system instead of a headcap like my V-03 has. I do not know if the new sculpts will all be like this. I don't mind since I like this system.

      The nuevo body has the same size feet as the muscle body so I did not take pictures of them. All of the jointing is still the same as well. The new body is strung differently from what I can tell so far (the leg string goes through the body normally instead of into each leg and then up into the torso like in the muscled body).

      I can get the muscle body into SSDF clothes easily (pants are a tad long) but as I said before, due to the larger ball-joint in the arm for the nuevo body, I'm having trouble getting him into shirts. The nuevo body also as the larger calves (hard to see in pics) so he cannot wear all of the same pants the muscle can. Since both bodies have large calves, I do not recommend getting boots that don't lace up or have both lace and zipper.

    2. I do believe that your Vee is special - all of my Granado boys come with the face-plate system. Vee clearly just likes being different. Heh.

      Dang, but those arms do look rather large in comparison, don't they... as do those pecs of his. Same tiny waist, though. My incoming boy may be topless for a bit until I find something fitted for him, if that's the case. Not that that will be any sort of hardship. ;)

      The thought of larger calves is making me quake a bit, though. They don't look too different in your photos, so I'm hoping that the difference in person is minimal as well. Fitting pants over those monstrous muscles is hard enough, without them growing any! Stretchy fabric, here I come.

      I'm really liking that the ball-joint for the thigh doesn't seem to jut forward as much with the nuevo body. That kind of bugged me with the first body, so I'm glad that Crocus adjusted it. It does make for a nicer body line.

      Thanks for doing this, LuckyXIII! Seeing how they compare side-by-side like this is great. ^_^

    3. Yeah, V-03 is very special. He is the only one of my Granado head use the head cap system.

    7. I liked both but the nuevo a bit better. The upper leg/thigh ball-joints on the muscle body bothered me a bit with how far they stick out. Much better on the nuevo.

      oh yes, the nipples on the nuevo body are barely there. I forgot to mention that. You can try and see them in the pics but they barely stick out. Just for anyone who likes nipples.

    11. Ah really ? It's a lot lighter than the resin sample colors on their site. Awesome. I like it - might go with it. Totally sold on the nuevo body type. x) Love the realism !

    13. Sorry, I do not have a SID body. My Storm head actually uses my Granado muscular body when I want him out. I will probably get him a Granado body of his own. My Storm is in normal and it's a close match to the pink, but I heard it matches Granado normal pretty perfectly. Don't quote me on that though! There is a thread with resin matches in the pic request section.

      I can do comparisons with the following SDs if anyone is interested: Soom Super Gem male and female, Dream of Doll DoI and DoT, Luts SSDF and HZ 65cm. I also have various minis. Here is a clothed pic I have with Super Gem male, vs Granado 68 (muscle but the two bodies are the same height) vs SSDF.

      The Granado (my Soom Chrom is on) is wearing a Luts SSDF outfit. Due to the size difference, I can't get the same cothes on the Nuevo body.
