Specific Doll Granado 68cm posing - nudity

    1. A continuation of this thread - I had some fun with my newest body for my Chrom head ans thought I'd share my experiences. If anyone has any other pics fee free to add them!!

      He can stand, he can twist - doing a bit of a contraposto thing here

      I've found this body to be an excellent poser and stander so far. This first one is pretty simple but he looks very natural.

      Marvel at my ancient cell phone. This was alittle fussy to get him to stand, but once I got him there, he was solid. Yes, he does have KIPS, Granado was awesome and sent them along with the body!

      This one is cool. He has no support, he's completely doing this on his own.

      ^^;; When you take into consideration her has no mobility joints in his thighs, its pretty impressinve how far he can spread his legs.

      most of my other dolls couldn't do this to save their lives. He does need to have at least 1 hand on his leg or the floor though, otherwise he'll fall backwards.

      I think I'm most impressed by this one. Its a little tricky to get him in it, but once he's there its fairly stable.

      Here's the side view.

      Now for what I don't like about this body:
      He's a great poser, I love that, but his legs... >>

      Those hip joints stick wayyy out, which means no tight pants. My mom actually asked me if his legs were on backwards since they stick out so far! Then there's the Calves of DOOM. Crimeny, I think they're about as big as his thighs! Lol they make vinyl pants look like leggings, and the itty bitty feet just make them look bigger. They are pretty small for such a big doll.

      Overall, I'm pretty happy with this body. The jointed hands are fun and he's pretty flexible and stable. Seam sanding is alittle rough honestly, but I don't think I paid extra for it. All in all, I'd totally recommend this body!

      His muscly legs are hot as hell, but dang, they can get in the way of his posing at times! :lol:

      I'm insanely impressed with some of those poses you've gotten him into (yes, I'm looking at you, curled-up-crouch!). You've inspired me to try experimenting with my own boy some. It looks like he's quite a bit more flexible than I gave him credit for being.

    4. Stunning!!! Thanks for all the pics. They're incredibly helpful. I just ordered my first Granado so it's great to see what they can do! This will be a welcome change; the only doll I have that I can pose nicely is a Fairyland Roke, and I was beginning to wonder if there were any large dolls that could pose without all the magnetic parts that Fairyland's dolls have!

    6. At the behest of a future Granado owner, I have a few posing pictures that can be added here. My crummy indoor lighting will just have to be forgiven :sweat -->

      Kaien (V-01) is at my service:

      Standard hip-cocked, arm parallel to the floor pose - his arm stays like that without the help of sueding, kips or wiring:

      What's he doing here? Uhhh... Touching his head and balancing on one foot. The cocked leg only has a toe resting on the floor - there's no weight being put on it:

      Nice back muscles? Just distributing his weight a little differently here:

      Kung-fu Kaien! He couldn't hold this pose (free-standing) for long - he wound up tipping his head back against the wall after about thirty seconds (still maintaining the overall pose, though). He's still free-standing for this shot:

      Totally cheating here - he couldn't keep that long leg of his extended without aid... but that's what photoshop is for! XD :

    7. Alright, a (super fast) part 2 to fill the request for sitting poses!

      Kaien sulking in a corner. I couldn't get his arms to wrap completely around his uber-long legs, but this was no effort:
