Here is a Supia Roda head on the Granado neuvo body, for anyone curious. The match is pretty good. It's much better with the blushed head. To be continued...
Comparison between Granado neuvo body and Fairyland Feeple65 bodies I'll have a comparison of Supia and Granado bodies in a few days
The Supia head looks quite lovely on the nuevo body... nice proportions. I am noticing that the nuevo body seems to sit straighter than the Feeple65 though (Vivien's leaning back a fair ways there). I'll look forward to seeing the full comparison when you get around to it. ^^
keewee: It's kind of a tough answer. While I think the neuvo body tends towards more natural looking poses, it's very fiddly for me to get in a pose and stay in it, even after I've hot glue sueded her joints. The Feeple65 body isn't as natural looking in poses, but I can usually put her in a pose and have her stay in it with minimal fussing. Feeple65 stands very well and her hands are just gorgeous, but she's top heavy and sometimes hard to sit. The neuvo body has beautiful sitting poses and I love her long nails, but she's a pain to get to stand and it takes forever for her to do it on her own. lol sorry for the long answer. :] Kirika: lol Yeah My Feeple65 girl can sit pretty straight when her knees can bend but when they're straight out her huge endowments just weigh her down. The neuvo body definitely sits better.
Here are the Supia/Granado body comparisons. In these first photos it's a Supia Roda head (normal skin) on a pink skin Granado body on the left and a Pink skinned modded Gitana head on a normal skinned Supia body on the right. And now they're back on their own bodies. ^_^ Granado Pink skin (left) and Supia Normal Skin (right) With the Supia head on the Granado body, the match is really good, but the Granado head on the Supia body is a pretty bad match. It might be because my Roda has a face-up, I'm not sure. Out take: EDIT: Also, I have heel feet on my Supia, so she's probably even a little shorter than the Granado with flat feet on.
Can the Nuevo body spread her legs at all? In all the pictures I've seen, people are using the thigh mobility joint to spread the legs. Does the hip joint not allow her legs to spread at all (EG: can she only stand with her thighs together unless the mobility joint in her thigh is used)? Thanks!
Kiyakotari: Her legs can spread without the thigh joint engaged but it's not a very far distance. Her feet (not thighs) can maybe get an inch apart without the thigh joint. It's pretty hard to get her to spread her legs far apart because the upper leg joint isn't ball shaped. I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow when the lights better.
Can you help me and see if Granado Nuevo can use Supia's flat feet? I know it's a funny request, but I really need my Fayette to have larger feet so she can stand better... ;( Thank you so much!
Yes, I could only switch one though, because it was a process haha. The granado hooks were too small for the supia feet so I had to take off my supia girls foot and use her s-hook. And then her other foot wouldn't come off...haha needless to say it was a fight. The skin match in person is really good and personally I think the feet look great. If I can find some other s-hooks I might have my Granado wear the Supia flat feet. She stood pretty solidly for a minute, but I can't really tell you how the standing is because I only had one foot strung. It seemed a good fit though. With Flash: Also ignore the color, it was pretty late and the light was weird.
Sorry, I just stumbled upon this thread in my search for a match for a Supia head. Does the Granado New Normal resin match Supia NS?
I know it's an old thread, but I'm curious about that match myself ... but the body comparison helped a lot, thank you! (Actually I might find out firsthand within the next couple months - I'll buy a Granado Nuevo in New Normal soon and I'm eyeing Supia Ariel or Eunice for an elven OC of mine. The body is planned for another doll and the elf would just be borrowing / sharing it, so I'm not losing any sleep over the resin match, I'd just be thrilled if it worked )
