I'm still waiting for my DES that I ordered from DDE in April but seeing everyone's MNF arrivals and spam is keeping me patient...and realizing that I'd better start sewing quick!

 

Everyone's new thread spam is so lovely I thought I'd have pictures of my Siean by now, but apparently they'll be for the next first page! :P I'm super excited to show him off, though; I just got his body in the mail!

 

I mostly look at all the beautiful dolls here, but here are my new minifee My boy's waiting for his body at the end of June!

I just got this Mirwen second hand, who I'm very excited about so I thought I'd show her. I'm not the biggest fan of the moe body though but oh well.

Who else is getting worried about Fairylands upcoming event? So far they have only shown the little ones, but give how most events have gone I wonder if they are going to do another Minifee. If they did, what would you guys like to see? I personally want to see another elf, I would LOVE if they did a Mirwen elf event head!

I've been away so long I think I've missed a whole thread....in any case id like to show off my new boy who finally got his first real photoshoot.

 

I have searched, and read all the linked threads in the OP but...

I am afraid to sew clothes for my MNF until she gets here. I didn't have this problem with any of my other dolls. I made/purchased clothes for them long before they arrived but something about this one has me spooked. Naturally at the same time I do not want her in the nude for long.

Has anyone else felt that way or am I just being 110% silly?

Hello all! Drive by silly question here...
(That I'm sure has been asked 100000 times before!)
I was lucky enough to start bringing my dream Rendia home, but I haven't decided on a body for her. I've played with an A-line and B-line before, but I've yet to see a moe or fairyline body in person. I,m not overly worried about the posing, but I was curious was everyone's preference was?
I hope to be in this thread often! There are some amazing dolls here!

 

I've got active and moe bodies and I love them both; still don't have a fairy.
I love how short and slightly chubby the moe is especially next to my a-line elf girls and boy.

As far as poseability the active is a tiny bit more manoverable because the hip socket has more pieces and the hips are not attached to the torso.
Fairy seems almost the same as active but it's got all the magnets.

But since you're not worried about that, id say search for as many pictures of them nude as possible and see which body you like better. The moe is short, I believe both the active and fairy are about the same hight.
The busts offered may also affect your choice they are not universally offered on all the bodies, so check that.
(I have a cutie bust on my moe but you can't get that anymore unless you find a trade partner)

 

I'm not a fan of the Moe body, but I have several friends who love it. I have both a male and female active line body and while my (2012) female body is a pain to deal with my older male body is just fine. I've had female Alines in the past that were just fine for posing - I just think my ShuShu elf is doomed to have difficult posing. I also have a Fairyline which poses well. If you want more information on the Fline, there's a separate thread for it.

First one unpacked doll in new place is my Celine =^__^= She and Wacom tablet make feel any place like a home!

I gave Ginko (Kai) a new face up this morning since the sealer went all white and splotchy so looked horrible. He also has his correct wig on (though I may trim it so it's not so floofy)

There's always so much gorgeous spam at the beginning of a new thread - I almost don't mind when it's days or more before I realise there's a new thread because there are so many lovely pictures to look at!

I attempted to faceup my FLAM head today to disastrous results. It's been ages since I've done a faceup and literally nothing went right. My cat jumped onto the table right into all my pastels. Coloured dust went flying everywhere, he tipped over my brush cleaner which splattered all over the head I was trying to paint and ruined 4 hours of work. Not to mention his foot is now almost completely red/pink and it won't wash off XD

Can I see some of your own faceup attempts to cheer me up and encourage me to try again?

 

My Arinae has a new face! She was an RFA and is now a FLAM. Also, my face ups have gotten much better. You can see her old head and face up here.

I did manage to get all my girls to stand up together yesterday. It was quite a trial. I'm not happy with all their poses so I need to work on that.

i would bet the new event is just realfees, and maybe the tan option again on some of the other lines. but if they did do a new elf head i would love luka or mirwen.

 

Hey everyone I have a quick question! I've got my eye on a pair of eyes on etsy that are 12mm. Will they fit minifees?
I have 7 minifee shiwoos and no 12mm eyes to try in them, so I have no clue if they'd work. I'd like to know before I buy them because they're pretty expensive imo.
Soooo does anyone have pics of a minifee wearing 12mm eyes? Bonus points if it's a Shiwoo. XD

 

Edit: I take my first comment back, mendokusai's FAQ no longer has any pictures, so it's not going to help you much.
I can show you my shushu and her 12mm but it wouldn't help you since each head is unique in eye and eyewell shape.
