What an exciting day! My F-line Sia arrived, and today I finalized the purchase of an SP of DES, who is only a state/province away!
Now I have to figure out how to decide on the eye shape I'll be going for and then send her, and possibly my other two SPs off to be modded open.
I've never really photoshopped well before. I hope I can figure some tricks out to settling on an eye shape.

 

@kita8 how exciting! I'm old school, I would look at lots of owner pics and then do some pencil and paper sketches.

My Liria is out for delivery today and I'm dying waiting for the postal worker to show up!! I'm so scared I'll miss them and not get Liria until after the holiday.

Here's my RFA head that I painted yesterday.

 

Hurray! She's here! My Liria! I'll be naming her Jemma. (Inspiration from a show if anyone knows it, but I love the name.)

I do have a question for any Liria owners.. my Liria doesn't have her name in her head or headcap, is that normal? I tried to find any owner pictures to answer this, but failed to find any.
Any info would be appreciated!

Figured I should share this beauty I adopted! Poor thing had to wait till today for eyes because I didn't have any eye putty on hand!
I don't know if she'll keep this look but I like it enough for now

 

I don't have a Liria, but my Mirwen doesn't have her name engraved either. I asked her first owner, and she said she arrived that way from FL. She was from the initial release of Mirwen. So maybe the initial release heads don't have their names engraved but when they go to a la carte they add the name?

There are some lovely girls being shared but we need to see some boys, I would love to see some spam of the boy minifee's.

I also can't wait to see a Sia or FLAM with a faceup.

 

Nope, I just checked and mine doesn't either. The RFA I have does (as well as the year) but nothing in my Liria.

 

I don't have her to check anymore, but I'm pretty sure my Liria didn't have her name engraved either.

 

It's because she's a limited release. She will never be made minifee size again.

Hi There - I've been collecting for years, but haven't posted much. I recently purchased a couple new girls. Chloe in NS and Celine in Tan. Please don't mind Celine's bald head. She will soon have a new wig

 

So I'm linking a quick video to show off what I've been playing with since looloo (who's Iple boys are very off topic here) posted her experiments with the motion portrait app.

I'm warning you it's seriously creepy, but I love it.

 

Ah, I love the M-line bodies but the feet are so small compared to my other MSD's. Does anyone know a good place to find some basic shoes? Everything that i bought for my old A-lines just falls off my current girls since they're all on M-lines now I wonder if they would fit YoSD size shoes...

I just got this body for my Liria head and I'm somewhat concerned about it. It's not a good match for Liria, and appears not to have magnets for the chest piece. Can anyone tell me if Fairyland's tan is this inconsistent or if I should be able to see the moe line chest magnets inside?

 

That looks very dark to me!

I am joining the minifee clan with a NS Sarang 14 head...

 

@WindGuardKT I don't have any tan FL dolls, but I think I remember reading that the different releases of the TS have different looks to them, but that difference seems huge. I'm so sorry the head doesn't match the body.

Got some new outfits today, so took some pics outside of my baby girls!



Originally Coco was supposed to be 20, and Mimi was supposed to be 18, but I keep buying sort of matching outfits, and my daughter wants me to make them twins. So they are now non-identical twins.

 

I have never seen a variation in the current Fairyland tan like that. The body almost seems too dark, more like the tanning resin, which hasn't been used since before 2006.

I don't know about magnets, I would have thought the Moe would have magnets in their backs for wings and they are usually made with the magnets in place. The normal MNF do not have the same magnet set up as the Fairy-line dolls.

 

My minifee moe has magnets in the back of her chest piece, i dont know how they are placed inside though, i can't pull her apart enough to see

 

They do! But you have to be careful what size you get. If the inside of the shoe measures a bit over 4.5 (4.6+cm), I think, then they'll fit (maybe with a bit of wrestling, like my Aileen's :P).

I'm always so shocked to read that people's A-line clothes don't fit the M-line! Isn't the only difference the bust size and the leg length? Aileen (M-line) fits great in slim msd clothes. They might be a touch baggy, but that's her style and the style of the clothes I buy for her. I'm obnoxiously bereft of new pictures of her. She's in the middle of having a wig made.

 

I have had an older Fairyland tan MiniFee and the difference wasn't anywhere near that extreme. Where did you buy the body and did the seller state the year it was made? I'd be quite concerned too

How long have FL been offering the m-line body? For some reason I don't remember it being around when they had their "darker" resin.

 

I've also read that the ts is inconsistent, but my ts dolls range from the first release to early this year and they are not noticeably different to me at all (especially in person).

Between it's coloring and it not having magnets, I would be concerned, too. Mlines have had magnets since their release.

Hi^^. I have two minifees in tan skin color and a pukifee in tan color too. I owned a Feeple60 chloe in tan color too but I remember she had almost the same tan color than my two minifees and my Pukifee. The color difference was very slightly, and your photo shows a very big tan color difference..., does she really looks in person this way or it is just the photo? :S

Besides I think it is very strange that she has no magnets in her back, since all minifees moe body have magnets. I owned a MNF moe in normal skin color, a woosoo, that I ordered in 2013 when they offered hybrids of their dolls with the moe line. My woosoo had a moe body with the small minifee bust and had no magnets, but as far as I know all moe bodies, no hybrids, have magnets.

I checked my moe ante and I do can see the magnets in her back, they are like glued on inside her body. Where did you buy the body?. I do not think it is normal that big color difference and the fact that she has no magnets, I would be concerned too..

All Moe bust pieces should have the magnets. My hybrid A-line also has since she has the Moe Full bust. I think it has been written down somewhere that A-line doesn't have magnets and M-line does in their bust.

 

Yes I've never seen a MOE line girl without magnets on her back. And that color difference is crazy! I'm sorry the body doesn't match your head That has got to be disappointing! I only have 2 tan girls (one MOE and one A line) but both are pretty recent batches of tan. My A-line I purchased from FL less than a year ago and I don't remember what year my MOE body was made but since the MOE line bodies are still pretty new it couldn't be more than a couple years old. Sorry I can't be any help

I have a question about Minifee Celine! I have fallen head over heels with her sculpt and was wondering what size eyes any of you guys' Celine's had. I think 14 mm are what's listed with Fairyland, but does this mean that not much of the whites of the eyes are showing? Do 12 mm leave gaps? Any pictures and suggestions are extremely welcome, thank you! ^^

 

Hello, I'm sure this question has been asked but could anyone tell me how well the 12mm eyes fit the minifee? I don't like gaps. I was considering buying a pair of Oscar eyes in 12 mm but don't know if they will gap. Thanks

 

It's only shoes (not clothes) that don't fit any of my MiniFees now they're on Moes. They legit just fall off unless they have a pair of socks on, but they're still quite a bit too big I'll have to search Taobao for some new ones !

 

Which MiniFee? There are lots of sculpts with different eye hole sizes

Oh gosh, rereading your initial post, you did only mean the shoes. I get worse at reading the longer I'm in school. :P Moe shoes are really hard to find. I just ordered some boots that should work from DollHeart. They are YoSD. It'll be a while before I get them, but I'll try to remember to show them to you.
