Luts Kid Delf Discussion part 15

xD That's great @KiyoshiSenshi . Everyone should share their 'first arrival' or original pictures of some of their KDFs, and some 'now' pictures of them. Kouji, my Bory, is 7, I'll definitely have to stitch together some transformation pics when I get home.

 

I've forgotten if I asked about this, so I apologize, but does anyone here have opinions on the type 5 body?

 

Oh! I can maybe help.
We have the multibody, the romantic body, and the type 5 body in my house. BUT my type 5 is my steelheart body so I don't play wiht her much.

The type 5 body is nice and sturdy, but has functionality the same as the multibody. That being said, sometimes I can't get her to sit up straight or stand 100% of the time.
I do like it more than the multibody however. It's got a nice thickness to it that isn't 'too thick' and is great for if you want a doll with an immature body~
I know i posted a comparison album in the old thread somewhere for someone .

I think before and after photos are awesome! My boy still has the same look now as he did when he first arrived but I have a new outfit for him which I have yet to try it on him! I was gonna change my boys' outfits over the weekend since we have a holiday so I'll post my Luts Summer '15 boy before and after photos then!

I don't even remember what body he's on and had to check it up and it seems he's on the Type 3 body. Wow, Luts has a Type 5 now huh. At least the type 3 body isn't as kicky or "rotate-y" as my Honey Delf!

I don't have a measurement, but what body are you looking for @KiyoshiSenshi

 

If you look under the boy body option part, it says the neck circumference of the body is 7.8cm? So I assume it should fit but may need sueding?


I also want to share my borys before and after pics. X3 what a difference

 

I have a Fantasy doll body that is a 7cm circumference and it doesn't bother me too much. My summer '10 head is on it, if you want me to take pics when I get home~

and thanks! his old faceup chipped really bad so he needed a new one. This one is much more expressive so I' mmuch happier with it over the default one. Plus I like his mellowed color~

 

I think we have tried on black hair plenty of times now, but nothing beats the light blonde

I didn't notice Koujis difference until I got my twins 2 years later. He looks yellow, but normal compared to them, still. My SD on teh other hand.. LOL. Whatever.


@manabusama : You want to get a Leo to go with him on a model delf body, right? Poor Cora needs his man.

Thanks It's a KDF Lio on the MDF body in one of the tan skins, that he is waiting for. I got Cora in 2015. No wonder he's not happy. I guess I better save up for his boyfriend next. Cora is getting lovesick Hope Aelic get's a boyfriend soon too

 

Wow! He's truly stunning. I hadn't realized how dramatic Lime could be. I love his faceup!

I'm going to get a HDF girl Lio as well. A little sister for my MDF Lio. The 3 of them will be so cute together Lio is the next up on my wish list so you'll get to see some pictures before you order yours, if you decide you want one. But before I order Lio I probably should take a little break from any BJD orders. I just got 2 dolls home, and waiting for 2 more.

That's a good choice, Joelle.D is so cool! I had him on my wish list for a while. It was during my "Dramatical Murder" anime obsession. I wanted to turn him into Noiz. And Jarn into Aoba. But I'm not so sure I'm seeing that happening anymore

Haha too many awesome dolls is the problem with this hobby. There's so many of them! Hopefully Aelic will have his boyfriend soon

Doesn't he look so different? ;3 A lot of it has to do with eye positioning and clothing. The new faceup doesn't stray TOO FAR from th eoriginal but still. >w< You totally need to get that boy a boyfriend though! I love my little yaoi men. (My Yuz and Summer '14 are a pairing. )

Yeah, I usually prefer for resin matching to be closer, but ever since I got my winter '15 head on a xagadoll body that is way too yellow for her, I'm looking past it. I wanna get her a newer body in a diffrent color, but I LOVE the Xagadoll.. so many curves. *3*

Amazing how that happens, right? When I first got him I was like '... eh.. i wanted him to look closer to an immature 16 or so, not 11. Now? I'm satisfied.

 

He looked so child like before. The changes made him look more mature, like he's gotten a bit older. Very cool Hehe Yaoi and BL for life! And Yuri, and Shoujo. Love it all!

Oh I will! I so will Lio is the next doll I'll order. I can't take it any more, to see Cora by him self on the shelf Well he's not exactly alone he got his MDF Persi and Catish Reaa friends. But they seem to have something going on between them. And Cora kind of feel like a third weel.

 

@KiyoshiSenshi : I didn't do her original faceup, and I'm still a noob at it, so I'm afraid of messing something up.. I know I can probably do a light blushing to match it alittle closer, but.. Im afraid of deluding the colors and ruining what's already there. :\ I mean.. it's pretty yellow so I wouldn't mind spending the money to get her something better, then selling the older body for under cost because of it. Someone else would definitely love it! Lol

@manabusama I know what you mean. My Winter '12 was so lonely, even though he had other friends. Now he has my steel heart Jamong, Ami, as his friend. (She's a robot so.. obviously no relationship or anything. Zero, my '12, is also too ..innocent to have a relationship. xDD)

 

Got my first bjd in today, a basil. I haven't ordered her eyes yet so sticking with the ones Luts sent her with.

 

@manabusama Cora is such a cutie-- and he really has 'grown up' with the changes to his look! Love the shot of him glaring over the beanie fox at the camera, poor lonely, pouty boy.

(ahh the KDF boyfriend curse... for me, it was the other way around in a weird way-- I'd planned on eventually getting Vince a boyfriend and then once I had him and his character shifted, he decided he wanted to stay single. Well, someday I'll wind up with a cute, lovey-dovey little resin couple, even if he doesn't want to be half of it)

@Elomina Ahh, congrats, your girl is so lovely! That wig is really cute on her, too. (I wound up loving the eyes that Luts sent in Vince and I never bothered changing them, tbh-- but even if you have plans for a different look for her or just prefer a different style of eye, the ones she has will make for a great temporary, her whole look is really sweet and lovely)



When the rain actually stops for more than two minutes, I've got to wipe and repaint Vince. He's stuck with a VERY temporary faceup right now that had gone all wrong, so he looks a bit wonky. But, right now he's got a stocking pulled over his head while this wig cap dries, so I don't have to look at my worst work haha. (Technically, his wig cap for his new wig is finished, but I'm going ahead and making a spare or two since I have so much of all the supplies for wig caps and several yarns on hand. But I DEFINITELY need to fix his face before I'm done sewing and wigmaking, before I take pictures. It's just been so rainy...)

And where there is, there is always a lot of people.
But if you really want good pictures of their children, then it is possible to suffer.

I definitely will need to take more pictures when I've re-done Vince's faceup... he's suffered in the time he's had this one. But I really want to take him to the carousel downtown! I think it would make for some really cute photos. And I've decided I don't care if I'm that strange woman with the carousel print dress and giant doll, I'm going to make a day of it!

Took me a while because I'm slow as heck LOL but here's my Summer boy's "before-and-after" photos! I guess they are more of a "modern" vs. "traditional" look than a before-and-after comparison since the "modern" outfit belongs exclusively to him and he'd still be wearing it sometimes!



@KiyoshiSenshi OMG! That's the DLD body I ordered LOL! That body is gorgeous! I was hoping to get it for my DF practice head but I'm not sure if it's a fit for it yet. I just got my shipping notice for my DLD boy so when the body arrives I can see if the Luts head fits on it if you still want to know then? :

@Fate wow you've had him for 7 years? That's a long time! I always admire people who have their dolls for that long, kinda like, that's a long history you share with your doll! My Luts boy has only been with me less than 2 years but I hope he will continue to stay with me for a long long time to come!

I hate to say it, but I have a hard time taking pictures of my Jamong. My Berry is always photogenic, but with Jamong I have issues. She's so cute though

On the plus side, I finally got her a wig! I tried a bunch, which looked oversized (I wanted a tight pixie cut) until I realized I should measure her head...And what do you know, she is exactly 7"! She fit perfectly into this crobidoll 6-7 wig

Don't mind the thing on her head (It's actually my watch lol). The wig came poofy so I'm trying to tame it. I need to get her a proper girly headband xD

 

The clearest look anyone is going to get at Vince's current needs-to-be-wiped faceup... is Vince in the middle of having his wig made;

I'm about two thirds done laying the wefts, and once it was dry enough I had to wrap another layer of saran wrap over the top to start taming the poofiness/training the bangs to lie the right direction. I really can't wait to be able to trim and style it... it's definitely got me excited to make a bunch more brushed yarn wigs. Even if my boy is currently at the 'hot mess' stage, I'm just loving working with him.

 

@Aliyahbetd Thank you! Unfortunately on the site is sold is not the same.

But I suffer. Chris will be six years old in November, his default make-up, a good one.But due to the fact that they constantly touched the cheeks and chin there already tears. None of the masters in my city wants to take up the amendment.
And if you send the company for a redraw, will they draw a make-up doll that is not already on sale? In general, everything is complicated. Not critical of course, but in some photos is very noticeable.

Yet I wrote to the firm and finally we will send COA! When I ordered it in 2011 they were not((

@Areanra when I ordered my brinicle, I asked for them to send me a coa for my bory because it was before coa time and they sent me one, so I'm surprised. But they did see i bought it from their site...

 

I'm not redoing his face because I really like how it came out, but the blushing on his paws has chipped a LOT. Of course, I'm not sure when I'll be able to do it. Texas summer will be staring soon. :/

 

@Anneko I ran out of fiber for my wig. D: So poor Terra looks exactly like that.. for days. xD Just waiting on more to come in . Supposed ot be tomorrow Then I'll get her finished up.

My sister had to giggle at him when I'd just started because it looked like he was balding, but all the hair he had left was long, luxurious and rainbow. There was definitely a 'clown wig' stage, which I'm glad I'm past. I just need to fix up the other side of the center part now and tame it again. I think because this one is my first, it's going to have some spots that don't look so great... but I'd planned to hide any mistakes by getting some star-shaped plastic rhinestones or scrapbooking pearls and gluing those in over any ugly spots, both to cover any thin or messed up/glue-gooped bits, but also to complete the galaxy look.

 

Haha exactly the same with me! Balding!

 

AND I finished my wig! My '15 winter head is free from her bag prison. And has her super long and heavy rapunzel wig to go.
