New thread Kivrin spam! I spent entirely too much on this outfit but I really love it so it's worth it!

 

Such beautiful kids on this page!! I've been wanting to take this family photo for a while and since it's 2/3rds KDFs it should be okay to post here I used candlelight (very carefully!) for light

Thanks, Shawnee! Most of my photos are at night these days, but with the poor light here anyway, I don't think it makes much of a difference Soon the days will be longer again!!

 

XD I know what you mean. But I think the candlelight disguises that, because it just seems like light from the candle! (Also, funny enough, I've got a candle burning right now too x3 (Caramel Pecan, omg, delicious smelling)

How much older is Selina compared to Charles and Sophy?

 

In the story, Charles is about 15 and so is Sophy. (Charis is also 15 and Felix is 14.) Selina is 18 or 19. The sizes of the dolls doesn't QUITE work out, but that's okay

Also, my candles are Pumpkin spice and Caramel apple! I blew out the pumpkin spice one after the shoot so now I just have the apple one going

 

Ah. I think the Kid delfs are a good size for those ages. They can actually be really versatile in my opinion...my Satyr Yul is 20, but my human Yul boy is 15, too. Funny because they are the same sculpt (Just one is an elf-eared), but they can pass for both ages. Then my Coco is 17, but I guess she doesn't really count because she's an anime doll :P My Lolly is 17. And Magnus is in the hundreds because he's a full centaur Prince so he doesn't count.

I'm mega missing my Nana, btw ;c I think she's the one dolly sale I actually regret. Damn. She was so pretty, but, ugh. Maybe someday I will get her again ;-;

How old are everyone else's Kid delfs?

 

I love hearing about your dolls, and the ages of them, I find fascinating! I imagine mine as mostly teens as well. My only young one is Marina, who may be about 11. (she is my Kiwi Elf event head).

Oh, that is sad about your Nana! Well, one good thing is that she is not limited so you can definitely get her again when the time is right 3 She was so cute. *hugs*

That's true. I sold her many months ago though, I don't know why I keep thinking about her now. At least the lady who bought her loves her a lot. (She was her first doll, and she told me she cried when she opened her. That made me so happy x3) I'll definitely be getting her again sometime. But probably not on a kid delf body. *Hugs back, my super nice and supportive friend ♥*

I wonder if she'd look too bobble-headed on a Minifee body.. Now I have something to search for! Kid delf hybrids xD

 

My Yul is going to be pretty old, chronologically but physically mid-twenties. The Yuz I'm planning to get eventually is only going to be about 11 or 12 physically (but again pretty ancient chronologically). He enjoys being underestimated because of his apparent age.

I've been a little quiet too. Ugh, December has been a rough month x.x But There have been good things too! I'm glad that your Nana is being loved. That definitely makes it better in a way. Also, there is a member here that has her KDFs on minifee bodies and they are super adorable!! It just takes some neck modding. There's probably a thread about it around here somewhere.

 

It definitely has </3 But you are right, and it's nice to look at the good things that have happened Christmas is only a week away! I got some presents for my dolls, but I haven't even put the tree up yet, oh gosh ;-; I want to take some cute Christmas pictures. (How adorable would Magnus look with a present bow on his little bum? XD) God, he probably hates me.

Will we be seeing any holiday pictures of your kid delfs? (Whatever holiday you celebrate!)

Oh my!! I would love to see that photo of Magnus!! Please post it!! My family celebrates Christmas, and my mom and I just set up her tree yesterday, however, I don't have any decorations at my apartment so I'm not sure how much of a Christmas photo I could manage. We shall see what comes up I may wrangle a few adornments. I think Felix likes to be embarrassed the most

Everyone's dollies are gorgeous! Here's my Luna~ I just did some changes to her backstory, I feel like we're bonding more! Yay

She's a Luts Kid Delf Darae sculpt on a romantic body~

 

My Satyresse Yul will be kind of ageless. She's the guardian of a forest and the Faerie gates to Annwn (the fae world).

Age wise Naamah, Eisheth, and Eloa are all several hundred but physically I see them as being around 13/14.

 

My Yul is very old as well xD She is over 100,000 years old but she looks like she is in her early twenties. She stopped keeping up with birthdays a long time ago so that's why she's not sure of how old she actually is, lol!

 

I think my Yul is going to be in her late teens/early twenties~ She's the "big sister" to my tinytaur, and has been taking care of her for a few years, I think. Mistral being a unicorn and Hazel being a deer, it's pretty obvious they aren't actual sisters, but I think Mistral is going to be too young to catch on to that yet~

 

I'm loving all the photos on the new thread! ^^ I'm planning on taking some winter photos with Nana in her new coat and antlers soon, so I'll post some pics when I do

 

i agree with what you all have been saying about KDF being really versatile as far as ages go. mine are 11/12 years old. but i see all my dolls as living in the same plane/universe and thay are human (except Trudy) so beside my big dolls they really can't be anything but children, i think. do any of you have human!KDF who are adults despite being just MSD compared to bigger dolls?

 

My Kid delfs are about 12 as well. I like how versatile they are. They can look like older teens and they can also look to be around 10. Depending on how they are dressed and what faceup you have on them. They also work if you want shorter dolls. I'm 5'9'' and some of my friends only come up to my chest. I have a friend that's only 5'2'' and she looks like a kid next to me. hahaha.

In with the Christmas festivites, I've gotten my tree up finally, and the little ones wanted Magnus to help them see the lights better on the tree x3

I haven't done any group shots really of my KDF crew before so ona whim I took a few quick shots of them all tonight. I think Eisheth needs a new faceup though, her current one is way too innocent looking for her character.

Yeah I think I've only posted Eisheth one or two times before, She only got a body like a month and a half ago and she's been dressed in casual clothes which I don't like for her. She was in the FDoll to LUTS body comparison photos I did since she was originally on the FDoll body before I swapped her and Eloa lol. When Eloa's new dress came in I switched her into the black one to hold her over until MoC starts selling the plum MSD fers.

 

Thank you! You can also kind of see me, but I'm wearing my boyfriend's big black jumper so I am a shadow ninja > What an adorable story! I love how many ponies you have! So cute ><

I took my Darae, Lucy, out for some pictures in the snow yesterday! I froze my butt off, and it's so difficult to get her to pose when you're wearing gloves and trying to handle tiny doll parts, but overall it went all right. This is one of my favorites. The snowflakes in her lovely hair are my favorite part.

 

She's so cute, Arotha! She's got some gorgeous hair!

 

Thanks so much! I mentioned it in one of the earlier threads, it's a custom wig I made out of alpaca fiber. (I love the little white streak and how it sneaks into every picture.) The texture is so fine and soft, it's amazing to play with. And it always looks so natural in her pictures!

Her dress, bracelet and face-up are done by me, as well. I try to save money by doing everything. ^^; She's my only doll, so she gets a lot of attention lavished on her!

 

I think that's awesome that you make everything for her. Definitely cheaper and it must be so cool to see all of your creations together on her. Makes her so unique

Hi everyone- I'm not really any good at the whole participating in threads things and am more likely to lurk buuuttt I thought I would say, "Hi!" I have recently adopted a white skin Bory girl, whose name is Aina and I am so absolutley in love with her I can't contain it. She is amazing. I am so glad I decided to get a KDF after admiring them for so long. She is currently face-up less sooo I didn't put a picture but I'm hoping to give her one soon that does her gorgeous face some justice. Thanks!!

Lemonlime, it's been awhile! Nana looks so adorable! I'm loving the sparkly eyes and those antlers are just adorable. Also that's a coat after my own heart lol~

Lemonlime, I'm in love with those antlers! Lucy has a pair as well, though they're not as.. ah, streamlined. They look very natural/woodsy, considering they're made out of sticks and moss and feathers. But yours are so charming with the flowers. They go so well with that adorable coat, too!

 

For Christmas I got this really cool macro lens thingy for my phone's lens and naturally I instantly thought, COOL DOLL PHOTOS! so here have a close up of Eloa's lips hahaha~

Zia - That camera lens is awesome! I use my phone for all my pictures, I wish I had a better one ;.;
