Who Fits What

So are teen trends sold i.e wherever barbie dolls are sold?
I've been looking around and I haven't seen any T^T
since I've been banned of buying any doll clothes online (gotta hate parents)
I'm looking for options.
Please don't tell me you have to order Teen Trend online T^T

Friends 2B made skirts just barely fit AR LFs, but are very very short. ^^* Miniskirts, if you will.

 

Sometimes very fitting items for DoD will not fit Volks MSD at all (trousers, etc.). And occasionally I've found Kid Delf trousers/jeans to be almost too tight on MSDs (they barely button).

MSDs can wear Tonner Matt clothing, some may be a little too big (e.g. the coats). Only the slimmer dolls like Narin will fit into Tonner Tyler clothing, though.

 

I have a local Target that has some Teen Trends stuff... I would bemore than happy to pick some outfits up for people who cant find em... Not sure how much they cost there, but it would be that, shipping, and 4% paypal fee. So if anyone wants - PMme.

 

As for F2BM stuff I think only the baggier pants/shorts will fit. Anything that looks fitted will probably only fit Unoa/etc.

I think adding onto that maybe a list of shoes from alternate companies that fit and what sizes to get? Like I ordered some really cute little sneakers for my boy from Tallina's ( these sneakers ) and then some little boots for a good bit cheaper than ordering from overseas.

S413 (sneakers) were size 6 and fit my DoD long legged boy well with a little bit of toe-poking, I was the only one who really noticed it. Going up to size 5 might eleminate that.

S516 (boots) size 5, and fit perfectly.

This might especially be useful since it seems the Tallina's (Antinas?) website has gone through a lot of changes and no longer lists what the sizes actually mean in terms of inches.

 

Even thought their heads are larger, so far I haven't had problems with a wig not fitting. Some need a bit of tugging/stretching, but msot wigs will fit, especially elasticized ones. I haven't tried DOD wigs yet, but I've seen an AR Dana wearing one.

 

I have a couple of Teen Trends outfits, and have found that the pants tend to be a little too tight even for DoDs, or at least the boys - it's difficult to even get them to close. They'll fit onto AR LF bodies, though they're pretty much skintight at the top. (Luckily, this is a good look for my Cien. ops: ) Everything else fits both of 'em pretty well except, of course, for the shoes.

 

Those shoes fit!? Aww I'll have to order some! Some of those are pretty cute and best of all they're cheap!! (In comparison to most shoes at least...)

 

I know that DOD's can at least wear the 6/7 Unoa wigs that Ajumapama carries. ^_^ I also have a skirt by DOD that has two snaps on it, one further away from the other so it can fit the slimmer dolls (DoD's, etc...) and the thickery ones (AR LF and possibly MSD?).

 

Let's see...this is what I've found out...

MSD Asha can wear some Friends2BMade clothes, but they're a little snug on her. She wears her OWN SIZE shoes, which I've bought through a seller on ebay. Her feet a little larger than most MSDs I guess. I haven't tried Teen Trends clothes on her yet. I have a feeling they'll be too small...

KaedeCute can wear F2BM clothes beautifully - almost a little too big - she'll be inheriting all the pants that my other minis can't wear. Still have to try these all on her. She can wear some Tonner tops and sweaters made for 16 fashion dolls in general will fit - stretchiness is always a good thing. I even got a Gene dress on her, although one snap wouldn't meet in the back.

Narae can wear Teen Trends, except the pants, which are skin tight - again, my Kaede will inherit these. She can also wear most of the F2BM tops, some of which are really cute. Most of the F2BM skirts fit, but some are a little large or a little small - seems to be little QC in terms of their sizing... Tonner tops fits - especially stretchy sweaters, etc. Matt clothes fit! (Fit Narin too!)

Shoes for Narae - so far Teen Trends fit. I'm ordering some MSD shoes for her, and will report back on those. EDIT: AlumaPama MSD shoes are too large, unfortunately. But it looks like Luts Kids shoes fit pretty well. I've measured their feet and this is what I came up with:

Kaede 2 1/8 inches (Luts MSD shoes fit her)
Narae 2 1/4 inches (Teen Trends, and perhaps Luts MSD shoes fit her - will check this)
Asha 2 3/8 inches (Only her own sized shoes fit, so far) These sandals, from Audrey's, in 66mm, fit Asha, with just the tip of her toe beyond - SO cute! :>) http://www.audreysdolls.com/item.cf...D=7&fieldnames=Kemper&subcatID=22&catalogID=2 I have a pic, if anyone needs it.

Someone told me that Unoa's foot measures 2 inches, so I don't think my Narae will be able to wear Unoa shoes. If someone knows differently, please let me know. EDIT: I've just ordered a pair of Unoa shoes from Luts - we'll see if they fit her. If not, they'll probably fit Kaede. ACK! Shoes make me crazy!

EDIT: Forgot wigs! Here's what I've found:

Asha and Kaede both wear 7/8 comfortably
Narae is a 6/7 (DollLeeke size, 6-6.5, Leekeworld wigs fit her perfectlyl)
Narin, I've been told, is a 7 (8 is too large, 6 is too small) - I'll be trying wigs today and will report back.

I have the little pink plaid one--I love it They are really short, but oh so cute. Some of the pants don't fit because there isn't enough room in the crotch to pull them up to the waist, and the bjd hips are too wide (at least that's my experience with my LF). They could probably be altered though. Hikaru started with a bunch of Friends 2B Made stuff (he's such a girly boy), since I could afford them.

 

what about the custom house little junior, aren't they msd sized too?

 

I've gotten Sonya (Kurenai SDC) two of the MSD DOD wigs, and they fit ok. They are a bit big, (I think DOD heads are a little taller/egg shaped) They stay on ok, but need a rubberband since they're not elasticized if you're doing anything more than posing. The hair is very styled on one and wants to curl around her chin and make her look werewolfy. Might need to trim it. The spikey wig I love though.

I haven't tried anything else store bought on her. There's Teen Trends at my target (hiding with the huge 18" dolls, not near the bratz/barbie stuff) for 12.99. Not her style, but an FYI to others.

Not quite but they need to be added in too as they are minis. *hearts Mars and Jupiter* They are a little smaller then regular MSD (not quite a mini but not a tiny either they fall inbetween and I like to think of them as minis) and I think finding clothes might be a bit of a problem for them so knowing what fits will help.

 

CH says they share shoes with the regular Junior Ai (probably regular MSD sizes more or less) and wigs with the Petite Ai, so I'm assuming 7 or 6/7.
Sure hope so, as I own DoD, SDC girl, and Cutie Delf, who all take the smaller sized wig, so I have too many.
And Zephyros (ver. Hakkun) is on his way to me.

Oh, Poshdoll MSD wigs are Wonderful. They have an elastic rim on the headcap & fit just about all the MSD's, including my small-head crew.

I got Noes his first Teen Trends outfit today. Specifically, I got him the Weekend Wear Courtney set with the two shirts and pants. :3

The first shirt -- A pink sweater: Fits pretty well! The arms are long enough, but it's almost too short on the waist.

The second shirt -- A blue and orange-striped collared T: Fits *perfect*. It's fairly tight, but not short in either the arms OR waist. The pocket actually works and the little buttons are adorable. It's my second favorite shirt for Noes now (the first being a Matt O'neil shirt). :3

The pants -- They fit, but they are skiiin tight. When he sits, it shows his ankle ball-joints, which is fine with me, but that may be considered too short for some.


n n If you have a Kid Delf, I highly suggest you go buy this set -- it fits super well considering it's only 12 bucks.


As for Matt O'neil -- I'm lucky enough to have a store in walking distance from my home that sells these sets, and I must say: LOVE. LOVELOVE

The outfits are *incredibly* gay, so if you're looking for cool boy things...look elsewhere. >>;; Anyway, the shirt and the pants that came in the set I purchased fit awesomely. No, seriously, it's fantastic. They're LINED and the set was 15 dollars altogether...Looove.

Can you tell I like Matt's things? XD Alright, I've rambled enough. But hopefully Kid Delf owners will benefit! !

 

Hmm...I can't really add much, as my dolls don't wear too many 'brand names', but I will say, as a general rule, clothes and wigs made for Jr. Ai will be fairly loose on regular MSD sizes. And, of course, things made for regular MSD will be fairly tight and unfitting on Jr. Ai.

 

What about 14" Betsy McCall stuff?? I saw 2 patterns on ebay that were darling for MSD oufits!!

Going the other way, Cutie Delf wigs fit DoD dolls.

Some people have better luck stretching out the wig caps for the larger-headed doll, but not me.

I know what to suggest (i do so half the time)--try to make it to a local meet-up, 'cause there might be a DoD wig that you can try on your doll.

Several of my wigs made the rounds last time I attended a meet, and looked pretty darned good on dolls I didn't expect. fwiw.

I just picked up that outfit tonight at Wal-Mart for my Ani boy who's on the way--it's so nice to walk into a store to get a vacuum cleaner belt and come out with two dollie outfits. I picked up the red and black set with the skirt/shorts for my AR Jade as well. The nice thing about the Teen Trends stuff is that they come with little accessories, so now the boys have two cell phones, an I-pod looking thing, a video camera, a totebag, a newspaper and a bottle of water.

 

The Little Juniors are tricky @.@ Wig size is 6/7,so they can share with Unoa/Sharmin/Petite Ai/Cutey Delf etc, but their shoe size is really awkward, theyre too big for Unoa or Petite Ai sizes, but MSD sizes are a little too big. My Jupiter generally goes barefoot >>;

For clothes, a lot of MSD size stuff is too big, but will stay on. I have some Luts jeans for Kid Delf that hang low on Fia's waist but they dont fall off or anything, and skirts and such will generally hang in there >>; For tops, everything just ends up looking baggy ^^; I think they can share some tops with Petite Ai though, as the difference between the two is mostly in the legs.

Are there any Leeke wigs that would fit unoas? I know the sd sized one would be too big, but would the Leeke doll ones fit? Or would they be too small?

And I know that Happy Doll have 6/7 wigs, and they have 7/8 wigs. Would the 7/8 be too big for unoas?

edit: ...and some five second detective work on Leeke Asia reveals that yes, they would. ops:

 

BIG Baby Bratz Skirts fit my KidDelf. The top was too tight. I got the set with the black and white plaid school-girl skirt.

 

i don't have a whole lot of expierence with bjd shoes. but msd sized shoes are real tight on my AR LF. i think she has wide feet? i'm not sure if this is normal or not, since i've never met any doll other than her. i have to gently tug and pull a lotto get her shoes on, and this is with out any socks. i think she streched out her dollheart shoes a little bit

 

I have a Jr. Irang (Mouse), and she wears standard MSD wigs with relatively few problems--since sizing on wigs seems to be a bit inconsistent, it's hard to tell, to be honest---sometimes a 7/8 will fit perfectly on a doll, then another 7/8 will be huge.

She fits WELL in Helen Kish Seasons doll clothing (16"), but is too big for Teen Trends and Friends2BMade. She can wear Mika's things just fine. I've also tried some Hopscotch Hill stuff on her, but it tends to be a tad too short, so if that bugs you I'd avoid it. They fit width-wise, though. Mouse is a little taller than the rest of my MSD girls, so length might be a problem on pants/gowns....I haven't had her in any pants yet.

I haven't noticed any problems with shoes not fitting, but I admit I really haven't paid attention as much there...they go barefoot a lot <G>. I'll check on it and let you know.

 

Corolle's outfits for their *Les Cheries* line fits DoD, some clothes are too short because Les Cheries are around 35+cm tall but anyway looks nice.

 

Did the glasses fit the larger dolls at all? They look so tempting, but those Babies have such giant heads... ops:

The Teen Trends outfits fit Serendipity Sharmin pretty well! The skirts and shoes fit -perfectly-. but the tops are a tad on the large side for her tiny frame.They fit her fine, just baggy. I ended up just taking them in a bit.

Next payday I'll probably buy the other outfits and see how well the pants fit. The store I was at only had 2 different outfits..but you can buy them all off Amazon.com (via ToysRus).

 

I'd like to add-on that some Dream of Doll hats don't fit Little Fair as they run too small. I know, I have one. ^^;

 

Do the Teen Trends tops fit the Kid Delf Girl bodies?

 

I've seen some Big Baby Bratz things on a T.Too DoD before... they seemed to fit well.

 

mogopuff (AmnesticAngel now) discovered that Ken (Barbie-Ken) shirts, at least the loose ones, fit her MSD quite nicely.

Both the tank top & the loose 'Hawaiian' shirt fit on my DoD Too, on Bee-a, and on Volks SDC Kurenai.

Barbie clothes are laughable, and the pants for Ken ridiculous, but at least you can get some shirts cheaply.

Ken you say? I am glad I keep an eye out here reading stuff. I just bought a Ken top and pants (hahaha but the pants came in the package). But the top looks like it might fit my Little Fair (must try it out tomorrow). And the set costed 2 bucks. Hmmm a top for 2 dollars I like it. ^-^

I don't know if we have this info, but... I see that nearly everything can deal well with MSD shoes, but do CP/Luts Kid delf shoes fit on MSD boys?

 

I've had experience with the Bratz Petz Outfits fitting Little Juniors very well.

The hats are a little large (unless you go for big floppy hats or can make them smaller like I did). Generally what comes in these sets is a jacket/vest, a messenger bag, and a hat.

I've had a couple good experiences with my Volks MSD's and the Teen Trends outfits. So far I've purchased:

Kiana's Weekend Wear (black skort with red plaid, red tank top with black trim, and black hat) - it is stretchy and fits like a glove. I like the look and it's the outfit Sorcha is wearing in my avatar. Shoes do not fit in the slightest. 4/5 rating.

Kiana's Night Out (green three-tiered skirt, black corset-y tank top, leggings) - the top fit my MSD very well, the leggings fit ok after I broke the ankle seams, and the skirt didn't fit at all. The outfit was worth it for me for the shirt and pretty necklace though. No go on the shoes. 2/5 rating.

Deondra's Weekend Wear (slashed knee jeans, white and blue top, white hat, sandal shoes) - TOO TIGHT!!! The pants were like skin on a sausage in the thighs and the booty, and the tops were like... nipple city (way way tight) The hat fit, and with some nudging the shoes fit too, with slight overhang in the back. Not reccomended for Volks dolls at -all- unless your girl likes wearing too tight clothes. 0.5/5 rating - justfor the hat, because it rocks.

Edit: Got the Deondra's Night Out set. My 'review' of it:

Deondra's Night Out (black asymmetrical skirt, pink frilly top, necklace) Fits so-so. I had a little bit of struggle getting her hands through the wrist-holes, and the skirt sits very high (almost to her waist joint) on her waist. The necklace pulls the eye away from the protruding nipples. Overall, not too bad for photos and such, Sorcha can sit in the outfit and it generally looks good. Not her style though, so you'll be seeing it in the marketplace soon. 4/5 rating, imho.

 

I just got my Tonner Matt boxers for Eiichi (AR Cien) They fit him perfectly and I love them. So does he.



Sorry he's grabbing himself. He snaped his hand away from me when I tried to move it and put it right back. *shrugs* He's got a strong mind of his own sometimes.

 

I have a Soulkid Sweeni and a Volks MSD and here is what I have found. Sweeni is a bit slimmer than my MSD. Teen Trends items fit Sweeni very well. Most of them are tight on Yuni(MSD). Hopscotch Hill clothing from American Girl fits them both very well.( except for the shoes), and the accessories are great! Some of the 14" Betsy McCall tops fit. Hats from Betsy McCall work great. Pants and skirts are generally too short, although I do have a Betsy McCall mini skirt that they can wear. Also as has been mentioned Tonner's Matt Oneill tops work great and even the sneakers can work with a little prodding. They are tight, but I got them on. I also have a Boyds Bear christening gown that fits Sweeni great. Friends 2B made stuff I have found is hit or miss. Most tops fit, but the pants are definetely too tight as are most skirts, but I did find 2 skirts that fit Sweeni. Elastic waist things such as the Pj's are really cute on them both.

 

Just a quick question of clarification: Friends 2 B made shoes fit DOD, or just the clothing?

 

Thanks Kayley for the Sharmin information. The TT tops are rather loose, but do-able. Also for ALice/Sharmin the Tonner Tyler clothing fits great, if tightly. The sleeves are short in the fitted gowns etc, but overall a wonderful fit. The Ashton-Drake Gene things will not fit except for the sweaters. Gene has a very tiny waist compared to Tyler and much bigger chest. I understand that some of the Franklin Mint things will fit as well, although I can't vouch for them personally. No clue about the pants fit on any of the lines. None of the shoes will fit poor Violetta's long toesies. Poor dear, she's just like me.

 

Just the clothes. The shoes are these weird fat footed stuffed things. We gave a pair of the tennis shoes to our dogs. THey loved them and promplty destuffed them and flung the filling all over the livingroom.

 

So does anyone know how Custom House clothes fit on a Volks MSD? There are some cute clothes there but I'm unsure if they'll fit my MSD Myu.

Ok so I coudlnt find this on here (Im sorry if I missed it) does Kid delf shoes fit DoC's? I was measuring my girls foot and I htink they woudl but I dont want to order anyuntil i am sure they will.

 

What about Dollmore Kids?

 

I got one of the black and white striped mini-fee sweaters from Luts, and it fit my kid delf boy just fine. Its cut a bit wide in the sholders, so it has a more "grown up guy" look than a little kid look. Closely fitted clothing probably wouldn't work as well.

 

I'd really appreciate it if someone could compile a little chart for the Serendipity dolls (like Sharmin~).

If not, maybe I'll be brave and go out and try Dae-seong in some. ^ ^;;
