My elf version Berry has been dispatched! I have an elf Yul and I plan for them to be twins. So excited and will post pictures when he finally arrives!

 

I was waiting until a new thread got started to share my new luts boy~ He's a 2013 Winter event boy named Kai



He actually matches my 2012 cherry! I was actually really surprised by that since my Cherry was my first doll, I was honestly expecting him to yellow even a little haha

 

Wow, a new thread already? But then again, I haven't posted in a while, haha.

I got my first mohair wig, and I was so pleased with it that I immediately went and bought another, oops!
I've been struggling on a character for her (both sculpts rejected my ideas when they arrived) but right after I put the wig on, I knew exactly who she's meant to be. Now I just need to make a proper diorama, haha. I want to stop taking portrait shots, but I've got nowhere good to take pictures.

You guys, I finally have the faceup done for my brown resin LUTS Kdelf Corni! I'm so excited that I have to share the image that Angeltoast shared with me.



I'm going with a heavy tiger theme for this girl (her name is Parysatis ). I never would have imagined that Corni would be such a versatile sculpt!

Anyway, I have a new girl to introduce to you! Her name is Paige. And she's a Winter Event head 2013!
She has no body of her own yet, so Paige is still borrowing MNF and TF bodies for the mean time. I'm planning to get her a body soon.

 

So many beautiful dollies here! Kalhirst, your Corni is my absolute favorite out of all of the ones I have seen. Amazing faceup! I'm growing restless waiting for my Carrot. I'm ready for her to be home!

 

Hi everyone, I am almost finished paying off an order for a Luts KDF Zuzu Corni with type 1 romantic body. I wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can find clothing to fit this type of body? This is only my 3rd BJD, never owned a Luts doll before! lol...my other two dolls are an Illustion Spirit and a SoulDoll kid. Both are MSD size, but very different bodies... Thanks for any info!

 

Almost finished paying off my first Kid delf too!! KDF Mango. I'm hoping the clothes I have laying around will fit for now.

Ashley, the romantic body is basically MSD Size. The only thing you'd have to watch out for is that things tight around the chest may not fit exactly right. When you are hunting, you can type in "MSD clothes" "MSD Dress" "MSD outfit"... just make sure that you're not buying a SLIM MSD outfit because that will be too small. Good luck

Hi! After lurking here for a long time and admiring everybody else's cute dolls I've finally something to show. I bought a KDF Ani from ebay about 18 months ago. I must say that she was a big disappointment at first. The seller listed her as new and I was newbie so I didn't ask her any more questions. When she arrived she was rather yellowed and really floppy. I ordered her a grey mohair wig from Etsy but the fit was awful so she's been in her box until now. Finally got some inspiration and took her apart, cleaned, restrung her and made her a dress. I know now where to get her a new wig that'll fit. Until then she's using this one - I rather like the color on her. It's a wig I got when I bought another doll ( and it's not me that has cut the uneven bangs)

 

Everyone has such cute KDFs! I can't wait until all the new arrivals (especially the Pegasus').

Elin369 - I'm sorry that happened happened to you. Your Ani is lovely though, and I love the dress you made!

Kalhirst - Whoa, Parysatis' faceup is amazing! I can't wait to see her all put together.

Thank you both, duskblue and Aliyahbetd. I've never been into fairy kei until Izzy. When she arrived she had a clear idea of what she was willing to wear and what she was not so I had to start hunting stuff down and am still in the process of getting her stuff. If you guys find any good spots for fairy kei stuff I would love to know about it!

Her outfit is a miss match of stuff. Her hoodie is from CyristineCreations on etsy I just got over a week ago. The tutu actually fits horribly on her, would probably be better on a tiny in fact, and is a Build a Bear SmallFrys tutu. Its so short that to make it look okay I actually had to place it almost to her knees. Good thing the hoodie is long.

If you need something a little more reasonably priced I am so in love and awe with Poinsettia04 on etsy. I just got my order on Saturday and I can not stop drooling over her shirts. I plan on placing another order with her as soon as I can. Here is Yukito (who has joined Izzy in demanding Fairy Kei stuff, sigh) in one of the 3 shirts I got from her.

 

Fall is already starting to set in, but...

I've been dying to work on Hazel and post more of her, but I've been so busy lately I haven't touched any of my dolls for at least a month! About half of my crew is still naked and they're starting to grumble with fall on its way~

I admit I'm generally looking for them. I know a lot of borytaurs, satyros and pegassi were purchased. The last ones are only getting shipped out slowly now, but the others... *pokes owners*

BerryPeachy - Thanks! It took some time to get her together but I really love her now.
I just wished I had more time to make dollie clothes. The construction and reworking of the patterns take so much time and effort that I most of the time loose the inspiration.

 

Is anyone else having photobucket problems? I found one of their old editors available as an online app and was playing with it.

And I agree about the 'taurs. I unfortunately couldn't afford one so I must simply drool over everyone else's.

 

ShadowMist, I understand that totally. I have a pegasus coming my way, but the only way I was able to afford it was by putting it on the longest layaway possible, so while I will eventually have my own to indulge in and share pictures of with everyone, for many, many months to come, I will be sitting here with you, drooling over everyone else's.

And Snowy, I agree with everyone that Maloki is awesome. He's pretty much the only 'taur I've seen in the thread that has a centaur-specific costume custom made for him that isn't a Luts default.

Pity my friend isn't on DoA. I made her Yul a custom outfit as well and just recently saw a pic of him wearing it *0* He's so cute (black-white themed)

Here's mine! But you can't really see his deer legs.

I made clunky pumpkins and derpy lollipops for his hat.
None of it is glued down yet except for the ribbon thing, but now he finally looks Halloween-ish like he's supposed to.
Just waiting on his outfit that I don't get until November or something.

My friend did the faceup because I was too lazy and he wanted to have a go at it, I told him to put whatever marking he thought would work on it.
I made the pumpkins like this out of somewhat old Crayola Model Magic since I just had it lying around. The lollipops are just really old orange+Glow-in-the-dark clay following this tutorial but I used 5 "snakes", didn't really bother with measurements then just shoved them onto painted toothpicks. Close enough I say! :U
I may try to make candy corn pieces if I get clay in those colors and my fingers can make something that small.

It's been quite a while since I last posted a picture of my girl Olette. She's changed a lot, and I have even more changes planned for the future. When I get the funds I plan on swapping out her romantic body for the MDF body. It looks so nice, and it will help with the fact that she's suppose to be an older teen and not a child!

No,Mysteriousmage it's clearly taken from the CELTIC myth of the KELPIE which if you read about normally takes the form of a horse(thus the horse legs) and always has a wet mane and then drowns women whom are foolish enough to hop on it's back and then eats them (celtic myths are rather bloody) It's also clearly a shape shifting being.

Anyway as someone who has been wanting a celtic doll since forever(damn i even asked the soom lady at dollism to do Welsh and other culture inspired dolls and now kelp comes out) i'm so wanting him badly..-is have bad doll lust-I may have to beg my BF for him.. Christmas is coming up.

But... to be honest, I'm not too fond of what I'm seeing. This Kelp looks way too good and ... bright colored.
When I think of Kelpies I think of dark colors. Dark blue, black, dark green, greys... more of that color sheme.

Ughhh those legs are amazing on Kelp!! It looks like an MDF body, though :/ Either way, I have no money right now so I won't be ordering, but am excited to see more pictures and when he comes in *-*. Totally love the blue theme.

The thing I like most about Kelp right now are those body tattoos. I haven't seen Luts do many of those over the years. They look pretty great.

I'm sort of glad they're not releasing them in yosd size because that is the size I mostly collect fantasy dolls for, and I would be HUGELY tempted.. My MSD characters are all human and I already told myself I would never buy a fantasy MSD character... lol.

How long do you think it'll be before they release more photos? I'm not into fantasy/animal parts, but I really like this one. The whole package is just so beautiful! But I need to see the head....and those look like human ears to me (total deal-breaker....I want elf ears.).

yup, just grab the foot with the s hook and remove foot from s-hook and put new foot on s-hook
