I thought even though I don't have any new pictures I would post one of favorites from my last shoot

oh wow the cuteness overload! Lovely pics everyone - I'm glad they started a new thread Today I swapped out the default eyes on my Yul deertaur, Ellie, which took some deciding - I went with some natural coloured ones in the end as she's got a natural look I guess - not really thought about it much yet. I decided to throw some YOSD sized clothing on her (from etsy - poinsettia04 dress and yukijiro apron) as I don't have any midi-sized stuff (no really - I am not collecting midis - haha, now up to 5 including Ellie!) BUT....I really like it! I think she'll be keeping this 'outfit' for a good while

Still unsure if I get any chance to order Corni. But I'm not gonna die if I can't. I know there will be a lot of other KZDFs in the future. And they might even have paws if the first release don't.

Um.. am I the only one who find everyone else's dolls much cooler than my own. Everyones dolls look so cool and got so cool outfits. I always feel my dolls are so incomplete

 

You'll get a chance. If you'll look, both Corni and Lio are listed under 'unlimited'. So, even if the outfits are limited, the dolls won't be. You should be able to order her whenever you're ready to.

Also, I'm weird when it comes to outfits for my dolls. No matter whether I buy a full outfit or put together an outfit out of individual pieces that I have, I have to find or buy a pair of shoes that matches the outfit, accessorize with hairbows/head ornaments/hats, jewelry, bags, and other miscellaneous things, and THEN I generally style the wig in a way that suits the outfit. (Which is why my Lolly's default wig is so great. I can style it pretty much any way I want. The wig she's using now is limited to pigtails, braids, and maybe twin buns, which is unfortunate, but I love the color on her, and she wears twin french fishtail braids about 90% of the time anyway, so it isn't that big of a deal.) Actually, speaking of such instances, I have a dress that I bought over a year ago that I absolutely love on her, but haven't had her wear because I didn't have a pair of shoes to go with it. I finally joined a group order and bought the shoes that I'd been eyeing since then last week, so this summer she's finally gonna get to wear that damn dress.

Oh, and that outfit she's in up in that picture? I'd only gotten it that morning so I hadn't really accessorized it yet. She's wearing it now with a pendant choker and a white cape.

 

That's great! I did not notice Origially I have been wanting to order a KDF An. Outfit and hair for Corni I don't care so much about.

Haha putting together outfits is difficult. But I like school uniforms very much so that makes it a bit easier.


I am still thinking about ordering a KDF An. The company pictures is horrible and he is so unpopular that strangely I get drawn to him. I asked Luts if it is possible to see some unpainted An pictures before I decide. I just want to bring this boy who desperately need some love home and make him into the coolest boy ever

I hope they can show me some pictures. I need to know if it is right for me to order him. But probably I'll order him anyway. I keep feeling like bringing him home Idk if that is weird or what

 

I have a KDF Kiwi I am very fond of, though I still am thinking about getting a Nana and Ttori!
And cause I can't resist a picture spam of Tári my Kiwi!

 

You know, I'm pretty sure the two KZDFs are unlimited. It didn't say the were limited on the site...

Thank you! I did make it~ It's a yarn wig and they're pretty simple to make, just really time consuming, it usually takes me 2-3 days to make one.

So many cute new pictures When seeing all those cute Yul girls pass bye it makes me even more excited to complete my own. I am waiting for a body now and I know which wig I want but I have to wait for the person who makes them to be finished moving but at least all the pieces are slowly coming in. At least I have an outfit for her That is the advantage of having multiple MSDs

 

More pictures is up of Corni and Lio. And you can get two types of basic face-ups for both

But I really hope Luts can make a little bit of claws on the hands and feets later some time just to make them a little bit more anthro like. Animal characters look best with claws I think.

 

I don't know if I should or should not order An anymore. Maybe It was just this crazy idea I got. This fun project to turn him from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. Idk.. But I did get drawn to the sculpt for a long time and still kinda do. Also because he is a less popular sculpt. I sometimes fall for the less popular ones for a reason

But there is another KDF boy sculpt that have just ended up on my wish list after a visit to DA. Maybe I should just start thinking about him first.

 

Oh I'm finished now, I have moved from thinking I might get Lio to I'm definitely getting him. I wonder if they will add a clothing/wig option in or if you will just order them separate. Definitely going to keep watching the site today for more updates

And my Carrot should ship next week according to luts, can't wait to get Sophia home and take lots of pictures /o/.

I've been scouring around trying to figure out where else to get some MSD clothes for our kid delfs here.
the thread link in the front page is a bit outdated... x3 I'm thinking we need to revamp.. Anywyas.

Where do you guys normally buy clothes for your Kid delfs? We've hit up dollmore, and I know they fit relatively well. It's usually hit and miss with pants but I know it usually fits fine.. ANNND Pretty sure I know I can get nine9.. But where else should I look?

 

Fate - I got a bunch of leggings & stockings from mybayer2008 on eBay that fit really well. The skirts and hats from violetheavensky on eBay also fit, but the top I have from her is too big (though it fits well enough for an intentionally-oversized look). I also have tops, leggings, and stockings from RustedCouture on Etsy that are great.


Rusted Couture top, mybayer2008 leggings, & she came with the shoes (maybe Dollmore?).

I bought the 'little flower outfit' from Dollhouseshop on etsy for my Yul girl to be I got her some pretty white shoes with white and pink flowers on them too. Her eyes and deerhorns are on the way, the body should arrive in a month or so... The only thing she`ll need is a face-up and a wig! The dolly fun started long before the doll is here - funny and a bit scary. What if that means that I dress her and then be done with her? Maybe I should challance myself by finally making a background for the pictures - and use it with her?

 

My sister bought some things from mybayer2008, though not outfits.. Good to know they fit! And that their obviously good to buy from~ I usually had ordered my doll stuff from mimiwoo [I think?] on ebay since I'm usually unsure on who to trust. Ebay is tough. I can sew, but everything is pretty basic in that aspect, so looking to at least treat them to some good clothing. xD

I'm surprised such an elaborate faceup is not limited, that makes me happy! And happy they aren't fullsets. I'm quite shocked that I adore Lio! He's such a cutie! And I love both faceups on the Corni. But Lio, wow I'm shocked that he is a must have for me.

 

Hi I just took these pics of my KDF Romance Yul and my KDF Masaka to show off the soom paws I put on him. I would love it if you guys could give me some feedback on how they look. I'm going to have them blushed to match real skin brown to match my Leo when I get him.

 

Yurikun, I think they look good. They are big enough and not too big. But what we think does not really matter, how do you feel about them?

 

Thank you I think they look really cute.i didn't feel they looked awkward on him but I just wanted to know if others thought they looked as good as I thought they did. I can't wait to order him I wanted my kitties to have paws.

 

I'm not really that surprized about the face-up. They have something to celebrate now that they can finally release they're new Zuzu line Could also be they want to give they're customers the best. Hope they will continue do great face-ups for the future KZDFs as well. Love it that they have a type A and B face-up option. Would not mind if they did that for more of they're dolls also

I've also started liking Lio now. I don't know if I should choose Corni or Lio first. Probably should go for Corni first though Or if I should dare order An or if I should go for Almond instead Luts is really making it difficult!

And I have not had the chance to order my HDF Pie and SDF Frey yet because Luts always release so many amazing dolls. Right now I have no idea what doll I want to order next..

I'm more a talker than a picture poster. But here is a picture of my girl Nelly She does not have any eyelashes because I don't dare to glue any on my self. Maybe oneday I'll have someone help me. But for now I like her as she is.

She have such chubby little hands. She's on the old single jointed girl body. I don't have any other KDF girls so I have no idea if the newer girls have the same chubby hands as she does.



I can't wait to give her some new friends. She's the tomboy type and I think KDF Almond would be the perfect friend for her. I'm really thinking about getting him. But I'm also starting to like B type Lio a lot. Just gotta figure out what doll to order next.

So, I asked in the MNF thread, but they suggested I was more likely to get results here, so: Has anyone done a recent KDF head/MNF body hybrid? I know that with some finagling, the head fits, but how is the resin comparison nowadays? If anyone has any newer (or older) KDF/MNF hybrids to share, I'd be much obliged.

 

I think the only one I know of recently is that one girl with the two red heads... Mina and Evie? (I think? It's been a long time since she's posted in one of the KDF threads.) She's definitely done a far, far more recent KDF/MNF hybrid than what's linked to in the first post.

Oh, though speaking of Minifees, I've found recently that my type 1 romantic girl fits pretty well into any MNF clothing that has a little stretch, laces up, or is otherwise slightly adjustable. It's given me some more clothing options than I originally thought I had.

 

Eep! I didn't like Corni at all until I saw Faceup B. I'm going to have to be good and go sit on my hands. So cute!!

 

I don't have a mnf body yet so I can't speak to the hybridizing, but I can do a normal skin resin comparison for you when I get home later today~

In other news, I finally got to open my Yul last night! She is so gorgeous! I was really worried because I've been thinking of finding a new head for her as I thought her cheeks were a bit too big for my tastes, but once I unboxed her I was utterly smitten~ She looks just perfect for my little Hazel and I can't wait to do her face-up! I'll post a picture of her later, once I've had a chance to clean them up a bit~

 

*Sob* I wasn't strong enough to wait, I just ordered Lio with his pretty colourful face up and outfit on layaway. I'll decide on a wig and shoes for him later when he's closer to being payed off. He was just too perfect for a character I had in mind for the same story/world idea for Sophia.

I don't know what I'll do with the event head, but it's a nice bonus. a I didn't get it with a faceup since I wasn't too crazy about the one on the website. It was cute but it didn't grab me.

I'm still waiting on eyes for her, but I'm totally in love! I'd been contemplating finding a new head for her as I didn't really care for Yul's puffy cheeks, but as soon as I put her wig on I knew she was staying just as she is~

Boussole she looks GORGEOUS!!! Love her in that colour - I've not put the antlers on mine as I just couldn't be bothered fiddling around with them - but they looks fantastic with that wig and all

I've had a wig dilemma today myself too - got another one in the mail but I just cannot decide which I prefer on her? Any opinions gladly received!

 

Thanks elve~ I was worried the wig wouldn't look right on her; all of my photoshop mock-ups just looked weird, so I'm really glad it turned out cute! I love that wavy braided wig on your girl~ You can see her ears nicely with it.

 

elve, I like the wavy texture of the second, but I think the bangs are cut way too high. Is it possible to shift the wig, so that the ends of the bangs are closer to her eyes?

Mizukichama this is my problem - it is a YOSD size wig! I already have one wig like this (from fa-tiao on ebay) and it fits my midi dz Flora, and my dz dragon (tiny) so I bought this wig for the dragon, but the braids are closer together on it - in fact it looks more like a 5-6 than a 6-7 wig - So this is why the bangs/fringe are so short on it It is a gorgeous wig though - I love fatiao's 1/6 size wigs, and can usually stretch them to fit a midi too

 

The Yuls are so pretty, I kinda feel I wish I had one. You're very lucky! What is the color of her lower body?

If Luts Ever do a Yul faun I might be in trouble I keep loving Yul more and more everytime I see owner pictures. Your girl is so cute even without face-up. I would never be able to choose between the two wigs. They look both great. But with the wig without bangs she looks a bit more mature.

 

It's the Deep Orange color they made especially for the Yul Satyresse~ It looks beautiful in person! I'm going to try and get some more pictures in natural light this weekend.

 

She's beautiful and love the color I'm really feeling jealous of Yul owners now.. Hope Luts will continue making lots of KDF centaurs in the future

I'm not quite sure what to do with my Borytaur now. I kinda regret not ordering him with gold fantasy parts. The blue parts is starting to bother me a bit. And all the blue and green to. I'm going to have to send some dolls for face-ups sooner or later anyway, so I'm thinking about getting him a complete makeover. I have no plans of selling him but I don't like his style much.

 

They are very time consuming. I was hoping you'd bought it somewhere so I wouldn't have to make one hahaha! I made one for a doll of mine, it took quite a bit. But it sure makes a lovely effect.

I will be making that that has golds and whites for my Yul.

From the company pictures I bet most people did not think KDF An could be pretty. Well you thought wrong if that's what you thought



I managed to look past the horrible company pictures. I wanted so badly to give this guy a chance. And Luts were able to find a face-up An picture for me. I was shocked to see how hot this little guy actually look!! I'm now on a quest to make this sculpt more popular

And here you can see a little something I'm working on. This is the character drawing for my An boy. He is going to be in RSLT and have a cool colorful face-up with pink and bluegreen.


Not to be rude but I am working hard on his style. If you happen to end up wanting an An to after this, this char idea is taken

I'm gonna have to order him as soon as possible now. There is no doubt anymore

 

On a Yul related note, is anybody else experiencing extreme joint wobbliness with their Yuls? I restrung Amaranth today, and even with tight strings (man it was painful to get them on), she is having trouble posing because her joints move pretty freely back and forth. Doe this mean I should suede the joints? I'm intimidated to do so.
