New thread spam of my beloved Ariel boy---out of all my dolls, he's still one of my favorites!

Oh, those lips look AMAZING! I wonder if other color combos could be achieved on a doll with a similar result. Imagine orange! Or electric blue! Ugh, so many outrageous possibilities.

Oh my... Has anyone checked Resinsouls webpage???? They have new yosd dolls.. They are centaurs... Do you think that means MSD centaurs will be next??

Ooh they have centaurs now?! ...Oh I hope that it does mean there are plans to come out with MSD sized centaurs, I'd love to have one.

The new dolls are actually cervitaurs everybody. Centaurs have the bodies of horses; Cervitaurs have the bodies of deer. So these dolls have a short tail and antlers. They're really awesome though, and I especially like Spring. By the way, I'm going to be ordering my RS Mei pretty soon but I'm having trouble finding either clothes to buy for her or patterns that will fit her size. Any suggestions or links? Her style is most likely going to be something combining girly, frilly, fantasy and whimsical type stuff.

Ohh that would be awesome if you could find the link, Alchemist's Fire! I'm still uncertain wether I should order just one or two pairs of hands for my girl. Nyxy: I've always dreamed about a really dark skinned woodland-y type of girl, so the dark tan and Yao's body was a given. I seem to gravitate towards cute, big-eyed faces , so either Pixie or Qing was my choice. I think I'll go for Qing this time around and get Pixie the next time. I envision a very dark, curly wig and dark eyes with glossy lips and dark finger nails.

Working out their stories is a huge part of the fun! I'm curious about her, so I thought I'd ask.

 

Definitely!!! I do know she's carrier of souls for the afterlife for her story that I do have so far. But I'm so flattered you like her faceup and are curious of her! I'm shy around here so I don't talk much.

 

Plucifer, that is a fascinating faceup! What a brilliant take on a Yao...it evokes a dia de los muertos sugar skull but in an animal skull way. You just know there has to be a fascinating story in there somewhere.

 

oh gosh you just made my day! I've always loved sugar skulls and have been fascinated with the holiday since back when I lived in southern california. So, I definitely took influence! I'm glad it was noticed! I also really wanted to try and add depth to the sugar skull by making it cracked and ragged like an animal skull.

 

I agree with what PoeticSoul said. You should definitely post more about her and any other dolls you have. I love the concept you have going for her.

UUUUF!! MSD jointed hands T_T OMG want... I've always said I wanted a centaur doll and if RS was able to make a nice one... I'd be in heaven. My bank account would scream for mercy but I'd be happy. Centaurs... Or proper mermaid tails... T_T I'd die.

Has anyone had problems with the catch on the knees of their Sui? Marius broke off the catch in his "top" knee on his right side and I can't find the parts to glue them back on and I'm a bit lost about the whole thing. IDK how it even happened so I'm really flustered.

Pretty much. I got lucky and spotted Vervaine's head on the MP a couple years ago and snapped her up. The seller had her as a whole (boy) doll, but I had plans for her to be a girl and didn't need the boy body and they were nice enough to just sell me the head (I would have bought the whole doll, just to get my hands on the headsculpt, but thankfully it didn't come to that)

I finished Xeswite's resinsoul body, it's the one I dyed with idye poly. His arms are wings. He is supposed to be somewhat crusty and old looking.

Wow, that's amazing SteamWitch...that body is truly fascinating! It's so antique-looking and worn in a good way. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this is going.

I still have a Iruhi head, but I haven't gotten her body yet, haha. So I have her in a box so it doesn't yellow more than it would need to. I've thought of selling it, but I just wouldn't be able to part with her, because I just love the sculpt so much.

I think I saw mention of there maybe being a sale for Resinsoul's anniversary in.... October was it? If so, how much off are RS' s sales usually? I need a body for my floating Jun head but I'm rather strapped for cash this year.

 

Congrats on owning Juniper for a year! A wonderful milestone, for sure.

And I'll have to go check out TNT Doll Clothing now...

roterwolkenvogel Yes, I did. I always make all of stuff for my dolls.Except for eyes, and some wigs. Made something and running to take a picture of it. Haha... Yeah! I am not a "playing" type of doll-lover ...

Hmm, I'm not sure if I have shared my Song. I don't have anything proper for his character but he's still so cute! Everything he has on is borrowed from my other boys. I can't wait to start spoiling him and get his customization going.

@gaiboiozz - Thanks you! I was really worried about the coffee tan because it can look different in photos and wasn't sure what to expect. I really love the color. My next Resinsoul will be some sort of gray. Not sure who that will be yet though. Your boys are so adorable.

@PoeticSoul - Thanks, and yeah me too. I've had him for a couple months and haven't been able to do anything because I'm moving to a different state. Most of my dolls are all packed and ready to go. I don't like being with out them.
