Hi Riku LIN - Yes it is the moon white . in person, it's definitely a lighter tone of grey, seems neutral without heavy undertones of green or purple.

Hi lynxie - oh! the clear ones were so neat! I really waffled on that point, especially since Yunchi had the LED ones LOL but in the end did the same colour. can't wait to see what you do with him and with dye!

for bodies, I too wanted a lanky look, but I guess we'll be playing body salon to see what works. I've got DZ's 68 in white and black, and the winged one, so they were on the list first, and from there I'll be able to tell if i need to go bigger/taller or what i guess.
there's enough fringe around the neck, I'm hoping it might hide a neck adapter if the gap is huge.

is there a particular body you were thinking of for yours?

Reminds me grey from Doll Chateau, I have an event pet in grey and it looks like that DZ moon white.

 

@Riku LIN - the only DC grey i have is from 2019 and it's definitely darker and green toned. I'm not sure if they changed the value & tone over time and new ones are different now. Do you think Dream Valley grey is still the same as DC/DZ ?

I hope the moon white is what you need! i think it's a really nice grey though, I'm glad it's neutral.

Grimalkin, my DC pet is Hugin cat from 2017 (just checked it) , idk if they changed gs skintone or not, but that cat grey looks like your dz moon white. Very light grey, tbh I was very surprised to see gs skintone like this. I have a lot of gs bjds, but this is veeery light as a grey skin. I have DV dragon in grey, he looks like usual/normal grey, but not like dz moon white for me. But idk how looks DZ grey irl, I have only in ws and one ns (very old LE).

Yep, that moon white looks like Messmer's skintone in game. Now I want to see him more fast T^T

@Grimalkin - Just wanted to thank you for that photo - excellent comparison, and the sculpting on those heads is gorgeous! Please do share pics when you try them on bodies!

And the detail on the new wyvern is beautiful too. If I hadn't already had plans on another doll this month I'd have pounced on it just because of that.

 

Possibly LS's Black Dragon (but I'll be trying the head on my LS73 to see if I like the height), or their Tao Tie beast body. I'm okay with modding a body to be more draconic too, so I'll test some things around. I'm not super into tall dolls (heavy! Take up a lot of space!) but the dragons were too perfect to pass up. Can you take a picture of it on a 68 body? I'm interested to see how it looks proportion wise!

 

he would look pretty sweet on the beast body of LS black dragon the mods sound like a fun project! most bodies get shared in my crew, so I keep considering if i can get spare parts to swap in for certain characters to have some specific looks or tattoos etc...

Sure, I'll take some pics of him on the DZ 68 and I have a LS73 that had the neck modded for smaller Soom heads I can try him on if you want, but I have to string that one first. .
might be over the weekend to get them done, so you might get yours by then LOL mine only took 7 days to get here this time!

also, don't be surprised - the boxes for the heads are the MSD sized doll box! after unwrapping I was able to put all 3 heads in one box though

Hello everyone!
I just ordered the new 1/4 uncle style male body from Dollzone.
Since I saw it I decided that it was what I was looking for and yesterday I placed the order through Legenddoll.
It is 45cm without head, about 51cm with 1/4 head, and has a mature look, like the uncle sized bodies. In fact, it is the reduced version of the 73cm male body from Dollzone. Another thing I like is that it has an "anime" style, with very long legs and a narrow body at the waist and hips, but with wide shoulders and without being too muscular.
It is just what I needed for my floating head and I am very happy to have found it.
Also, it is now on sale at a discount at both Legenddoll and Alice's Collections.

 

Here is the Link to Mr. Loong dragon on a LS73 in the hybrids photo refs. If anyone else has one incoming, or Yunchi once he's out with a hybrid please feel free to add other bodies. I'd love to see them on different styles of bodies than I have as well.

Did anyone get him on the newer DZ 70/73 or 75? I'd sure like to see owner pics of those too

@Grimalkin omg thank you so much!! He looks fantastic. This cinches it for me, I think I'm gonna save up and be on the lookout for Loongsoul's Black Dragon (or try to order it from their site if they really do have some in stock).

My Mr. Loong head is still in transit, but I'll dig out my RGM68 body and post some pictures of how he looks in that when he arrives.

I folded and ordered few days ago Moon fullset. I was considering getting just the body&head because of the waiting time difference, but I actually liked his faceup and the fullest pieces, so thought might go for it in the end... and now I have to prepare myself mentally for the looong wait

So after a year ... and then some lmao, my Vampire Mr. Leung finally arrived! I do genuinely love him and he's a great as I thought he would be but, I have to say this is probably my last Dollzone or my last time going through a dealer. xD

 

My Jellyfish man has been shipped after only 4 months! (ordered 29/04). I'm going to have fun sewing for him when he arrives because I don't currently have a 70cm doll – all my taller dolls are 65 or 73cm

 

That's exciting! I ordered from dde so I'm probably 1-2 months off but good to know their getting done on Dollzone's end

 

@Vimes From what I saw in the forums and this waiting room, 4 months seemed about the average time for a blank doll, so I'm glad he's coming on schedule even with the special translucent light resin head and transparent hands. I really have to thank Alice for letting me order him via layaway through her with the special options and matching DZ's event price because he wasn't displayed on her website

 

I ordered a fullset Xiao Chu yesterday. I was a little uncertain about getting a doll with a head sculpt in a anime-ish style, but I loved his outfit and face-up so I decided to give it a try.

It seems Mr Jellyfish is coming in 2 boxes because I have 2 tracking numbers...maybe 1 for the body and 1 for the head?
Either way, they both have the same ETA: this Thursday

 

He has arrived, and yes he came in 2 boxes: one for the head and another for the body. I'm really impressed with the head – there's some articulation in the bell/jellyfish body and each tendril segment is articulated! Still getting used to the body because this is my first doll with peanut joints like this, but I had a lot of fun posing him last night

 

For anyone else waiting on the Devil Tarot cats/skeleton girls, I got the notice from Alice today that my blank moon white girl shipped. \o/ Still waiting on my Yunchi head tho!

Anyone have any experience on ordering through Legend Doll?
I ordered an Evan through them in early April and I'm still waiting on a shipping notification.
Hoping I get one soon, seeing everyone else's coming in got me all antsy, lol!

 

I personally love them. You can usually expect next day replies unless they're really busy. Not gonna lie. I had an 80 cm doll show up without a shipping notification, so it wouldn't hurt to send an email. They send the dolls out pretty quick after the get them though.

 

Thank you! And yeah, I've ordered a doll from them before, different company though. I suppose I'll try to email them if I don't hear anything by the end of the month, hopefully they'll at least be able to get me an estimate on how much longer I'll be waiting. Thank you again for the response!

 

I've finally complete my order for my 1/4 Nana from alice collection! She's moongrey skin with the "heart" body (B45017 I think...)
I'm so excited! I really don't know how many time it should take... dollzone's waiting time seems to be imprevisible (3 months to over a year !?) . I think a blank doll shouldn't take this long but it's a particular skin tone so it may be a little longer than usual, isn't it...?

 

I just put myself on the waiting list twice! Once for White Snake—who AC isn’t officially carrying, because they cannot do free shipping on that massive snake body, but are willing to order, and once for Dollzone light, who is entirely too beautiful for me to pass him up.

 

I caved and ordered the Light fullset... I just can't resist a doll with wings! Now to try and forget about him until he ships....

LOL, right? Light will be a reshell for a character I have (the one in my profile pic, no less0. I'm trying to busy myself with shopping for clothes, since the largest doll I have now is a 68cm and I doubt any of the clothes will fit. On the bright side, it means I can reshell another character into that body!

 

Oooo I do love a good re-shell!! And that’s so fair, I should probably also start obtaining clothes for my guy as well, because he’s one of the taller guys in my collection, and I have nothing that suits his character!

My Lupin the Third shell can finally be completed with the Dollzone body so I'm really excited (his head is technically off topic) but he has a really fun look to him and I'm really excited to get him home

I love the body he's in now, but it's too muscular and not tall enough, plus is lacking the wings. I figure his boyfriend will get his old body, so it's a net positive! (Eventually I'll work on the the novel about them, but finding the time is.... hard, haha.) Do you have a character set for your Light when he comes in?

 

Love that his boyfriend gets the body--there's something kinda poetic about that!! Also love the idea of a human/angel dark academia boy!

My light is from my rewrite of the lords of hell from DnD. Eventually I plan to run a campaign set in the Hells, and so I'm fleshing out characters from there. He's one of the Lords--a fallen angel who came down in a mass exile event--who used to be one of the most beautiful people in creation. He and his twin sister were separated in The Fall. His sister did not end up in a good situation because of some drama with her lover, but he took power over a plane and went looking for her. Which lead to declaring war on the king of hell, which lead to getting cured to turn into increasingly eldrich monstrosities. One of the quests for my players is to get him on their side by breaking the curse, and making him look like himself again. DZ light is his "true form" underneath the curse!

Has anyone else received the Tarot Devil cat (or human) recently? seems like my order is a little stuck, I thought it was delayed by an outfit set I combined on the order, but I just got those separately.

 

I just got notification that my Shadow is ready to be shipped! Purchased July 29th...I wasn't expecting him for a while. Alice told me the box was big...I just wonder how large it is...

Oh wow, I wasn't expecting him until April at the earliest. That's good to hear, I placed mine a day before yours but in black resin so I expect it'll be another month at least.

 

I ordered in white skin. I think the dragon looks best in black, but I didn't have extra funds for the black resin at the time. I'm excited though. I might do a metalic blue blush for an icy white look.

@lynxie Oooh! You have to show me the black resin when you get yours!

 

@middletails - the resin colour was a massive part of my waffling i really love the black as well. I have some black resin already and photos can be challenging, but i still really like it. I went with the red, and if i hate it on arrival, i can blush the heck out of it with black and gold and let the red shine under. mostly concerned the red will look pinker in the photos or in person.

I really considered the white as well, to make it like bones.

I'll try to post an unboxing when it gets here! I'd make a video but alas I don't have a good camera, just my phone lol. My own wyvern shipped a couple days ago from Alice, so fingers crossed he doesn't take too long or get lost in the holiday rush.

 

I just got my dragon today. DHL sure took their time...but I guess it's due to the holidays. The box was HUGE but very light. The doll itself is very light and the size was about as I expected...I was very surprised as my other dragons weighed a ton.

However...I'm a bit disappointed in the posability. Seems like the shoulders are locked in place...it looks like it's possible to move, but I don't want to force it and cause damage. I'm thinking it's for stability purposes as the large wings would probably flop otherwise. Legs aren't very articulated. You can't really bend the 'joints'...they're just kinda...there. The tail and neck have plenty of articulation. Reminds me of my Cuartos doll Nebo. Very cool looking, but don't expect them to get into a lot of neat poses. Photos to come shortly as soon my phone charges!

yesterday I ordered Pirate Reef, so it will be looong waiting time, as I know now they need about 8-10 months..

 

I feel you, I am almost a month in and I am already eager to see her!

 

+ I waiting for 2 fullsets from them, 6 months have passed, yesterday I received only one unpainted head (i took it for a game character). I saw one user who ordered in march full doll, DZ sent only head (after 3 months) and the body still waiting..

 

I'm at 8 mos for the Tarot Devil cat, blank but both heads and the clear chest piece. maybe the clear is harder to produce?
is there a known issue with production for DZ right now?

it seemed like the wyverns started shipping super fast, and the dragon heads seemed to fulfill quickly as well. But I guess this sort of encapsulates my overall experience with DZ - some items surprise us at 3-4 mos delivery, and the rest are even as long as a year to fulfill - roll the dice...
