Looks like Gluino will be the next Idealian.

 

The outfit looks awesome! I don't think another big Gluino fits in the budget this month.

Oh goodie a new thread!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the new doll, especially that outfit.

In other related news, I only have one final layaway payment left for my Void/Seth. It's been hard on my wallet, but I'm so happy to almost have him paid off. Then I can just sit back and wait for his arrival.

I can't wait to see more of him! I need to get some pics of my big guys too, I haven't taken any new ones of Kain in a while (My Hyperon) and I still need a face for Adrian (Sullivan).

 

The ancient korean/asian military outfits cost a lot of money. Lucikly my wallet is save. But I wish the team could come up with chinese emperor outfit instead.
Gluino looks nice without the fangs. In fact I think this is my first time seeing him without those dragula teeth!

@Twisty - I agree with @meanae the middle photographs in your first "page" question is Hyperon sporting that outfit and then the last photo at the end wearing the same outfit is the new human Gluino, like @nancy_schroeder_ca said.
On closer inspection both dolls have different features as well as different faceups.

 

You guys are great with attention to details! I thought they were the same dolls. I do love the first couple of photos... but who is him really? I thought he was Gluino since he is twany skin. My Hyperon isnt that handsome looking in real life. On a second thought, I cant distinguish between Zak and Sullivian ! If he's really Gluino I might start saving up for him... I do like him than the other promotional photos. I need to check with SOOM to make sure because I dont want to be disappointed.

 

@Twisty Damn your Garion is everything! I really wanted to buy him when he came out, but I didn't have money to join a split or anything, and now nobody's selling him on the MP. Looks like he's an unpopular sculpt.

 

There is dark grey vampire Gluino full set that goes up for sale tomorrow. It's a limited edition of only 3.

 

Yeah, saw the info on Instagram earlier. All the Gluino versions look beautiful, but still paying off Adonis Passion and Seth Void...no can even attempt to think to try for that limited one! Lol...

Anyone here managed to snatch that limited grey Gluino? I was seriously tempted, but he was sold out within 2 hours. Probably less than that...Soom announced it would be open at 14.00 korea time, I checked at 16.00 he was gone.

 

No... but that's amazing! I mean, so many rich people in the bjd hobby! But it could also be a sign that it couldnt sell and not to loose 'face' they mark it as sold out - that's what businesses usually do.

I am now wondering what their next idealian or super/mega gem going to be. I just hope the next one isnt one with open mouth or teeth.

 

I was tempted to try but DH dragged me off to bed before he opened. My credit card is happy through! I figured he would be gone in seconds!

 

@Twisty I did ask them a few days ago, and their reply was they don't have any plan for FCE yet...*sighs*

 

I understand if they didn't want to lose face and then mark it as sold, but if this was true, closing it only after 2 hours was silly. So I really believe he was sold out that fast.

 

I would love to see a FCE for Idealian, that would tempt me and my money.

 

Id like an Idealian girl.... I have one. I just want another. I still need to finish Coira. Her shoulders keep chipping, its really very frustrating. Spent small fortune on her face and hands. Her body is finished. Debating on the arms and legs. They wear through so quickly...

Im not sure when but there was a FCE for Idealian but then it got scrapped
The Soom Gem got the FCE in that time but not the idealian

In release event do they also release the parts like long nail joint hands and the feet for idealian man? or just the full doll

I hope we get FCE so I can get the Hyperon or Zak with sleepy eyes. I have a feeling the next release is female doll or maybe Dover since he wasnt produced in a long time. I am hoping for new character maybe with more nose.

@Fushia Lace Maybe you can coat it in mod podge and leave for a few weeks so it cures full and then re attach

I would love Hyperon, sexy hunk of resin doll that he is, any version! Or one of the ladies they have had, since they are few when made.

 

This lurker over here would love to see some new ladies and new faces. >_>; I have been awful about taking photos of my Dover and Elloa to contribute to the thread.

 

There was no ID FCE planned. They planned a body sale only, even had the teasers up, but THAT got scrapped. People haven been messaging Soom for months(or even years) for another ID FCE, but they always said 'they'll consider it' - which basically says nothing at all.

They've scrapped their Post MD and FCE schedules (March + September for post MD dolls, June + December for FCEs) too, so you really can't say anything anymore about their next events :/

I'm by the way really not sure if they'd rerelease Dover (like, ever). First release was 2012, only rerelease was 2014 and he was never a part of a Post MD or a FCE Event.

Futere releases are probably lots of Hyperons and Gluinos again (they're at 13 and 12 rereleases by now), plus maybe York, Photon and Zak. They're the three next most rereleased IDs as of today.

 

Well, they could offer them in colors they havent been in before. I mean, isn't it the lack of different bodies/parts that are stopping them? People will buy them....

 

New Idealian releasing soon from the Forgotten Series. It feels like an awful long wait since the previous doll. I wonder what theme would this be. Previously it was ancient Korean and before that, ancient Egyptian.The Forgotten series sound like a nice concept, but I really prefer they stick to their original Idealian concept. Still i am happy the Idealian line is surviving.

 

@meanae you are right, I misremembered and must have gotten it confused in my mind. I wouldnt be against romantic Zak rereleased lol.. just wish we would get bigger or more variation in nose shape

He has a beautiful face and I love that he has that eyelid shape

Perhaps they are offering only one body so there can be choices in a free choice event.

 

Wish the price would come down just a teeny bit, these ID75 seem so much more expensive cause of all the resin that goes into making them.

 

Pics are up. I love the sculpt. Is it me or is the outfits and wig recycled? They look very similar to past Idealians.

Hmm I see the Lim's pics and I liked him, but not enough to buy him, I want another 75ID but I think I'll wait for the Free Choice when they do and I cross my fingers to resale Zak and Hyperon (the damphyr type)

 

You're right! Fall 2016 was the last Post Md with Idealians and they were ID72s.

 

It's been so long...I am having trouble remembering what MD stands for! LOL!

I really want Lim...but that's going to be another full doll, and why is he not offered in tawny? *sigh*
