I can't believe Soom!! And Hyperon is my weakness and this new version of him is very very very tempting too! Gosh why now!?

 

I really really like him, even if I still don´t fancy the new Soom NS. Why oh why had they to make it that dark?? Ok, rhetorical question ^^ I am almost sure I will buy him, just not sure if I want the machine arm or not ... ah, decisions! I want an IDealian since ages, and this one could be the one!

 

I just can't get him on 4 month layaway, I wish they did a longer layaway, but still I can't get him

 

I wish Soom could allow 5 month layaway then I would jump all over this doll! I really miss the Hyperon I had, but this one could make up for him. Then there is the room for him and his box, where would I put him?

 

I hope Soom would make NEW idealians instead of rerererereleasing older ones again and again XD I really would like to see new handsome faces, not only buying 4 different kind of Hyperon.. I love him but do you think that they would make Gluino and other Idealians again with this kind of small changes? It seems they don't want or don't have time to make new sculpts or even a whole mechanical hands, not only that glove looking hand part..

 

Haha no, I don't want the third one XD But IF I would buy even one more, only white skin. I have incoming gluino vampire head just in case if they release only very derpy looking vampires like Calais in the future, though I have Gluino already too.. New handsome older man looking version of Gluino would be lovely though but not exactly the same face again...

Maybe they feel they drained our Idealian funds with the free choice event. I must be selective as my Idealian space is about full!

 

Gah! Why must they make dolls that are so gorgeous? I love the outfit. I'm tempted to put one on layaway, but can I even afford that? I'll still be paying off my first doll, and I haven't even gotten him yet.

 

I accidentally came across the FB post about him at 1 in the morning and didn't know anything about the Idealian line from Soom.
I thought he was cool looking, at first, but I made the mistake of browsing through the images on the site.
That outfit, mechanical hand, and scar on the face is what did me in. I bought him. My Garnet hasn't even shipped from Super Gem Soom and I ordered another one.
Plus I'm waiting on two more dolls to release.... I think I have an addiction.

If this Hyperon is a re-release, can anyone share their images of the older versions? I would love to see them.

 

I hoped to see the new face as well but this release of Hyperon seems to me very interesting. The machine arm and his outfit are that I need.

 

Hey guys, I gotta chime in! Just discovered the new Idealian Hyperon. Am I the only one who hates that scar? I am not understanding what excactly is being offered. Does one get two heads and pay for both face ups? Does one get two human arms/hands and the extra weird one? I just wrote them because I love this guy's face without the hideous scar. I think it should be an option, like Iplehouse did with Roger .... just sayin'. Can anyone clarify whilst I bite off all my fingernails waiting for a response from Soom, lol?

 

Tangier: It's written there that one head in total, so you will get a head which has another eye as half closed but I'm not sure is that scar sculpted or only painted, there's NO original Hyperon's normal both-eyes-open head available. Secondly, the hand is an OPTION so if you don't pick it you'll get a full human body with human hands only. And if you pick it you'd get human hands and that machine hand as an addition.

Btw they call this as "scar head" so it would be somehow misleading to sell him also as blank "with scar head" so It would really be true that the scar is sculpted!? or not.. please ask.. too difficult to see. I would like to know too!

 

Soom never releases the exact doll again. So if you want a scarless Hyperon in normal skin, you have to buy him second hand here at the MP (but the prices are high and he is hard to get). There might be a chance, that Soom will do a Special Order of Hyperon with the regular head in other colours like white skin or a FC-Event, where you can get him in other colours but normal skin. I would ask Soom for a blank head shot, maybe the scar is just painted as Adalwolf already mentioned.

 

If you look further down the sales page, the closup pics of the face make it look like the scar is carved into the head, concave.

You're right Dirili.. I looked his face my nose on the screen xD Yeah, it would be a face-upping-miracle if they could only shade it to look so deep.

Do you guys think that his outfit is expensive or just reasonable? I need to decide to get it or not.. it looks really nice and manly. I liked also Dover's outfit but it was 190usd or something so I passed and gave them some feedback about over priced stuff.. or is it only me.

 

Adalwolf: i do not think that his outfit is too expensive. ♥ it is very nicely tailored and is more intricate than many of their things which wind up looking like trim with curtains.

 

I hope they bring out Hyperion with the scar in white skin ^^

 

In my opinion, I think the price is reasonable for the outfit. It comes with a detailed looking jacket, shirt, and pants and I would have thought it would have been more (maybe around 210 USD).
I think you should buy it and if you don't like, you could always sell it. I'm sure there will be someone out there who will want that outfit.

 

I find that Soom outfits are usually even nicer in person than they were in the pictures! I will definitely be ordering the outfit! I already have a Hyperon and I'm not fond of scar faces.

 

hehe yep, I figured it was either carved out, or they did some really really fine airbrushing work there.

As far as outfit prices go, well... I suppose that's pretty average, but too rich for my taste. Even though I've spent a lot of money on my dolls, I can't seem to justify to myself paying so much money to clothe them when I can sew pretty decently.

 

The more I look at him, the more I like him. I will only order if Soom offered him in Bronze or Tawny skintones because I already have Hyperon in normal skin.
I always wanted to have a scar face doll but I can't help thinking that if the scar eye is more closed, it will look more realistic and beautiful.
The concept and execution of this one are nice.. I like his default faceup and outfit a lot. Compared to the price of previously released outfit, I think the price of this one make sense.
The outfit really goes well with his cyborg hand too!

Have someone asked Soom for picture(s) of his blank head?

I'm currently waiting to see blank head before deciding on whether or not i'll get this boy.
I hope the wait for pictures won't be too long...

I keep falling in love with him the more I stare. xDD I need to decide if I can get him and if I want him blank or default faceup... Such a hard decision...
I really hope I don't miss out on this guy like I did with the SO Gluino ;A; I will never stop regretting that choice to pass... TT^TT

 

I agree. That jacket looks very well-tailored. I've gotten some very nice ID clothing. Galway's suit is nice, as are Branon's and York's outfits. The only thing that bugs me about IDealian clothing is that the pants don't have zippers. So they often gap, which is annoying. I will probably sew zippers into mine at some point.

It never hurts to ask! And the more people that do, the more likely they'll offer a choice of skin color.

 

Ninjy I'm waiting his blank head too, I'm not interested with Hyperon before but his new look with new face up really change my mind.

 

That's true. I once saw them eventually cave in and offer something in tan skin, coz someone must have bugged them for it. So it will happen if there are enough requests. Hurray to consumer power!!

After all...I was one of the ones that bugged them to RERELEASE Hyperon which is exactly what they did. So I'm going to get mine as soon as I work up the nerve. hahaha

It looks like normal skin. He has been available only in normal, bronze and white skin and bronze is much more darker.

I have really bad experience about this bronze skin with idealian dolls.. my boy arrived in absolutely horrible condition and looked like a recast and I noticed that some people in our waiting room got the same looking bronze boys. Some got replacements with the wrong color and I needed to change the whole doll because he was so bad.. and also, those white skin Yorks had thin-resin issues. I didn't notice any problems with normal skin and a person near me got a Photon in NS and he was really high quality.

So i'm wondering that they offer ns first always with them as the easiest to make because it was maybe really hard to make so many replacements and their QA was full issue messages.

I hesitate to order bronze idealians again because of this. One person here got some replacements with a wrong color and her doll is now like a puzzle of different resin and Soom said they can't help anymore. Thank god I got a whole doll as a full replacement.

When I've seen they ship out bronze without scratches bubbles cracking bad sanding or spots, I will consider again. I'm traumatized XD

so you can see the difference which is really big. And of course WS looks like ws, pale and creamy almost greenish-yellow if it's soom ws XD but I have noticed their current WS is prettier and cleaner, my Eden is really white next to my old gluino which arrived almost brand new but still greener tint.

 

Oh wow!! I must say...despite all your problems with the bronze skin boy...he is still one gorgeous hunk!! and it was worth it coz no one does it like Soom for big boys...(only contender being Iplehouse, of course haha)

It is unfortunate but paint is like that. The result is always different no matter how hard you try.
I remember a painter came over to do some repaints for us. He had everything finished but I accidentally left something leaning against the door, which of course ruined the paint job. He was forced to mix a complete new batch and redo the whole door. I asked why he couldn't just redo the little bit that I ruined and he told me because every time he mixes, the color is different and he had thrown away the old batch since he thought he was finished! I felt really bad...

 

I also think that NS doll is easier to make than bronze or any other tan skin. Soom had lots of issues from customers and replacements after ID&MG FCE, so it is logical to assume they intend to follow the easier path. I'm one of those people who recieved replacement in the wrong colour. That's why I'm even glad that this release suggested in NS. Anyway they could add WS for this guy.
I'm looking forward to see his blank head to make my decision as well.

 

I like the Scar face of Hyperon, but as long as Soom won't offer white skin I'm safe . I don't know why Soom is so reluctant with white skin releases recently. There weren't so many complains about it recently like with the bronze skin. It would be great if they would offer normal and white skin with their releases.

This new hyperon is so tempting. I never like his original version but right now he makes my heart pounding. I love the face up artist. He/She's so talented!! His scar is permanent though, so that's one big minus point for me. I never like scar on pretty boys. On a more manly sculpt though, that's another matter that's too bad, i would love to have another idealians to accompany my gluino. right now i guess i will satisfy myself with watching my friends when they get their hands on him. A lot ot ppl are planning to buy him right now.

I agree that he looks so different with the new faceup! Frankly I don't recognize him when Soom put the teaser photo.
Even I thought Soom had changed the chin and nose. I'm still waiting for Soom to clarify this myself, but I think they don't change anything beside the eye, which makes him hotter!

 

Yes I'm agree with that, other than normal is really tempting for me~ I love to see more of your bronze he's sexy more appealing~ If its possible I maybe hyperon scar in grey skin? XD gosh… its so frustating that soom offers them in normal skin XDDD

 

Hmmm… is there any differences between mega gem and idealian body other than their height? I never compared them actually o.o but to be honest I love idealian body~

 

The ID is wider, and heavier. I don't think they will put Hyperon in another event since he's already been in the holiday one. After all they haven't rereleased a lot of the older dolls like Epidos and Chalco

as long as I remember chalco had been released in fce and so last time, maybe it is possible for another ID and MG fcs again? I still hope they will released fcs in different skin tones again I still love to see Hyperon in other skin tone really~ ^^

 

Oh I still hope for another rereleased… but sounds impossible hahaha hmmm… I'm wondering about the fce of ID and MG. Is there any differences in their head size? Since I dont have the idea on putting MG head into ID body and vice versa ^^;

 

I have a Shonon and I just sold a York who I'm packing up tonight. I'll try to get a picture of the heads together. Not taking the bigger body out, sorry. It's a lot to unpack. The ID is really huge and sort of intimidating to me. But I think it will help to know head variance too.
