I just ordered an in-stock Kikipop Kinoko Juice MSD (a Kiki in white resin!) off of the maker's Etsy, and am already eagerly waiting for the shipping notice. It looks like the package should be sent out by the end of next week, but coming from Japan it may take a little bit for it to get here.

I hope everyone here who is waiting on shipping notices gets word of them soon! I'm going to go check out all of the sculpts you guys are waiting for now, haha!

 

Hi everyone in the general waiting room!
I've just ordered an ANother Secret Echo head (and can't seem to find a separate ANS waiting room), so hopefully it's ok to join here? I can't wait to customize her since she's such an interesting sculpt!

In the meantime, I'm also waiting on a Dream Valley Bone Butterfly (since 12/12/23) and two Impldoll girls (Vilma and Gemma, ordered at the end of March/beginning of April)!

After letting my impatience get to me I messaged Alice Collections for an update on my Guard Love Xiao Zhu (it has now been 2 months and 22 days) and they let me know she'll be ready in about 2 more weeks, aaah!!! I'm so excited. It's really too bad she'll miss my birthday but still, I'm really glad its not that much longer

It's been really hard not to order the next ones on my list but I've been very good haha

 

Hahaha I had to give myself a big gift for turning 30 (yes, that gift is literally a bunch of dolls)… I have been informed that it's approximately 5 more months for the Dream Valley doll (which would mean in total she'll take 11 months to be made and shipped!) but for the others I'm literally playing a random waiting game

As for the question, right now I'm trying to get some basic clothes for the ones incoming and sorting out faceup materials, plus planning out their faceups, blushings, tattoos etc. I might be trying to make some eyes later to stop the boredom, we'll see.

 

Congrats on the shipping notice! I don't know what company Kinoko Juice uses to ship, but I've bought small Obitsu bodies that shipped through DHL and arrived from Japan in 3 days! Not trying to get your hopes up, but sometimes shipping can surprise you in the best way!

 

I bought mine from the makers through their Etsy, and it looks like they're using EMS! Its been a very long time since I've ordered anything from Japan, so i have no idea what to expect. I'll be thrilled if its here in three days, though! that's so fast!

 

I shouldn't have, but I bought myself a bargain body off the MP because I saw a rare opportunity to body a head as a 70cm man. Fingers crossed it works out. I shall remain optimistic. It's always exciting getting to experience a doll body I've never handled before too.

 

My MYou Doudou (1/6) will be probably ready in a month (at least Alice's Collections told me so towards the end of April) and I cannot concentrate on anything! Despite having ordered her fullset I bought her a red wig, green eyes and I want to buy several more! I am also sewing some mockyup dresses, but I'm so impatient I cannot focus on that, either XD! I am out of pictures and unboxing videos I can watch, too X°DD

 

I was surprised to wake up to a shipping notification on my Xiao Zhu! That's much sooner than they said and I'm over the moon, I've been having an awful week with a sick Guinea Pig and this was a much needed glimmer of happiness If I'm really lucky with the temprimental post I may have her on my birthday or at least pretty close to it

 

Update: my package is now in Chicago!!! Hopefully it will head over to Ohio soon

Im glad im not the only one who obsessively watches unboxing videos after ordering something (or even just when dolly window shopping!) ive been digging around for unboxing videos and faceup videos myself!

My doll was delivered WAY earlier than I was anticipating! She showed up around 2pm yesterday while I was super busy, and barely 24 hours after the plane from Japan she was on even landed! I'm shocked it got here so fast, I've never had something come through customs in Chicago, get to Ohio, AND be delivered in this short of a time. I was prepared to wait until Monday for that delivery notification

It was very hectic, but I'm excited she is here nonetheless!

OK. *rubs forehead* Immortality of Soul is a good, reputable company, right? Cuz I'm starting to get nervous.

I'm coming up on the 5-month mark for a blank body, which means the 6-month mark is right around the corner. If I wait until after 6 months have passed, I am trusting IOS not to steal from me, because I will have lost any recourse against them.

When I ordered, the listing said the body would ship around the end of March.
When I asked on the Q&A board in April, they said the body would ship on Thursday, April 28 (Thursday was April 18, the 28th was a Sunday).
Both days in April have passed. I sent an email on May 3rd, and I have received no response.
My doll has been in "pending shipping" status since April 11.

 

finally decided to stop lurking and this seems like the place to start being active! I'm waiting on a sweet Tinyfox 1/6 little frog!! I'd been eyeing her for some time now and I finally pulled the trigger!! Can't stop looking in my inbox for updates

 

Have you been able to get in contact with anyone else who ordered around the same time as you and ask if their things have shipped? If this is something widespread with the current order, hopefully someone else has also said something about it. Its really odd it has been listed as having been shipped for that long, even if they just printed the label but haven't taken it to the post office.

You may want to mention in your emails that you may have to file with Paypal (I assume that's what you mean you used) before the 6 month timeframe expires if they don't provide proof of sending your doll. It might not be the most friendly way to do it, but you've been given the runaround for a long time now it seems, and maybe it will light a fire under their butts. I feel like the safest bet would be to try contacting them another time, and actually bring up the possibility of filing with Paypal. That way if they don't reply and you DO end up having to g that route, they'll have had the notice beforehand that it was going to happen. I would give it a week or so longer, though, since a month or so is still a bit of time. Maybe like 3 weeks before the deadline.

Otherwise, I might also try contacting them through socials if you're very worried, like their instagram or messaging them if they have an account here. I'm not sure how effective it might be, but it's worth a shot? Especially if you get down to the last week before the 6 month date or something. I wouldn't forgo filing right before you run out of time, though.

I'm sorry you're having to deal with this, its such a stressful situation, but if you spent a lot of money on the doll it might be safer to make sure you don't lose your money. There's always a chance you could order it again from somewhere else if they sell through a reputable BJD dealer, or just at another time.

 

I have a head and body I ordered from IOS in late December that have been "preparing shipping" for at least a week now. I'm moving house in the next month. I was hoping my things would arrive before then, but I might send a message letting IOS know about my address change and prodding them about my order status at the same time.

Edit: I have sent them a message. If they reply, I'll let people know what they say

I'm finally starting to feel the weight of the wait I've passed the 4 month mark on my Huajing Andy, and I just want him to get hooooome.
Anyone who ordered a Huajing doll through acbjd during December or the New Year sales hear anything yet?

 

My Imda Doll Vampire Gian had shipped. Hopefully, she'll be here by the end of the week. I'm waiting on one more Imda girlie. I ordered her about a month after Gian.so I'll probably see her in another month.

After missing out on her first two sales, I was able to snatch a morningstardoll Amanita! It should ship fairly quick as they dolls are already made if I understood.
I just hope the god of shipping taxes will be kind to me, but I'm so excited to get her

 

I'm with @cobaltconduct - I ordered my body (the 1/4 new special body) in February. I think we're in for the long haul. I don't expect to hear anything till August.
Same with my Lost Myth Ares boy from littleoverbearingceo - I proxied through ACBJD. I've been watching their Instagram, and I think their production estimates are... let's say optimistic. By about a month or two, minimum. So I'm not expecting him till more like October.

 

My unassembled second hand body is out for delivery. I hope it cheers me up a bit. If it doesn't work I will take everything I own and chuck it directly out the window. (Just kidding) the angry emotes on this site are so adorable and hard to take seriously.

Ordered blank 65F body December 24, 2023 and paid in full.
Per their listing (now removed), dolls were supposed to ship between March 15 and March 30, 2024.
I left a message on the QnA community board on April 2, 2024.
They replied April 15, 2024 and said the body would ship "this Thursday, April 28, 2024."
Sent an email May 2, 2024. Coming up on the two-week mark, and still no reply.

The five-month mark is coming up May 21, 2024. The six-month mark (PayPal chargeback end date) is June 20, 2024.
Sigh... I don't like threatening chargebacks. I really, really don't.

 

I'm having the same problem with IOS. Bought 2 things in December (which I asked to be shipped together) with no updates and getting too close to the 6 month mark for comfort. I put a message on the Q&A board 3 days ago and have had no reply...

Ah sorry for late response - but that would be awesome! Angie is a new sculpt and this is the first time she's been offered, so there's probably not too many of her running around! It seems like the 1.7's aren't super popular since iMda only offers them once-twice a year, but hopefully Angie sold strongly enough that you'd have the option to get her soon! She seems like a bit of a weird size, but from just comparing measurements, she should fit in longer Lati Yellow or Irrealdoll clothes.

Did you get your little Gian? Who else are you waiting on?

I officially have everything I ordered for my Angie (who I think is going to be named Kitty). Some pocket16 stuff I snatched from TTYA before they shut down, a miniature toy, mohair wig and a pair of boots from Etsy (the boots are Blythe, but I'm hoping they'll be oversized in a cute way). I ordered Angie's eyes with her so that's dealt with. Now I just need to make her the accessories I couldn't find.

Not sure yet! I used to have a doll with little antlers, and they were a ton of fun, so animal parts sounds pretty tempting (Kitty just sounded like a cute name that I HADN'T yet used for a book character) I also have to make her some head dress things like a witch hat and a big bow.

Well, I've decided that after I do my IOS chargeback, I'm going to order an Angel of Dream Zimei from ACBJD instead.
I have given them a deadline until June 19, 2024 to respond. I do not expect to receive a doll.

I will never do business with IOS again.

As I have told IOS over and over again, it's not the delay. I waited nine months for feet from Dream Valley with zero complaints. (OK, maybe some lighthearted teasing in my review.)
It's that IOS ignores customers until their customers threaten them.

I sent the dreaded email two days ago. No response.

 

I received the shipping notice for my Angel of Dream Bo on Saturday!

 

Welp. Still nothing. No reply to me on the Q and A page, no reply to my emails, and they still haven't looked at my IG message. I am figuratively banging pots and pans together, but IOS has some really good noise-canceling headphones on. Metaphorically speaking.
In happy news, most of my Dollmore order arrived today, and I am having a blast trying on all the stuff I bought on all the dolls. Pictures will have to wait - the house is an absolute disaster cuz remodeling. I hate remodeling.
