WITHdoll Waiting Room 3

More than 17 weeks after my paid in full order for Adriana, I finally got a shipping notice. Unfortunately my tracking number isn't working so hopefully that will resolve itself in the next few days or I'll have to post on the Q&A board again. I wish I could be more excited, but after such a long wait, I'm just not feeling it. I'm sure that will change once she's actually here, though.

 

@thegashlycrumb Did yours end with an awkward thing as well? My tracking ended in KIR instead of KR, once I subbed out the ending it showed up proper on tracking.
I did post on the boards as well, but I doubt I'll get a notice until I hear from the postal office that I have a package. (I'm glad they will hold the package though, even though it's seriously five minutes away. They also will call! I love living in a smaller town now.)

 

Yay @thegashlycrumb and @ModernWizard for your shipping Adrianas. Looking forward to seeing other beauties. I've been neglecting to take more spam of my girl as I'm hurriedly trying to finish some blushing work before my hols end.

I got a shipping notice today for my shoes and a replacement dagger. (My black one had a marked up blade. They were very good about it though. Agreed to a replacement straight away no fuss.) So hopefully with the shoes now in, that speeds up orders for the others.

 

@Scarele Thanks for the suggestion. The number looks right, searches are just coming back as "not found". I'm guessing one of the numbers must have just been written down wrong.

 

@thegashlycrumb it might not be wrong. It took 2-3 days before mine registered with a scan and came up with a result. But things moved fairly quickly after then.

 

Have you tried putting the tracking number on the Korea Post website? It might not update with USPS until the item has arrived in the US.

My tracking didn't update until about 24 hours after I got the notification from WITHdoll. I hope yours updates soon!

 

Hi all! My tracking finally updated to show that Adriana was actually shipped on 1/11 and not on 1/8, so I've updated the list. Hopefully she'll still make it here this week since I'll be out of town all next week.

 

Aaahhhh I hope this means my Egon will be coming soon! :O I was expecting another month but now I am not so sure!

I put myself on the list. I ordered Egon in december and paid him off this month. Cannot wait to have him at home. It was instant love when Withdoll released him.

Does anybody know if Leekeworld of Luts shoes will fit?

 

I'm not sure about the males, but I'd be wary of Leekeworld shoes because they were WAY huge. My Withdoll girl was swimming in them, and they actually fit my SD girl decently. Not sure if it was a fluke, but the bag they were in did say "msd". Could still have been a packaging error I suppose.

Luts should be fine though!

 

I contacted Withdoll about my Egon order (since it's a split and I wanted to keep everyone involved in the loop), and was told that, like with the Adriana orders, there's a delay in getting the clothing from the manufacturer. They estimated "possibly next week" last week, but it looks like that didn't pan out.

 

*sits here and tries to be understanding about my blank Egon with no extras not shipping out yet because he is in a special skintone*

 

I started to get nervous since it seems that people are getting ready for their Egons to send...so I checked my account and it just says "Confirm Receipt" I don't have any idea what that means or how to fix it so I guess my Egon is in limbo. Sad day.

 

I can't believe my dolls are here! The oscardoll eyes are gorgeous. My spare Adriana head went on cecily, so I'm going to have to blush to match..

 

I think it just means they have "confirmed the receipt of your payment". Mine said that until it shipped. Nothing needs fixing.

 

Oh, they are already shipping Egon... I really hope to see some owners picture. I think I have to wait a little longer for mine to ship though.

Like Kittzel said, the "Confirm Receipt" part is just what it normally says up until the send you your doll. It is nothing to worry about ^^ This is the fourth time either I or my fiance have ordered from Withdoll and each time it has said that up until the actual shipping date.

I do not see you on the list, when did you order and what were the specs of your Egon?

I know mine is taking a bit longer because he is in a special skin tone, so they have to work a bit to make sure all his pieces match each other.

Oops, I never actually added myself to the list. I'll do that now. I posted on their Q&A board, and they said it could be shipped next week if there are no extras, so I'll hope she will be shipped next week and I didn't have to reply. This is literally the first time I have ever ordered a doll online. I'll be able to relax when she is at the house.

 

Adriana's knives came in scratched I'm thinking I'm just going to make a story for them, but...

 

My black dagger was too, I sent them a photo and they sent out another one.

 

With the Lunar New Year happening I wonder if we will see any orders being shipped in the next week?

 

Ahhh, I think my orders will arrive today! They left the depot an hour away on Saturday, and of course there's no mail Sunday, so I don't see why not...tracking hasn't updated yet, but it's normal for my small town to not upload their scans until 10:30-noon. Fingers crossed!!

As for the black daggers coming in scratched, I wonder if it's an issue with the casting? Can anyone upload a picture of the scratches? It might be from how they were cleaned up (seams, removal of casting spurs, polishing)? Just curious, since it seems to be an issue with a bunch of them and WD usually has good quality control.

 

SilverWinglie, how is your Egon? I'm still debating if I should press a bit more on the Q&A board >.> I don't want to be annoying but I wanna know at what step my doll is!

 

He wasn't mine, I was just keeping the clothes and resin accessories. Body and head were in good shape though, if you want to see the box opening and photos, I put them up here.

I'm surprised others haven't shipped yet, when I asked, he was done, they were just waiting on the clothes.

 

No email, just happened to be on their website and wanted to check on the status on Egon and found out he had shipped.

 

*Cries softly on the floor every morning when I check Withdoll's site and see no shipping notice on my Egon*

I say this even though I have no clothing or wig ready for him at all >w>;;;; I have to wait until he comes in to see in person so my fiance and I can decide which of my 2 characters he will be. (And therefore if my fiance will need to buy him a boyfriend or not lol)

 

I feel your pain. I haven't put myself on the waiting list yet because Withdoll still haven't confirmed that they received my payment for Vera on friday, and they've answered a few people on the QnA board today but not me. It's been so long since I ordered from a company that I don't know if this is normal or not.

 

Looks like I'm one of the few that ordered Egon with a faceup so maybe that's why I haven't really heard anything yet. I've never ordered from a company before so I have no idea the best way to reply. I asked them on the Q&A board on the 4th of this month what needed to be done for that confirm receipt thing and they replied <very quickly, I might add> that the shipping time is about 10 weeks, if the order includes options it could take another two and that they could ship it next week. I have no idea if I should reply. I just want my doll home safe!

 

Not on the list, but I just wanted to say that my Adriana finally arrived yesterday, and they seem to have fixed whatever the problem was with the knives, because mine are perfectly smooth. Also, their real skin resin is gorgeous.

What does your order status say on it? If it is "Confirm receipt(Credit card)" then that is correct and usually what it will say up until they ship.

 

It said incomplete/pending for several days but Withdoll got back to me yesterday and confirmed the payment, so I'll go ahead and put my info on the list now ^^ I feel a little relieved knowing I definitely got her xD

Yeah, Withdoll is still really small. And when they released their SD line they got a whole lot more popular. You used to be able to get a doll in about a month and a half, but now the wait is up to 3 and a halfish, which is why I am getting so antsy XD

 

I just checked on my order and my Egon is now shipping!!! I can't even sit down right now I'm so excited! Eep!

 

So should I be looking to get the SD I ordered this month in May? D:
I haven't ordered a doll in so long I'm not used to the waiting. I might buy a few things here and there next paycheck but leave off the giant spending doll wardrobe.

Yeah, May would probably be a safe bet. She might come earlier but you never know.

I usually just try to "forget" whenever I order a doll from a company so I do not get anxious and impatient. But with Withdoll since I had shorter waiting times in the past I got excited around the 2 month mark, and so now that I am at the 3 month mark I am writhing in agony X,D

But I understand that I ordered a very dark skin tone and so he is going to be harder for them to make where every piece of him matches really well. So I will keep waiting.

Mine didnt update until a few hours later, so I must admit, I was quite panicked when I saw yours was shipping and mine still had no notice XD

I am quite excited for him as well~ He is going to be one of two characters for me, it will depend on which his face is better suited for. I am HOPING he will work out for my character Fang. If so he will have black hair and brown eyes, if he is my other character I will have to decide what I like best with his skin tones, but am leaning towards blond hair and gold eyes.

What hair and eye colors will your character have?

 

@Alaia I'm hoping he's a good fit for one of my OCs and, if so, he'll have dark red (like a maroon color) hair and gold cat eyes (probably. I keep going back and forth between red and gold). I recently got a Withdoll Juwel who's in the running for the same character though so it'll just depend on who's the better fit. I think I'll keep both of them regardless, but one will have to become a new character so it'll be back to square one for planning. Both of your choices sound great! I hope you post pictures.

Maybe your character can get a relative? XD Or a friend who is the same type of species.

And yes! I will definitely be taking lots of photos. I am excited to see the BTUV skin next to the other Withdoll skins my fiance and I have. Going to get to see it next to White, Real UV, and the normal Brown Tan (which btw is lovely and perfect and it is a crime it was discontinued)

 

My Egon came in today! She's seriously the most gorgeous thing I can barely handle myself. I'll take pictures and post them...somewhere on this forum. I'll update the list later on. But seriously I am so happy with her.

 

Got a shipping notice today. I was really surprised since Withdoll made a point of saying to me that they only start on making Egon once I had finished my layaway and yet he has shipped only 6 days after I paid it off! Let the shipping wait begin!!

 

My Egon is in customs now. The ETA on his delivery is Saturday.

 

I can't wait to see the Egon's! I was very tempted by him but had to pass.

 

I would love to see some resin comparisons if you have time! And, yes, I'm thinking one of my OC's old friends will come to stay much sooner than expected.

Got my boy in He works for the character I was hoping he would work for. Will be posting photos once my fiance is able to get a faceup on him (hopefully tonight)

 

we've had a few december ordered babies ship now and most of november, here's hoping the 2k16 ones starts soon!

 

I have no wigs currently that don't make him look overly girly, so here is just a quick nude headshot of my boy now that he has a faceup. His earrings are just jump rings glued on ovo

Thanks! The msc ghosted on him but we had expected that it probably would. I would also like to get him some new eyes since the default acrylic ones just look a bit dull, but brown eyes that are not dull are a bit hard to find.

Have you had a chance to faceup your boy yet? ^^

 

@Alaia I did give him a face up! But I don't like it very much so I might try again. I feel like I'm missing something around the eyes and I sort of want to attempt to paint little upturned lip corners to try and give him a little bit of a smile. Good luck on the eye search! I'm sure you'll find something great. I'm a big fan of brown eyes, but I totally understand how hard it is to find ones that look good and photograph well.

Yes, more December shipments! Congrats to everyone getting theirs, only 3 other December dolls ( in this thread) who still need shipping notices.

 

My trackingnumber is still not working. Did this happen to anyone before, when Withdoll shipped their order. I wonder if I should contact them about it or if I should wait a few more days.
