Here's a little happy update! I got my replacement leg piece delivered to me today for my Withdoll Cathy (RealUV). Maybe they cast them in pairs but I was surprised to receive the pair of lower leg pieces and not just the one to replace the broken right one. This concludes my first DoA waiting room experience and I hope to lurk the Withdoll waiting rooms again soon!!

A little late to the show, but I ordered a Margery last September. Can't wait to have her home. All the withdoll sculpts I've seen have looked so beautiful !

 

@Alaia So gorgeous... Luckily, I've managed to sort out my doll plan for the next several months, and I think I can live without him. I guess I'll just enjoy looking at Withdoll's gorgeous photos (and any future owner pics).

....I did the thing XD I used to have a Luts Elf Cherry and I adored his character but he just looked waaaaay too baby faced so I ended up selling him. Egon looks very much like a more mature version and will actually be in the skin tone I want this time around

@Alaia Congrats! I also like the youthful-but-not-babyfaced look. Withdoll seems to be good at that, especially with their boys. (My absolute favorite is Fenrir, but I just discovered WD a month ago, and he's long gone... )

 

Just paid my order for the Egon split I'm running! I'm only keeping the wig, clothes, and option parts, but I'm super excited to get them - it's been a long time since I've gotten to blush armor and it is my FAVORITE thing to customize.

@Alaia thank you! I'm very excited to be here, though the wait has been positively killing me!

 

Been waiting patiently for the last couple of months. But the last week the wait is driving me a little crazy. *Sigh!*

I don't expect my Adriana until Christmas and because of that and holidays, it probably won't be until the new year. Waah! So much waiting! Sigh. Been lurking DoA Withdoll forums in the meantime.

 

You still haven't gotten your Adriana? Geez, that's a much longer wait than expected, is it not? Have you contacted WITHdoll about it? Any luck? I've seen a few WITHdoll box opening threads in the Box Opening Gallery, so hopefully she gets shipped soon. I know that once the 10 week mark hits for my Rosa, I'm going to message WITHdoll right away.

 

@NekoNyanMew I ordered with all the extras, which I think from memory add another few weeks. But now I'm going to check. I counted the weeks out in my diary originally lol

 

I just counted and you reached ten weeks so you should have her ship sometime this month I'm waiting for mine as well, I ordered blank with no extras and my ten weeks is coming up shortly.

 

@sammyjo421 if she somehow ends up here and through customs before Christmas, she'll put any other gifts I get to shame! ^_^

 

I get this! I just paid off my Adriana, and if they send her before New Years, I'll be ecstatic.

 

8 weeks to go of you just paid her off!!! Start counting down :-) it's so exciting watching the weeks go by.

 

I paid off my Cecily in September, so hopefully the pair of them will be there just before New Years (though holidays slow shipping down like crazy, so who knows.) were they late on sending you your confirmation? Cause they have the money, but they haven't marked it as paid...

 

I paid in full right away and didn't get a confirmation, I asked for one lol and they said it was processing and then I asked again to make sure she was on schedule and would be shipped to me next week, and they said yes.

 

Oh, thank god, haha. The only other company I've dealt with is Ringdoll, and they communicated a lot, so this threw me off. It's good to hear that this is normal.

 

No Worries there haha, Withdoll is Fantastic from what I heard. This is my first doll from the, but she's amazing.

Aaaand nine days later I throw myself onto the list again, heh. That Aiden will be the recipient of Egon's clothes, armor, and weapons, though.

My Margery just came in this evening! Haven't had a chance to get home and open her yet; the suspense is killing me! I was surprised by how quickly she came once I got shipping notice.

 

I decided to congratulate myself for graduating and ordered Egon with a female body. Since I lived in Denver back when DDE was more of a showroom, I have never purchased a doll online. I get the feeling that the wait is going to feel forever...

 

I was told by Withdoll that my girl is shipping this week!

Looks like my girls cleared customs! The tracking number isnt providing me with an eta but looks like they will get here tomorrow or wednesday

 

Um... So I have a problem. Im now literally checking my email every hour for a shipping notice! Gah! I've reached the "I'm going slightly mad" part of the wait.

Got my girls in yesterday with just enough time before work to fix Emma's eye wells and wash both their heads so I can spray them today!~

Didn't do a box opening photoshoot because of time constraint but once they get their faces on I will get photos up as soon as I can!

(As for what I 'fixed' on Emma; on Emma and Aiden their eye wells fit 12mm acrylics fine because acrylics have a little give to them, but with glass eyes they do not let them quite deep enough into the well and so it looks a bit funny because they are not up to the eye hole. So I just took an exacto knife and shaved around the eye wells a bit at a time until they could fit the glass eyes. I of course had a respirator on just in case.)

 

@Buzzibee and @sammyjo421 did you guys get shipping notices? I got nothing and now it's 11.30pm in Korea, so they won't ship out until next week.

 

I didn't get anything, Yesterday I went ahead and asked on the Q & A page when she would ship just to be sure, I ordered just the basic doll, so she should be shipping next week at the latest.

 

I would do that too, but I already posted on it last week.

I messaged them three times now, and put two posts on the Q & A Board, and everyone around me has been answered...I'm a little frustrated to be honest, If your going to ship her later just say so...I don't have an issues but I'd rather know. If they don't respond soon I may have to take some preventative measures.

It's super concerning, I'm not upset shes not been shipped yet, I just want to know what's going on.

I'm two payments in on my Cecily, and I'm planning to finish the layaway off in the next week or so. I'm not sure if they've already started production or not, but I'll be traveling around Christmas/New Years, so I actually asked them to wait to ship her until January. I just received my Ddoll Mamie, anyway, so I have enough to keep me occupied until then.

 

FIANLLY! I got a response last night, they said they were busy preparing for the Christmas specials and she should still be shipped out this week, most likely today according to them. I just want my girl :P

 

I got a response too! They apologised for the delay, again citing Christmas special reasons. They said my girl is just waiting on her faceup and she should ship next week. Yay for communication!!

 

Eeee, my Cecily finally shipped! I thought I would be waiting forever!

 

I went ahead and asked for an update on my order. It's not late or anything, there's about a week left before it should ship, but I would like reassurance that it's on schedule. If it ships on time it would get here right before the holidays - if it's late, I will have gone out of town and I'll miss it! So that always makes me a bit nervous. Fingers crossed they're on schedule.

 

I'm crossing my fingers for you, I ordered a most basic doll I could with my Adriana, and she's still not shipped, and they are still failing to communicate.
