Volks Waiting Room v3!

Is anyone waiting for fcs dolls from March? Volks said they'd ship in the beginning of this month but... It feels like this months almost over ^^;;
ETA: I'm a fool! I just realized the emails have said early June is when they'll arrive. I don't know what made me think it was may.

 

Bought a Lieselotte one-off head and waiting game is killing me! I know she’d be worth the wait.

 

Waiting on the blue bird yo-sd! I'm really excited, this is my first yo-sd and volks! This also means I have a doll to bring to Dolpa.

 

Im waiting on a DD Hatsune Miku! She is my dream doll, I’m so excited She will also be my first vinyl doll! I can’t wait to see how she compares to my resin ones.

 

@officialorange congrats on blue bird! he is such a cute little doll! and the fullset is amazing! can’t wait to see your pictures on here and potentially meet you two at dolpa!

 

@c4tbus Thank you! It's still a little hard to believe that I actually got him. He's just adorable but the fullset really helped drive it home, those winged sleeves especially. The rest of my crew is probably going to have to step up to keep up with him. We have a botanical garden with a walking trail and I really want to do a photoshoot with him there.

I'm really looking forward to meeting people while at Dolpa so maybe we'll bump into each other! I don't really know what to expect since this is my first year going.

 

Yahoo! I have received shipping notification for my DD Hatsune Miku Reboot! I'm super excited as I've wanted one for a long time. She'll be my second Volks doll after Miko, which will become a trio the day 2B arrives.

So, we are looking at October or November for the 2B and 9S DDs to arrive?

Whew, I’ve been wondering when Volks would be requesting the rest of the payment. I’ve been sweating bullets, afraid of missing the invoice and having it get buried in all the junk emails I receive!

I ordered 9S, to go with my two other DD boys, and I did the down payment option.....
Lol, not going that route again! Too hard on my nerves and my stomach, I hate having payments hanging over me!
I’m just going to pay in full from here on out.

 

Well, decided to jump in on a FCS, an F-73 girl. A bit nerve-wracking with all those choices, but really looking forward to seeing her. Should arrive sometime in early October!

Oh man! I bet those payments were killer. I ordered 9S too and I’m so excited and impatient! It’s killing me. He was my first ever doll that I ordered and I’ll have 3 other dolls before he even arrives. I just checked the Volks USA website again and he says Fall, so here’s to hoping Fall means September and not like early December.

Oh man! I just saw a tweet from Volks regarding the Nier dolls. It looks like their production facility had been damaged by one of the typhoons and they’re pushing back the delivery dates. If you’ve ordered between 10/20 through 10/31, delivery is early December. If you ordered in November, delivery will be in April 2020. After that, final orders from December will be in May 2020. Such devastating news!

 

Wow I ordered both in December because I waffled about preordering them. Yeesh... a year and a half wait total - that's like Dollshe wait times haha.

 

I reached out to Volks USA to see how their orders will be impacted. They said they will be reaching out to customers with updated schedules soon. I’m really devastated that it’s been so long and now we have to wait longer but I can at least understand the reasoning. I’m glad they’re being forthright about it now instead of come November or December and not a word.

 

Yeah, I haven't bought any dolls since last year, and at Dolpa LA I didn't win any of the lotteries so I was like "well at least I have the Nier dolls coming in November." Today I did win a Dollfie Icon (which I thought was a long shot) so I am happy I will still be getting a doll in November. Here's hoping they don't tack another extra month or 2 on for Volks USA customers

 

I'm glad you shared the update you found via twitter. I'm also really devastated after seeing them putting out all the Miku's and Re:Zero girls along with those re-releases of dolls where people only had to wait a week. I'd been waiting for an update hopefully we hear more definite news from Volks USA like you said.

 

I’m waiting on a SD standard Mai! My sweet husband gifted me a doll for a wedding present. It was the first doll in a very long time that made me swoon. The fact that she’s a wedding gift makes her the most special doll I’ll ever own.

 

I ordered via the FCS this month. I maybe kinda ordered two dolls that I'll be swapping the heads of... Right now I'm having a moment of regret that I spent that much money, but they're going to be so gorgeous that I'm sure I'll feel better later.

Caved and got that secondhand msd f-10 head i've been eyeing for a long while despite all the problems that head had XDDDD it's so hard to find that model anywhere, i hope i can make him look good. I think my friend's gonna ship it to me soon, just need to wait like maybe within a month...?

Paid the rest of 9S off, now just waiting for end of January. Ephram(My Isao whose head has been off getting repainted by Volks) is also on his way back to the US. Yeee.

 

Waiting on my Suiseiseki! She has been stopped in German customs for over a week now and I am nervous she will not arrive in time for Christmas. Here's to hoping! I suppose I have waited ten years to own her, so what's a few weeks more?

i just finished ordering an older f-01 off ya!japan auctions that i plan to restore! she’s in pretty rough condition so i’m eager to get her in hand and see how much work she’s gonna need.

she has arrived with the shopping service and should be on her way home very soon !! i’m super excited !!

 

@c4tbus She just cleared customs this morning in NY! I think she will arrive by the end of this week, thank goodness!

How funny, I also just bought an F-01 on impulse on Y!J! Mine shipped to the warehouse so she hasn't yet arrived. I can't wait to see yours and what you do to her!

and my f-01 was a bit of an impulse purchase too! but the same night i saw her while browsing i had a dream about her, so she left me no choice ....... but i’m very excited for her and also eager to see how she turns out. haha!

 

@c4tbus Such strange coincidence! Now I am afraid we bought the same girl somehow haha. They will probably have the same birthday! The one I got is also in need of a bit of love, I am thinking of dying her if her yellowing is really bad. Give her a sunlight skin look. She is from 2004 so she definitely has some uneven color!

I am still going over ideas! I had a plan then looked at other people’s face ups, and he’s blank so sky’s the limit. Thinking of making him a little anime nerd so I have an excuse to buy more tiny figures

Tracking says he’s in transit and arriving late. I don’t know if I should skip the gym to wait for him or if he will not show today.

 

My 9S DD is sitting in customs right now, he's my first doll so I can't wait! >w<

If anyone has suggestions on a list of doll care items that would be great though, I'm still slightly lost in that aspect ^^;

There are a few cosmetic changes you can unlock, and 1 other outfit as far as i know

 

How long does stuff normally sit in customs this time of year? I got an update that my boy’s head will probably not be here today

 

This is my first time ordering something so expensive from overseas, so I'm not too sure, maybe a few days or even a week, it is near Christmas after all. :')

I hope you get the head soon, and as I said it is Christmas soon so the post is probably drowning in packages

I’ve been watching the tracking all morning. It’s out for delivery now. I hope it will be okay sitting on the porch. I swear if someone takes it I’ll go berserk since he’s not worth a ton but basically irreplaceable due to his age..

Ephram's package got sent to the wrong post office by mistake yesterday, one an hour away from us. D: I called them and fortunately they were willing to set it aside and I went down and fetched him. I knew where he was and that he was safe, I didn't want him going back into the wind to maybe get damaged or misrouted again or even lost!

So one boy down, one to wait for in January.

 

My Suiseiseki finally made it out of German customs only to get stuck in US customs She hasn't moved since Sunday so I have lost hope she will get here in time for Christmas. At least I can open her wig and new eyes! Glad to here others' packages are moving along well!

ooohhhhh my goodness. just checked the tracking for my doll and apparently they attempted delivery today !?! i guess the tracking never updated or something. looks like i’ll be picking her up from the post office tomorrow.

My Suiseiseki arrived today by surprise! Her tracking still says she is in customs but she was delivered. Her box was um, well . Absolutely destroyed to put it lightly! Utterly crushed and completely soaked in water. By some miracle, she is not damaged! I will post box opening pictures after Christmas, but thought you all might get a kick out of the horror that was this box!

 

Merry Christmas! Today I got to open my Suiseiseki. I posted the box opening for anyone interested here.

My F-01 might be here tomorrow; just a day after she was supposed to be! So anxious to get to work on her.

My Rapunzel shipped today I’m so excited, she’ll be my first resin doll. Hopefully she will arrive in a week or two.

 

I’m still waiting for my 9S doll to come, but he got out of customs a few days ago and the fee wasn’t as high as expected, though they revised it. I guess maybe the conversion rate was different than to when I looked it up aha. Still, £130 in customs! >.<);

The delivery was scheduled and hopefully he will come in a few more days!

I am back in the waiting room! Waiting for my favorite, sweetest girl ever, Mimi Sweet Dream and the first 1/6th for me, YoSD Colin!

 

I'm baaaaaack. I just bought another grail, Volks Williams (the Young Ensign). I can't believe I just knocked another one off the list! I'm going a little crazy right now with the purchases

He is essentially brand new in the box, so opening him will be just like getting him from Volks! Hopefully he gets here quickly and safely.
