Volks Waiting Room v3!

I will have my FCS F-36 next month, can't wait for him to arrive.....so I need to get him some clothing and shoes. Wish Volks would post their measurements of all their dolls.....guessing what size clothing they wear can be a pain

 

Still paying off both my DD girls and now saving for more of them. Whelp, I'll be coming in and out of here forever I think. 8D

My SDGr Lorina is in country already, so she should be home this week!

 

My School B head has shipped from Singapore and I've just ordered her some 18mm Hand Glass Craft eyes in turquoise. Hopefully they will come together

I realllly hope the new Sabers are both hideously disfigured in the face and that their costumes look terrible. It was enough for me to have issues with the mouth to pass on Mari, and I am an insane Mari fangirl. I don't need a doll for a character I am not even fond of just because she's so pretty. I have a policy with my PVC figures now that I can't buy it because the figure is pretty or has an especially interesting pose if it's not on the list of characters I adore. I just keep telling myself I sold my Kanu because she was a little too happy looking and the vinyl upkeep was tiresome. Kanu Unchou happens to be my most favourite female character from anything ever, so it makes no sense to get Saber if I couldn't keep Kanu.

I am currently waiting for a YoSD Rengemaru to be my Yuh's older brother. Reiji's supposed to be a bitey little bratty crossdresser, so buying him clothing is going to be fun.

 

I'm waiting for my Lorina, which I have bought at the market place. I'm so happy that I finally could buy her.

 

My DD girl just shipped and is in transit currently, may only take another day or two really. I know I'll never be leaving this waiting room - too many characters to put into vinyl!

My Lorina arrived yesterday! I'll post pictures as soon as the MSC odour faded a bit, because I cought a lot when I dressed her on.

 

I have secured myself of being in here for quite a long while. Not only have I officially gathered all my funds together so I can afford a DD Saber Alter once pre-order is up (Yay for having savings!) assuming her price won't be over $800, but on top of that I have placed my very own DD Saber Lily on layaway (Finally) and so...I'll happily stalk this room for a year or so. xD

 

Congrats, Kat... XD A year seems a long time, but I'll be there with you, I think. XD I just made payments for both Beato and Kanu... One more month to go. D: I'm soooo impatient.

XD Well he gave me a year long layaway, but I highly doubt I'll actually take that long. I've just got a really intense budget for the next few months which is why I took it. But, anyways, thank you! I am really excited to FINALLY be getting her. I mean...13 failed attempts really does take a toll on someones motivation to get. xD Congrats on the payments on your girls! Almost there! :3 I can't wait to see what you do with them~~~

 

Finally ordered an SD13 Elena, I've been wanting one for a long time. I have been waiting to get some limited dresses (now available) and decided to finally just get a Volks doll too. I've wanted an Elena for a long time, so I'm pretty excited.
BTW, I got the Charlotte ribbon dress and midnight scent if you were wondering, I think both are nice, but I REALLY wanted the Charlotte dress. I also wanted the milky nighty just for the bloomers, but I'm sure that I could find another set of bloomers somewhere as I didn't really like the dress. It would be kind of cruel to buy something someone else might really want for a peripheral.

 

Kat : I don't have anymore funds... XD Just spent my spare money on a body for Alna... She has been sitting there patiently waiting for one! XD I just had to buy the body for her... :3

I can't wait to order her now, so I don't know how I will manage waiting for two months - it's been a long time since I wanted a doll so much (but maybe the fact, that all my dolls are far away now has something to do with it )

 

Hi everyone. After a few years hiatus, I am adopting my next wishlist girl, SD16 Kira! She'll complete my vision of my girl growing up using the 4 Sisters. Right now I'm designing her faceup and character while I wait. =)

I still haven't placed my order... I've got reference photos for makeup with me all the time now, but I was simply to tired after whole day of lectures (besides, it was late, about hour before closing when I was able to finally go there), so I still have to go to sumika and place my order (maybe today? ).
Though I am having second thoughts, I am not sure if I choose the right head >.< It's just - I couldn't find many owner pictures and I've only seen it unpainted (besides two photos that didn't show the head on the angle I wanted), so I'm not sure if what I have in mind will go with this head...

 

I'm waiting on DDS Akira . I also just ordered a DDdy body for an SQ Lab head I got in the MP. My Dollfie Dream collection is growing XD. Now I've got to convince myself I don't need Saber Alter...

But 3 months? Is it that long in LA? Here, in Tokyo, they told me that blank doll is 1 month and with makeup - 2 months (which is my case, couldn't resist "free" makeup)

 

I just paid off Akira through KL! And my DDdy body is on the delivery truck to me today.

 

Daris- yes, my F-01 has makeup service (I can't resist "free" makeup, either lol).. so two months is right.
But Volks USA use sea freight for their shipment.. even for their FCS orders.
So there's gonna be one extra month traveling for my dear F-01...
But I am ok with the wait. (I think)

 

I'm happy to say I pre-ordered my very first Volks doll =D. I caved in for the Saber Alter since I wanted a DD for a very long time. I'm in the 2nd pre-order batch so that means around March I think that I will expect my dolly and taking in Dutch customs that will keep her hostage for 2 weeks or more.

Hopefully in 2012 I get to put another volks doll in my collection when I sign up through FCS. I'll be doing that through the American website so she can be sent to my bf in NY. I'll be visiting him in the summer, that way she doesnt have to go through Dutch customs who let me always pay me up through my nose for items that are not available in my country.

Did you order your Saber from Volks USA? I think second batch of Saber is schedule to deliver around June. And the first batch is April...

Also, FCS can not be ordered through website. It has to be done by either visiting Volks USA show room or in NY DP. But if you are ordering standard version of dollfies, then you can order him/she from their website.

and... BIG CONGRATS to your Saber. I was thinking to get a Saber, too. But then I gave all my money to my F-01 girl..... LOL

You actually have until Feb/March to complete your payment if you don't have the full amount now. This is the first time Volks USA is attempting a layaway service.

 

Maankatje2000 lives in Europe so I think it's from the Volks International site, and she's right, the shipping would be in March. ^^

 

But lucyhayashi lives in Los Angeles and she was thinking of getting a Saber

I'll probably order a FCS through an agent. So hard to get Volks dolls xD but its worth it.

 

My FCS doll is done....now I am waiting for him to come home.

 

Haha. Yeah. Volks USA's Saber shipping schedule for first batch is in April and second one in June.
There's always one extra month wait from Volks USA. But well, so true, Maankatje2000, it's all worth it for one Volks doll.

I ordered my saber a couple of weeks ago. I did they payment plan. So I am hoping to have all the money by feb, which is my birthday.
