Yay for joining Dollfie Land!

I have three DDP, one DDS, and two DDB. Someday I’d love to add more, but I’ll have to wait and focus on my crew for now.

 

I decided to get Miku the "Winter Delicacy" outfit, and I am glad I did! Its super cute, and she look so happy wearing food-based clothes which I find hilarious!

Our latest arrivals - Dollfie Dream Sisters Chisato and Takina from Lycoris Recoil. It's a cult anime with a mix of John Wick gun stuff and light novel slice of life stuff. It just got the go ahead for a series of new movies.

They've proven very popular, with both selling out almost immediately. Chisato (red) is slightly more popular but I think they did a magnificent job of capturing Takina's (blue) pouty look from the show. Their alternative outfits are also available (viewers will remember these from the infamous aquarium scenes).

Their outfits are great and they have a new feature... gun holding hands. Volks might release these separately at some point. They're also on the new v2 body type that was debuted with Konosuba Aqua. They're more posable, especially when lying down.

 

@Xiongmao oh, wow! Both are so cute! Congratulations on getting both!

 

Has anyone found a close resin match to DD normal /flesh?
Beside Vings and Shoushou I always only see resin companies doing the DD semi white color.
I would love some body options for dollfie heads.

 

Evantasy has both semi white and normal swatches.

It seems they don't have msd boy bodies so far, so would be great if others now more companies

Might be a bit of a long shot, but... has anyone paired SD13 size vinyl or resin boys with their DD girls? I'm seeking boys within their height range, but turning up empty more than any success.

56cm - 62cm preferably is my range.

 

@Nissa I don't know if this is helpful, but here is my DD between both an SD13 and SD10 boy. She does look better next to my SD13. He's a little taller but it seems more natural. Tho personally I've always found vinyl looks best alongside other vinyl, that's more of an aesthetic choice.

Hi all, I'm looking at picking up a DD body for a head I've had for several years, but I've been out of the doll hobby long enough that I'm now totally unfamiliar with where to get clothes! I don't want to pull the trigger on the body until I have at least one outfit for it. Where do you recommend shopping for DD items besides secondhand markets and the Volks store? I'm thinking about a DD-f3 S bust specifically, if that helps. No preference on clothing style as long as the quality is decent. I've been looking at Etsy but the search function on there is not great these days. Thank you!!

 

@kirei I know Doll Hearts does clothes for DD bodies. Looking at their website, I see DD-L bust, DD-M bust, and DDdy. You could ask them if any of there clothes would fit that specific bust.

 

I was wondering the appeal of the Dollfie Icon dolls, I am tempted by the petal skinned one, but I am not sure of the appeal of the Mint or Lilac dolls. Any thoughts, I might discover a new appreciation for them.

I finally got together enough energy to put Ellis back together! He's been waiting for several months and all I really needed to do was dig out a better t-shirt for him to wear under his sukajan. Which is ridiculously big on him. I guess he stole it from his older brother or something.

He's a DD Kaito with a cute-as-heck freckledy faceup by AngelToast.

 

Honestly, with their fantasy-colored skins, I find them to be "alien beauties," as if humanoid aliens found some 1950s rock and roll dance TV shows and decided to emulate the people they saw on them.

Icons are to me, beautiful, fun and stylish.

@Gallye, Ellis is really cute! Also, TIL what a "sukajan" is. I've always wanted one for myself, but my Miku has one instead.

I've had my eye on this little lady for a while. She looks absolutely stunning irl. I got her to celebrate the 5th anniversary of buying my first Dollfie.

This latest arrival is Idolmaster's Fumika Sagisawa. Thankfully she's not too rare and I didn't pay a grail-like price for her. The only annoying thing is that her alternative outfit is grail-priced.

Here she is in her default outfit. Her wig is the blackest black I've ever seen. She also has a strange sock setup which means she can't wear a bodysuit (unless you're genius enough to figure it out). Her outfit is mostly white, but socks can stain when they stand for extended periods of time.

She comes with a microphone and an extra pair of hands.

 

Congrats I'm a big fan of that franchise so I enjoy seeing the dollfies a lot! I'm afraid I don't have any insight on the socks as I haven't seen any official art on how they intend for them to hold them up. I hope you can find a way

 

I’m going to try to save up for a Dollfie Dream for my birthday in November. It’s so hard, because I’m admittedly addicted to online shopping, but I’m determined to bring one home this year. I have my heart set on one of the standard models: DDP Ribbon. She’s just so precious!

 

DDP are cute. I was looking at Ribbon and Coron but eventually I settled on Iori and Yayoi. It took me forever to find Iori's outfit.

I don't have Miku in any kind of Halloween outfit, but she is wearing a fall outfit, so it should count...right? I love how serious she looks in this outfit, like she's going to school and isn't very happy about it.

Did anybody else order the new Ddh-33 head? I’m excited to see what people do with it! I got one in flesh.

 

I didn't end up biting the bullet, but I do like it quite a bit! I look forward to seeing what people do with it, too.
