Doot doo-doo, just lurking in the thread...
I ordered the new RGM body-07 back in October. Any guesses as to when Ringdoll might decide to ship my fellow? He's got a head waiting to color match...

 

My Baldwin arrived! Well, he actually arrived about two weeks ago, but I hadn't had time to take pictures of him until yesterday.

 

Oh gosh! I can't wait to get my Baldwin!

 

I keep checking for a shipping notice, and then I remember that I kept adding to my order. New feet? Yes, please. Ooh, new hands? Add to order, please. Oh, I'll take a new outfit, too.
I am my own worst enemy.

 

My Baldwin fullset shipped! I had ordered a lot of extras with it, but pleasantly surprised at the turnaround time. Order was placed October 13 for reference.

 

Here's hoping my fellow ships soon!

I think I just ordered the last Misha they had? I think it was in stock... They haven't shipped it yet. It's been only four work days though. I'm very excited. I wanted that doll since the day it came out, and it was on sale.

 

My 70cm Alpha body is paid off! Now to settle in for the long wait...

Decided to check in on my Wo Long fullset on the teeniest chance that it would be ready before May hit and no luck, RD estimated another 2 months, alas

 

Aaand my Misha arrived. Quickest move in and move out from the waiting room ever xD

 

If I remember correctly I think my last full set took around 8-9 months. Pheww, the wait time was tough!!

 

My Hua Cheng is coming today! I'm so excited!

 

My Bast fullset is on it's way! After eight months, which is about what I expected. Whoof, wait times are brutal these days.

Finally getting close (1 month to go!) to paying of Baldwin and just put Hua Cheng on layaway. I am destined to be in the Ringdoll waiting room forever.

Alice told me 2-3 months on Alpha earlier this week, so imagine my surprise when they send me a tracking number for him yesterday!!

I got the standard fullset. I really love the spine and clear torso as well as all the other silver parts. I think he will be amazing. Which one did you go for?

I want to see pics when you both have him!!! I wish Ringdoll would allow, if you buy a fullset, you could get the head of the other.

 

I wish. The heads are actually fairly different from each other. Mori version has a stronger brow bone, smaller eyes and shorter nose. I actually like the face up on the standard set more then the mori version (the white jaw looks weird to me) but I liked the sculpt more on the mori version. There will be lots of infighting with my self on if I wipe the bottom part of the jaw or not lol

 

Yes, they are so different and beautiful! The Mori sculpt is so impressive; you are so lucky to have it, I am so happy for you!

Sorry everyone for the large caps there; I am just amazed that Frankenstein is here and I am a lover of Egyptian Goddess/Gods and Ringdoll has out done themselves in making Anubis and Bast! I want Ramessess II as well but I have to wait a bit on that.

No worries Saphariel, the Ringdoll Customer Service Team are really good about communicating with you when you email them to confirm payment. They even say on the site to email to double confirm as well. I had to do my order at night too because of the difference in time zones for the event sale.

 

Hiya, more experienced RingDoll fans!

I've never ordered direct from RingDoll before, but that Frankenstein got me. I ordered the Mori9 version last night (I'm crazy about his exposed teeth when you take his lower jaw away!) and paid in full for him, but RingDoll has instructions about getting "double confirmation" via email. Is there any chance my order didn't go through before they ran out of Mori9 sets? I did get a payment confirmation but this insistence on double confirmation makes me wonder.

 

I will email them and ask. But if he isn't sold out on the site I assume you got him.

 

The Mori9 fullset was showing as sold out for me when I made the post.

It seems all is well. They replied and confirmed my order. I haven't ordered from RingDoll before so I didn't know what to expect.

Did everyone see Ringdoll's new post on Instagram for Frankenstein! They showed a more detail view of him with them putting on the clear chest pieces! I didn't know his face flips up on the standard version too! I am so excited and can't wait for him to arrive, just gorgeous!

I love this Instagram post because they flip up the Mori9 head just a little to show the teeth. That's what got me. I love the clear torso and will likely have that on mine all the time. The face flip is so cool too!

The videos have made me want him even more. I can't wait to see him irl.

 

I wanted to buy Mori9's fullset, but I also like original head too. So I asked ringdoll about buying additional head. And they agreed So now I wait for Mori9 fullset + additional standart head with makeup

 

Joining everyone waiting for a Frankenstein 2025 standard version. I waited until last minute for him... I had a hard time deciding while I was quite sure my collection was totally done.

But in the end I had to order him! I was hoping for Ringdoll to do a re-release of him at some point. I always remember looking at a few of the other versions when they came up on the marketplace and loving them all but it never aligned for me to have one so I'm so excited!

 

My Wo Long full set is on his way yaaaay! I ordered back in early Nov last year, so about an 8 month wait.

 

Finally paid the shipping for my Baldwin. I will have him to play with while waiting for my Frankenstein who is on a one year layaway with BJDivas.

 

My Wo Long arrived!! Ordered nov 11 last year. I...did not realize he was 78 cm obviously I did not read closely hahaa I thought he was gonna be like 73 or something whoops. But he's beautiful!!! and his fullset is amazing ❤️❤️❤️. It's going to take me like 3 hours to get him dressed with all the accessories and I love that I got both the sleeping head and the normal because they are super lovely. Will post pics in the discussion thread! I got him blank so I'll have to figure out how I want to paint him.

 

Hua Cheng paid off too so now i'm waiting for both he and Baldwin to ship. I am going to be stalking the postie once I get tracking.

 

Longtime BJD photography appreciator so I took the plunge and ordered Lucifer 2.0 fullset with the wings as an add-on through LegendDoll when I heard it was getting discontinued. I have always liked Ring Doll's military looks and especially like his west-meets-east hybrid military outfit, but hoping I can order some extra Fallen Angel accessories as well through RingDoll directly. Waiting to hear from them now if they will be able to.

Legend Doll said my order would take 5-6 months, probably because of the wings... so I think I'll be waiting awhile. I want to try to find him articulated hands too in the meantime, but I'm not sure which maker would match size & skin tone for Ring Doll normal 75cm. Anyone have any advice?

Sad to see RingDoll took down their official youtube videos! What else am I supposed to look at while I wait so long? Bit of a long shot but did anyone by chance backup the YT promo videos? I thought they were very good reference.

Hua Cheng made it home. It took me over 2 hours to unpack him and get him dressed, but it was worth it. The RGM5 body he is on is huge compared to my old RGM1 boys.

 

He looks amazing!!!

And I’m back in the waiting room as I ordered the 1/4 Baldwin Jerusalem fullset (plus extra fancy metal hands) - very excited about this!!! The armour looks amazing m, I can’t wait until he gets here!!!

 

First post on DOA I finally splurged and bought 1/4 Anubis even though I really wanted the full size one, but it was too expensive hopefully anubis jr can make it home soon

 

Next month I should be able to finish paying off my Mori9 Frankenstein. I am so excited.

 

Guys I'm back in this waiting room and about to order Ramesses II.

Apparently he's not in stock but still available. So that'll be a long wait.

My Alpha body (and hopefully the wig I added to my order later) has shipped!

Edit: He's touched down in my state capital. With any luck he'll arrive before the end of next week

 

My Alpha body and wig for another doll made it home in record speed!

He was very well wrapped, there were no scratches on his electroplating, and his arms and legs came wired from Ringdoll. He's posing very well out of the box, especially for his size and weight.
Like other people said further upthread, he's taller than I expected: I ordered the 70cm version but he'll be closer to 75cm with a head on.

The only criticism I have is that there's a T-shaped hole in the torso for where the optional tail goes in. I didn't order the tail, and the skin-coloured resin piece to go in the hole has no magnets or notches to keep it in place, and given the 2-part torso, it's hard to access from the inside. I'll likely have to secure this "tail plug" with eye putty. This is a minor inconvenience compared to how well he handles.

 

I think The Mori9 Frankenstein should get her late December or Jan. GOD I want Pestilence so bad. Though... I am wondering why they didn't give Pestilence (actually Conquest) a bow. Because thats what he is depicted with.

 

Ordered the 1/4 Baldwin (sp) back in July. I like how I keep checking if he's shipped like a delusional person haha. I'm a sucker for armored hands.

I have finally payed of my Mori9 version of Frankenstein.

 

Today I finished paying off my first BJD, Pestilence!! Not the fullset, but the basic doll with face-up! (I got him through their recent offer). I'm beyond excited, his face was love at first sight, which was why I decided to finally make the purchase

 

Welllll…. I just put a Dracula fullset on order. I was kicking myself for letting him get away the last time he was released, so I just couldn’t resist putting him on layaway with the rerelease…

 

My ShinyFairy Hana from Bluefairy has finally shipped! She's one of the BJDs I've wanted most, and I've dreamed of being able to afford to order from Bluefairy directly since 2009, which is most of my adult life XD! I'm so stupidly happy right now. I hope she comes fast and unscathed. Since I asked to send her unstrung in the smallest box they have, I'm a little worried (both for the small box AND because I will have to restring her myself... not my first time doing that either, but I pretty much suck at it XD)

Congratulations! I just ordered him also on a long layaway with BJDivas. I went for NS as it is pretty pale. What did you go for? I am so hopelessly in love with the big Ringdoll boys.

 

I have the 1/3 version and he is amazing. The armor is so detailed and they did a great job with his faceup.
