I finally got a shipping notice for the jointed hands I ordered (directly from RS). Goodness, that was approaching two months! Honestly though, as I said before, I'm glad they're busy. I just adore them to bits.

 

I woke up to a shipping notice, too! But... I'm going to be out of town next week So I won't be here when my package arrives. I'm going to ask my neighbor to watch for it, but I won't be able to get it for sure until the 4th.

I can finally join this thread now. I placed an order for a Light Tan Mi on the Su body with a custom face up. I've been researching Resinsoul's custom face ups and I've seen some really beautiful work from them. I've had Resinsoul dolls in the past but have never got a face up from them before so this will be the first time. I guess I can settle in for a bit of a wait judging by what has been said on this thread!

Those of you who have ordered the jointed hands from them, what do you think of them? I didn't order one with this order but I might order some later but I'm just not sure. I used to have jointed hands from Dikadoll but they swivelled around so much, it drove me bonkers. I'm wondering if the Resinsoul ones are similar?

 

@Myuuchan: Congrats! I was so super excited when I looked at my phone and realized that I'd finally gotten a tracking number from Sun. Sorry to hear that you'll be out of town! Oh no! Waiting, waiting... I think this hobby has taught me quite a lot about patience. LOL.

@shirahime: Congrats on your order! To be honest, I had no idea that RS actually did custom faceups. That's... awesome, actually. Hopefully your wait won't be too terribly long. I was a bit surprised that my jointed hands took close to two months, but I've had a lot going on recently and haven't thought about it much. So, it wasn't bad.

 

@Mekkisry I didn't know either but I was browsing the Resinsoul Discussion thread (for the larger dolls) and someone had mentioned getting a custom face up from them. So I just emailed Sun and asked about it to confirm this was the case direct from the company. I want one of their Yo-SD dolls one day but that will be a while yet.

 

@shirahime: That's awesome to know! I've had my eye on Nian (because... Dragons. LOL.), and the thought of having him custom painted is quite tempting indeed. *plots*

 

Weeeeell my trip ended up canceled at the last minute, but that means I was able to be here to sign for my package. Can I just say I'm really impressed with how much ResinSoul has developed through the years? The resin quality has improved so much and I've never seen parts so perfectly sanded. I can't wait to get to work!

 

Congrats @Myuuchan. Have you posted a box opening for your new doll? I used to own a few Resinsouls but that was a number of years ago. This one will be the first in a long while so your feedback makes me happy. I can't wait for mine but I still have a bit of a wait.

 

I just ordered the deerling Spring in custom colours, I'm excited for her to get here~ Her human parts are light tan while the deer parts are dark tan, her hooves are going to be a translucent dark green. Does anyone else have one of the deerlings?

I just got a shipping notice from Angelesque - I ordered in January, so it's been exactly 6 months. I think that's the longest I've ever had to wait for Resinsoul.

 

And he's here. Arrived on Friday, actually.

 

Has anyone had issues contacting resinsoul? I just tried sending them an email to ask about my order status but it got returned to me with a weird error.

 

Forgot to update here, but my Dan arrived exactly 8 weeks after I placed the order.

 

I got an e-mail yesterday telling me my Bao body had been shipped and it seems to have already left the export office. I paid on June 20. It's going to be the human form of my Summer centaur, just swapping out the head. I'm expecting so much doll mail in the next 6 weeks or so, it's very exciting!

Placed my order yesterday for Mei on Rong's body! First doll and I'm so excited! It's been a long time in the making and Sun said that she'd be shipped out in about a month as I ordered directly from resinsoul. It's pretty funny because I've got a cast on my wrist right now and it'll be coming off in about a month so the timing will be perfect.

 

I ordered a RS Dai with jointed hands through Denver Doll in May, I had no idea it would take this long! I've ordered direct through Sun before, but I thought this time I'd use DDE because I didn't mind waiting awhile since the head I ordered the body for (Flower and Junior Char) would take awhile to arrive & would need a faceup etc. So I just got the head back from the faceup artist, I'd really love to have the body! My first 12/3 size doll

 

Ordered a pair of MSD Female jointed hands in Normal through Angelesque 01/10/2018 (In US format 10/01/2018)
I know that they are putting the orders through on the 28th and it takes a month to make the hands (I messaged Resin Soul for time approximations before) but I suspect it will take longer
I just hope the resin will match

 

Another one who's ordered Mei, with a switch to Rong's body as well as some articulated hands. I was also told a month, so here's hoping!

 

For me it's been well over a month with my Mei with Rong's body. I sent an email yesterday so I'm hoping to hear something. Being patient is hard especially since she's my first doll.

I’m waiting for a Lan with closed eyes with the body of a Zhen. Sun told me that because of the size of the Lan head (it’s smaller than the Zhen’s) they will have to do some modifications.
I’m quite excited to see her, she is supposed to arrive mid December!
I sold my previous Resinsoul Lan so I’m hopeful that this girl will stay with me longer

 

I ordered a white skin 72 cm body (for my Dikadoll Xibatian), a white skin 1/6 body (for my Dollzone Krumi), normal skin 1/4 jointed hands (for my Dikadoll Monica/Doll Leaves hybrid) and normal skin 1/4 heeled feet for a friend's doll! Woof, knocking off a lot of to-dos with this order... though matching the blushing is going to be interesting, for sure!

 

Man I was hoping I'd get my doll on the fast end, but I'm about to hit the 16 week mark.

 

I ordered RS Mei and Jian on the 4th of December from DDE. They were both in stock and shipped on the 5th. As of about 10 minutes ago, they've been scanned into Australia, which means they should arrive a few days after Christmas if I am lucky.
All of my items (even 14mm eyes) have been held by customs for over a week. I'm pretty sure I'm on some sort of terrorist or drug smuggling list because they are always very keen to not only keep, but open, most of my parcels. BTW...I'm not either of those things!

 

All I want for Christmas is my resinsoul bodddyyyyyyy......

 

Our dolls arrived today! Australia Post didn't manage to slow down their postage, apparently by forgetting to scan them at any point between customs and delivery. Even when I called and questioned their 'tracking' they told me that they were still in customs...not true! It scares me that I know their system better than they do!
But they are both here and I have no idea where to show photos or anything on here for new arrivals, so won't be posting yet.

 

Omg I have had something like that happen before. A doll was sent in to parts and his tracking said his legs were still in China up until the day he was delivered.

I ordered my Rs Yang on the 1/3 body (61 cm) and im soooo excited for him to arrive, the communication with Sun was so smooth.
I think I have about 25 days before he gets shipped.

I ordered a Yao head (and horns) on a Rong body in grey resin a couple of days ago. This is my first fantasy color bjd (not counting white). I'm really looking forward to getting her!

 

My order shipped today! I'm quite excited - especially since this will be my last doll order for a while, and my beloved Mugetsu will be complete...! Oh, and Soujoubou too, I guess. Super stoked to get them, at any rate...

 

Sun told me about 45 days when I placed my order on Jan 8. Almost there! I'm trying not to get too excited, since I know it might be a bit longer before it ships. And then I have to wait for it to get to the US. Eep!

 

Just put in an order for a body for my floating head. So now the wait begins.
I haven't had a confirmation email yet, probably later today.

I haaaate the waiiiiit. But eh.

It'll be nice to have this doll finished at least.

 

I just got the mail from Sun that the package was sent a few days ago. Usually I don't get them until after the package actually arrives here, so that probably means it's in customs.

Edited to add: Yes, the girls have arrived! They did go through customs, but the fee was very reasonable.

 

DDE please ship my body! She's paid off as of yesterday but I started layaway in the beginning of March. Gah, I need to be patient.

Edit 5/7: I did shoot them an email and they said at least another month. I'm going to save a bunch from my bonus at the end of the month to order directly from resinsoul for my boy I want.

Edit 7/9: Aaaaand I emailed DDE and got told it's going to be another 3-4 weeks. This is taking forever. At this rate, my direct from resinsoul order is going to come before the one I ordered in March.

Edit 8/2: finally a shipping notice! Yayyyyyyyy! I expected to wait 16 weeks and instead waited 21... I think dde needs to update their expected wait times.

 

I ordered a Rong body 2 weeks ago for Ayla (Mei). I am doing a 3 part layaway but I forgot to ask Sun how often I should make payments. Can anyone tell me? I'm planning on putting an order in with Harucasting next fortnight, so sort of need to know if I need to be budgeting for a payment to ResinSoul as well, or if it's a monthly thing or...tbh, I hate owing money so I will be paying her off on the 18th anyway...just don't know if 4 weeks between payments is acceptable.

 

Just placed a customize resin with Resinsoul for Yi Body. They said it would take a month. Hopefully, I will see him soon!

 

Ugh I know I said I have to be patient but it's been almost another month and it's killing me. I guess it's because Resinsoul has a general reputation for shorter times? Bleh. At this rate I bet this body isn't going to work with my hybrid. It'd be just my luck. (Though I know that's just my anxiety talking...)

 

I paid off my Rong body on the 18th and received a message from Sun the next day saying that it would be posted some time this week. No word yet as to if it's been posted or not. But I hope it arrives before the end of school holidays so I can do her tattoos

 

My girl's Rong body arrived today! So happy. I've fallen in love with her again now that she can pose in similar ways to my other dolls (all double jointed). The resin colour is noticeably different which I showed in the unboxing video, but overall I'm very happy with the ease of ordering and payment, and how quickly she was ready to be shipped and then the delivery time was probably only around 7-8 days.

I ordered my red Mu with black hooves! He's actually coming in only a month according to Sun. I'm so excited! I need to get him a wig but his temporary eyes (until I commission some) are already on the way. This boy's getting a bunch of mods when he arrives, but Iker will be home soon.

I'll definitely be posting him here. He's going to be my baby. He's getting extra eyes (unsure if I'll be giving new eye holes or just drawing them on...), shortened ears, and a tail. Maybe some scarring but definitely a beard. I'm just getting more excited hahaha.

Yesterday I ordered RS Ya in group order (it's going on at Russian BJD-club board).
At first I planned for her to be the present for my mum, hence the most neutral mold among the most affordable ones, although I've ordered it in all bjd glory - with face-up, blushing, additional jointed hands and heeled feet, because of the initial plan. I'm still undecided wether to gift it or take for myself (for various reasons, the most important being that my mum still han't entirely warmed up to the BJDs, and also my cat broke her camera accidentally). Or it can nicely fit into one of my constantly expanding BJD tales ;-)

 

Has anyone got shipment notice from Resinsoul yet?? It has been a month and a half for me I haven’t heard from them.

 

Monday: I ordered a Resinsoul Gang from Junky Spot. He should be getting shipped out sometime tomorrow.

It's funny when I first saw the sculpture I was like, 'meh'. I think he has a lot of possibilities, his body looks quite mobile too. I've seen other peoples versions of him and some of them look really great. I am definitely going to change up his faceup, as he comes with it already made up, and I don't care much for it. I got some plans of how I want to paint him. I also have a head coming from Alice Collections, in case it doesn't work out.

I am rambling because I am excited about him coming home.

Wednesday: (8-7) I really hope they ship him soon, the UPS originally said he would be here the following Monday, but now it's saying they don't know when he will get here, as he hasn't been dropped off to be sent yet. I trust Junky Spot, I just wish he could be mailed already and on his way to me soon. Maybe later tonight when I check UPS he will have been shipped. :crosses fingers::

Thursday: (8-8) I emailed before Junky Spot closed for the weekend. They told my UPS was supposed to pick up packages days ago, but did pick them all up today. He has officially been shipped! I am very happy, and Junky Spot is great with communication.

Wednesday: (8-14) He will be delivered tomorrow!!! I am very happy! My head from Alice Collections will also be here tomorrow, and I am really not sure which one I am going to go with for the doll.
