Darli is very sweet and understanding. She is Ayla's only real human friend and she understands the difficulties of living with 'young ones' like Ayla does. Darli has a younger adopted sister, Areum, whom she raises now that her Father is dead and her Mother is in permanent care due to Parkinson's. She works hard to raise her little sister and to study and work as well.
