Oh noooos! this s/b part six! And I don't think I can change it now! Oh, woe!
Ah, well....The epic rolls to a conclusion!

I think the humor for the most part stands on its own, but the overall effect will be funnier if you've read Wiishu's other stories...not to mention the 'NetWalkers series the boyz come from.

Aaaaand...that's it for now! A part of me finds it very difficult to accept the fact that 200 images are all just a setup for the pookster, but...ah, well.

@SteamWitch I couldn't believe it when he showed up. I've had him in that little box awaiting a major cleanup and restringing...and suddenly, out he came, giving me a perfect ending! Thank YOU for putting me on to this company and their little folk!

 

Sparklie spit wins over captivity every time! The Vigor really is nice. I'm a little worried that the Ascent uses the same hands as Zen which implies really small wrist joints, and part of the problem in getting Zen to hold positions is, I think, those tiny joints. ARGH I want that little body. Right now. The suspense is killing me! (And I still haven't giving these poor lads faces because it's been raining ever since they arrived! )

Oh, I just noticed your sig. You're getting the 35cm XiaoChan? Nice looking little body! I've ordered one of those for a really cool FTL faceplate I got, like a year or so ago. Been looking for a body that's taller than Wiishu that I can adapt for him.

Anevai got a faceup. It's only my third, my first in years, and these guys are really tiny, but I think it turned out pretty well, though I'll probably redo it before the year's out. She also go a new wig, tho I'm going to make her a longer, mohair one when I get all the faceups finished.

 

JP got his faceup and new wig! (Can you tell I'm avoiding my two main kids?) This ended up cleaner than Anevai's. +3mag glasses helped!

 

@Teddy I grok! I've been messing with health issues that have my BP fluctuating enough to make my prescription glasses work...intermittently? Right now, the OTC magnifying lenses work well enough for this sort of thing and hand work, but curiously sewing machine/midrange work is annoying awkward. Ah, the joys of a body whose warrantee is wearing thin!

 

Working on "Fireside Stephen's" faceup. Totally new thing for me, even in 2D. He's supposed to be wearing exotic, patterned makeup (to cover bruising). This is the first of what will undoubtedly be many attempts to find the right look. I'm working in watercolor pencils as something easily removed, and can be done in my easy chair while I watch TV. I thought you all might be amused at my "palette."

Thank you! The eyes are a bit of a fluke. They were some I got for my ChicLine Vanye. She's supposed to have (from the book) dark brown eyes (she's Native American) but I think, in this tiny face, the dark brown will never catch the light, so I might leave her with these...or make her dark brown ones with sparklie gold flecks. But for now, I really like these, too.

 

Time for the big boys' faceups. Did a little messing around with some pencil to find the "look" for both before cleaning and spraying. I think Wesley is going to be even more interesting than I originally thought! The pencil floated along some nice, mostly hidden, contours!

And...of course, it's been raining again. We need the rain, so all is good, but I was hoping to get these two done. Ah, well. Stephen's mouth is achieving a lovely Rudolf Nureyev look, which is perfect, given his ethnic heritage (his real name is Zivon Stephanovich Ryevanoshov)
