Luts Waiting Room V. 19

AAAAND I ordered the body ^^... My dealer (BJD Dreams, Italy) has sent it today. I asked for a specific pair of boots instead that one of the heads (I don't want to have to find another body LOL) ^^... Now the waiting begins...

meanwhile I already have his wig, wigcap and eyes, shirt, trousers and a pair of boots.

And I ordered a pair of socks and one of boxers too XD...

 

I really hope I could get a shipping notice by a week! I'm very excited too

 

I just got a shipping notice from luts that they have shipped my doll!! I am crying of joy!! Sooo happy right now

I just got a shipping notice for my Tiny Delf Alice Elf. She is my first Luts doll, and I'm really excited for her. I already have I don't know how many things waiting for her, including outfits, sweaters I knit, and toys. She is going to be a spoiled doll.

 

I received Alice instead of Alice Elf, but I fell in love with her sweet face as soon as I saw her, so I am not going to try to exchange her.
I am very impressed with how securely they package their dolls! It took me a good fifteen minutes just to de-mummify her.

@FashionableFigures omg, i can see why you fell in love with her. look at that cute little face!! are you sure you don't want to let the company know, at least? because they did still mess up your order, technically...

and i received my HDF raphael yesterday!! buuuut, unfortunate timing - i'm moving house tomorrow lol, so i decided to keep her in her box and all the protective packaging, and then take her out and have pics ready for you guys after my move kind of serves no purpose for me to take her out now, and then have to wrap her up again for moving tomorrow...

 

I did let Denver Doll Emporium know about the mix up. They confirmed my only option would have been to return her for an exchange. I liked the Alice sculpt and the Alice Elf sculpt both, and I didn't have a specific character in mind for her, so I was content to leave it at that.
I figure it's an excuse to order another one down the line. Not that I need much nudging...

 

*Jumps up and down* I got my shipping notice! My MDF body and event head are on their way to me!

@FashionableFigures, that's so odd, but I'm glad you were able to find a solution you were happy with. She's a super cutie, too. ~

@ryeonggu, such unfortunate timing! It is probably best to keep her boxed for the time being. Don't want her getting damaged in the move. Can't wait to see her though!

lol, i absolutely feel that! i haven't even unboxed my girl and i was already looking at the new HDF hanael sweety... thank goodness she's sold out or i might just have been tempted to get her :p but i'm glad you love your alice and don't mind keeping her!

@xellos i know! i was hoping she'd come earlier, but oh well - i'm just glad she's arrived safe, lol. and my current place is all messy and dusty because i've been packing and boxing everything for my move, so i suppose it's not a good idea to take her out right now either :3 she'd probably get dirty and i wouldn't get good pics anyway, and i definitely don't want her damaged!

Im planning to purchase another babydelf from Luts soon! (I really wish they had Raphael sculpt for babydelf! I love her sculpt too)

@Tragedy congrats on bringing another one home! sounds like luts dolls are addictive i love the basil sculpt, she's so pretty, and she's going to be gorgeous in brown skin!

@ryeonggu -- Darae is beautiful and surprisingly underappreciated. There aren't many of them around.

I'm ordered 2 tinydelf on 20 april. But no sign of shipping notice .

 

I know your feeling. I order a Kid Delf on march and I'm still waiting for shipping notice. It's my first doll so I'm like crazy. x)
Last news I heard my baby was on custom.

 

@zanael @Tentacule awww, hope you guys get your babies soon for what it's worth i received my shipping notice a little before the 3 month mark, and it seems like others in the thread did too, so i think luts is pretty good about sticking to their 3 month timelines. maybe you guys can drop them an email to follow up with your orders?

 

@zanael @Tentacule I orded two dolls, kid delf 24 march and shopping notice came around 31 may. My honey delf orded 25 april and got her shipping notice july 3. Both with face-up So I really hope your dolls will come home soon

 

@ryeonggu : I didn't order from Luts directly so it takes more time. >.<
I'm closer to the end of the waiting so I'll survive haha !

I ordered my KDF Darae back in February from MoC, and I just got the shipping notice this week. She's supposed to arrive by Wednesday, so I'm pretty excited for her arrival

It's great to see another Darae; and in tan too -- she is certainly different to any other Darae that I've seen.

Which to be fair, the only other Darae that I've seen besides mine is @KiyoshiSenshi's.

Does anyone know if Luts ships out blank bodies any faster than faceupped dolls these days? Used to be that a company could do that...

They definitely do. If you check their announcement board, it also says they will ship blank dolls within a month...

 

Ordered two dolls from luts on Saturday and am pretty excited to see them shipping fairly quickly (: One is in the light tan though so I know that'll slow them down a little bit.
