I rediscovered and embraced doll collecting in my late 30s/early 40s, and have spent an embarrassing amount on them since then.
Fortunately I have a supportive spouse, and we have no human kids I need to worry about sharing my toys with. Our dog and cat exhibit bored interest, which is fine with me!
I am a process knitter, and my dolls frequently benefit from that, getting the occasional sweater and hat.
I'm extremely shy in person, and tend to do more lurking than anything on social media. So you may not see me participate very often, but I will be around, enjoying all the incredible work from everyone.
