Very lovely, and quite a different personality to her original default faceup!

 

No, not yet. She's a shy girl, I think. So I have to be patient before she tells her name ;-)

I’ve been working on a set for my Rowana (peach HID Rebecca) -
here is part of it - the silk over-dress is up next to be sewn. I am still
kicking myself for not getting a second Rebecca before she was discontinued...

Dropping by with some HID Lahela love. She is my only HID, love her. I have seriously considered have HID only however I like the size variety the others offer. EID is my least favorite, in posing.

 

I always thought HID was the updated EID. I have wished that they would update the joints on the EID to be similar to HID because I do like the plumpness of the EID, just not the ankles XD

@LaurieESW She looks amazing, Lahela is one of those faces that looks beautiful in every skintone. I wonder what shes thinking about? She looks like you caught her in a moment in that photo

@luluna that outfit looks amazing on the HID, I got in very very very late in the BJD hobby that almost nothing was left of the iplehouse glory days, but that outfit made up for it. It looks like it would fit in very nicely with the Carved Heritage line and I got really happy it was available, and without buying a doll to get it too! lol

She looks amazing, that faceup, hair choice and clothes, I would have loved to live in the era when she reigned as queen XD

The detailing in the lace sleeves and skirts is very impressive, Im eager to see it finished but as is, I can see it "complete" with a nice little corset to hide where the top meets the bottom

I asked if there were plans for a new limited since it seems the last one was forever ago, but it got skimmed over.....Im going to take that as a no lol, I was really looking forward to an Edge of Galaxy HID man or woman. Might be a blessing in disguise though. I know of a few who are saving up for this years Christmas event, so I wonder what we will be getting this time around.

@collectionkate she's my favorite hybrid, Harace looks very natural on that body! I love that shade of blue, it works really nice with her cool eyes and skin

@Bren Athena and Ares look really nice together, and I love their familial resemblance! They also must be going to the same gym and share the same hair dresser lol

LOL abot your comment of them using the same gym and stylist. Thank you. I'm sorry to hear that the HID you were looking forward to has been scrapped. That is a bummer.

But hopefully something you will like for the Christmas event will make up for it.

 

Hello guys, I'm interested in if male HID head looks good on EID model (!) body. Can anybody try to place male HID on the EID model and show it to me? Please, I need your help

 

I don't have one on a Model, but a super hero body, will that do?

 

I've seen on the site, that measures of neck are a bit different, but it will be interesting for me too!

It's all up to taste. I know of a friend who has a Drake head on the EID super body and I think he looks fine.

I personally prefer my Falcon back on his HID body. I just had a pic of him when I switched him heads with Rex just to see how it would look.

Here is a different Falcon on his regular body. I know some people do not like the bigger muscular frame, but I don't mind it.

I updated Aaliyah's face up over the holidays just a little and cobbled together an outfit for her to wear (I am ashamed at the lack of clothing ...must remedy that in 2020 for her!) I did buy the boots especially for her...but now I need to make her some of her own clothes

I'd like to add some new eyes this year for my larger dolls. I think I want slightly smaller irises in some of them...need to look properly at what I need but I like this colour in my Aaliyah - thanks @chalyss and @Bren !!

Isn’t the HID body just fabulous?! I think it is my absolute favorite!
So glad that Iplehouse ‘fixed’ the ankles (finally).

 

I’m planning to order Bella during this winter event, but iplehouse doesn’t reopen limited dolls this winter. I like Bella in special real skin color.

 

I was also hoping they'd have an event on the HIDs. Hope you get your Bella soon!

Does anyone have recent iplehouse white skin, and does it have more of a pink or yellow undertone? I tried searching and there isn't much information on white skin on iple's own website and owner photos seem to go either way depending on lighting.
