Lot of cusotmers requested for HID dolls, so we decided to open them for a limited period of time.
**Sales period : March 19th ~ April 15th
You can choose the head, type of body and skin color on the option.
But there would be no make up option for this sale.
All of the make up amount are different by the head, so we cannot adjust all of the exact amount.
If you want make up, please leave a messgae on the Q&A board and we will answer shortly.
Then, you can order make up option product by the offered amount.
Or if you have alreday paid for the doll, ask us to add the make up amount.

Does anyone who follows Iplehouse’s sales know if the HID will go on sale again? Like during the winter holidays.

I’m trying to decide if I want to buy the doll I want now or wait until later.

I thought Iplehouse had fairly regular event periods, but the wording of this one makes me worry a bit.

I think they certainly make an other sale later in the year, but nobody can say really when.
HID is a big and pricy doll, so I don't think there's a lot customers for them, instead of the FID that are really a success for the company.
You could still ask them on the Q&A directly on their website

 

I contacted Iplehouse on the Q&A, and this the the response:

 

that sounds like by next year HID could end up on the chop block... -_- it also sounds like HID bodies are not selling (at least not from a business view)... Glad i have my guy

 

HID women I think are popular because they are upgraded EID woman because they can share clothes

HID men I dont think are selling because no one makes clothes for them other than Iplehouse and they havent put any new HID clothes for men :/ I love the HID body but i will settle for EID because at the least I can find clothes for them on etsy and taobao

Too bad because I really like Calix on the HID body he looks very bad ass

 

personally I love the HID body but a seamstress in my club (professional that is)... didn't like sewing for males in general and she hated even helping me take measurements for Drake >< said 'he was pretty to look at but horrid to even think about sewing for' ... When I'm done paying for replacing my computer I have a mess of measurements i want to sent to someone to ttry and get stuff for him... if they didn't live across the planet i'd send my damn doll if it would help lol. I may end up letting Drake body swap to get some looks for him even.

 

I love the HID body way better than EID so I hope they don’t abandon them. They are similar size to LLT and Pygmalion doll bodies so need more clothes for this size as well.

and we need to find clothing makers who have access to borrow on the bodies from an owner to make basic pattern drafts from to work with...

I had no idea they could share clothes with HID, I thought LLT were closer to EID than HID because the HID body is pure protein and LLT looks like a greek god build

I would love to see a pic of the EID HID and LLT together

I like Calix because Im pretty sure hes based on Tekken's Jin Kazama, I would love to get Calix and turn him into Jin's devil form but thats something that needs to wait until next year, I got too much too soon

I wish Freedom Teller or Sartoria J would sew HID clothes. I asked freedom teller and they said no lol. Maybe if there is enough demand

 

Gosh that's too bad about FreedomTeller. ....the more sizes they will sew for the more out of money I am. They obliged me when I asked if they'd do Maestro in Dollshe 28m size.

I don't have a HID guy (yet??? I said my collection was "done" and yet I still look at more dolls). I've been fussing along with sewing for my HID gal. I just really need a galaxy print blazer. But I'm just like... terrible about accounting for boobs.

 

Ty and yes me2 pls a comparison LLT EID HID would be awesome... and SERIOUSLY!? They actually 'refused' to sew for HID??? holy cow... I'm stunned actually. Well that's one more out the window ><

Is there anyone on here that read/write Chinese? ... there is a Taobao seller who would sell direct (if possible with yoru country) if you can use the Tb store... she sews for most iples but has never sewn for or handled a HID... but is willing. I say this about direct communication because I know if i could buy now for me it would cost half what it would cost to get stuff through Legend Doll... going thru them you use USD it's a middle person and the cost ends up double in my case. I don't know if i can link her Tbao shop here or not but you can PM me for the info. I'm technically set up to buy on there and I'm in Canada so... ya... if i understood everything and it actually works she takes Paypal.

I have a HID male (won't get another) and just got a HID female body. She is lovely but is so new, I haven't had a chance to play with her yet though I like her aesthetic a lot! Might get more of that later, the Hid bodies. They're pretty!

@Lady Tiku, I would contact clover-singing.com; they have tabao services and same people who sell as jerryama on ebay. I think they can help you. (and free shipping!)

just curious of which iple male you had as a HID. I have Falcon and I just love him.



He's a big one alright, I also enjoy the HID female one as well.

 

Yes! I have a brown Falcon too! His knees are killing me. I don't want to rehome him or anything, I just wouldn't get another male HID. But he's beautiful, for sure! What a hunk!

 

ooh, Great. is he an original or the newer lt brown?

I also have a Falcon in Glow Lt brown which is darker. Did I say I love Falcon? LOL



I heard that perhaps doing some hot glueing may help. I haven't done any on mine.

 

Hmm, well I don't think he's the glow. I think he's original brown though slightly darker than my other, older lt brown nYiD girl. Both are second hand though. I have hot glue sueded him and even restrung him with thicker string (had to remove the hip plate thingees to do that; wasn't happy with them anyway) but nothing helps. I will have to wire him eventually.

 

I love the old lt brown. I'm more partial to it.

Sorry to hear that it hasn't worked. Hopefully the wiring will. He's quite top heavy, so perhaps that's the reason. Mine stand quite solid, but when I try to dress them, yep the knees seem to go.

It's such a pretty color! But so is your boy! Meow!

He is VERY top heavy but I love the broad shoulders! I would love more Falcon heads, I just like this body being strictly for this character alone due to his parentage. If I can get him to stand and then not touch him, he's fine- but move him and he buckles. *L* He'll need some thick wire!

 

Thanks. I love how my darker one, Named Golden turned out. My falcon are all different from each other.

I love his body. I know the more muscular bodies are not to everybody's cup of tea, but he's one of my favorite. I hear you. My falcon's parentage are linked to the greek gods, So that's where they get the looks and body form from.

Would love to see your boy? did you do his face up or was it iple? Yeah. Sorry. As I said. Curious. Not many people have them.

 

Mine looks closer in color (on my monitor) to your first brown boy there. Is that the glow one? I don't have the tatt though. Sadly.

He does not have a faceup yet- and I have no public pics of him. He has a mod I want to finish before I show him off, or else all I do is talk about it and it never gets done. *L* Simple mod, too, just so much happening IRL at the moment. His father is an enlarged Granado Titan though.

No, the first one is not the glow lt brown. He is regular one. The darker lt brown the 2nd with tattoos is glow lt brown.

I bet he will look handsome when he's done.

I find more pictures of HID females than males online, so i am surprised this thread is almost all men XD

I want to ask if anyone is able to put a picture of Aurora head (human, but also elf is good) on the HID woman body? I would like to see how she looks like in proportions.

I like how Aurora look in FID, and HID is a bigger version of FID so I wanted to see the real bigger scale version of it if she can pull it off as good.

I dont care about skin match, I want to see how her head looks on the neck, and the shoulder width She can be bald or with wig it is both good and helpful for me

@LaurieESW I didnt even consider Aurora until I saw your FID in RS. I think shes very beautiful and she seems different than the full sized one to me so that is why I was interested to see her in the full size to see if she has the same appeal as the fid one, if they have similar looking bodies (the HID and FID seem similar to my eyes)

Like Miho and Yui being the same sculpt but iplehouse told me that Miho is a modified? Yui. I think Miho is sassy and they should update Yui to have the same sassy attitude that Miho has.

 

Congrats! I think Doria is wonderful. I have her in LB EID, but I think HID, white with Gothic makeup is going to be so amazing! Is the make-up custom or did you choose something from another Iplehouse sculpt?

The offering of custom makeup is nice, but I lack taste so she would probably look like a clown if I were to decide on the makeup truthfully

Im debating coupling her with an HID Aurora in the faaaaaaaaaar future but Im going to wait for Iple to reply to me regarding Aurora, if the FID is a slightly modified version of the big sized one or if they are identical (other than scale)

 

That is a fantastic Doria, I had wondered if that might be the face-up you had chosen or I had thought maybe something from the addition series.

I would love to hear what Iplehouse tells you about Aurora, if you do not mind sharing.

I think you will be very happy Doria and Aurora if that should work out later.

 

They said that Aurora is exactly the same but scaled down and she looks different because they gave her a strong eyebrow shape makeup for the FID (?? lol)

I also got my shipping notice for HID Doria

I order with make up and pay for her full on 12/6 and they ship on 9/7 so 27 days which is very very fast

Im maybe worried because this seem very fast than my older order (2.5 months it took)

Also lol this thread is not fast moving like the other thread, is HID not popular size?

I adore the female HID body! It's a lovely addition to the other size girls I have here.

I got a HID with a small bust for my NS Doria (Persephone) to use and I love it on her.
Here she even slinks into an Iple nYID outfit.

I think the girls would be more popular than the guys- the HID boys are SO big and heavy and clunky. Many of the lady collectors prefer shorter and lighter. the HID girl is run-of-the mill 65cm lady.

Doria is gorgeous on the HID body!

Is she an Iplehouse face-up or did you give her the face-up, it is so pretty.

 

Thank you for your compliments . She had originally Iplehouse face up B, but I enhanced the eyes with black eye-liner and changed the color of her lips (both by using acrylic colors).

I joined the HID Doria club

I love the HID body, but if I could somehow turn back time, I would have chosen the medium or small bust

The large bust is too big and nothing fits, not even the black fascinating outfit that was made for the HID body. I should have done like @luluna and got her in the S bust lol surprised your beauty could fit in the NYID body when I cant even slip the SID female outfit on her lol
What does fit is the male SID upper clothing, here is my Lilith in SID Ian's default outfit and accessories, shes pants less The coat fits, and is the correct length for her arms but took it off last minute because I liked the sheer panels of the Ian shirt

I am too lazy and used one from the extras of my box opening of her, I am waiting for clothes purchased to post more of her haha

Shes a white Doria with large bust and the faceup from the model Doria in the Black Leona SID outfit that was available some time ago, which now is not found on the website. I think I purchased the last set... Iplehouse referred to her faceup as Halloween Doria in the notes. White is pink white, I was hoping for solid white to give her a vampire look but is still nice I think



@chalyss I adopted a Falcon HID locally and you arent kidding about the weight of the male HID
He doesnt even stand as well as the female HID not even sit! Sueding and wiring does nothing but he does have a nice face and I love the LB tone of Iplehouse. I would have really liked an LB Kamau HID but I was too late and I couldnt even find one for sale

Just waiting on his jointed hands to arrive from Granado so there could atleast be one thing of him that is poseable lol

@LaurieESW I cant keep your Real Skin FID Aurora out of my mind, I have decided that by the Christmas event, I will have to get an S HID Aurora in real skin with the faceup from the FID because yours looks so beautiful, but with freckles added so I wont copy your beautiful lady

@boudica You have the prettiest Bella Very small enchantments but very big impact on her face also I love the orange hair with the tan skin, never thought of that combination

I have the HID small bust in white! I want the large bust! We can trade! (can i put that on this board?)

I think with the HID male, I might have to drill the channels bigger and then use like 7mm string. He needs help! But he IS pretty (and I took out the hip plate- they were ANNOYING. I hate the IH hip plates; all my IH dolls get them removed now) and I like the male HID better than my all-time hated DT18, but I think with a lot of work, I can make him partly functional. He's nice eye candy in the meantime!

I'm not in the HID Doria club (sorry!), but I have a HID Pamela with the small bust (and this thread does need traffic). I love how her neck, collarbones, and chest are sculpted.

Congrats she is gorgeous!! Wow, can not even imagine handling one of the big guys. Sounds like lots of fun and additions with your collection.
Oh I think freckles would be so nice. I have thought about adding a beauty mark or two, just to make her a little different. Aurora is not custom so there are probably some others of that face-up hanging out in the collector world, some sisters and cousin of hers.

She is so stunning. I especially love her lip color, so vibrant yet deep and rich.

I love the HID body for the girls ! I think it's the size that I prefer in Iplehouse.
I have 3 of them : Lahela and Bella, both with medium bust, and Ashanti with the small one. I don't like the big one. It's really too big !

Pamela is glow SR. My lighting was really poor yesterday. There aren’t enough Pamela’s out there!

Your Falcon is wonderful even blank with that detailed face!
