Granado Dolls Waiting Room v4!

Oh no! I ordered a blank Raguel head and bust in October and then ordered the blank V-10 head in January. I finally wrote to them and found out my Raguel and bust were sent to a G. Draper in Hawaii in November. Not good news unless G. Draper is ready to send my order to me untouched. They are asleep in China now but I hope to hear some resolution soon.

The good news is that they plan on shipping the V-10 heads this week for anyone who has ordered.

 

I just got a notice that they will be sending out my Zen jointed hands, (and some vindoll hands I ordered at the same time). They asked if the address was still good since the virus outbreak I guess people have moved around. I got my V-10 on the 28th, so I know they have the right address.

 

I'm glad they are checking up on that. I was hoping to get a shipping notification for my Vigor sometime this month or May. My address is still good, I'm just not sure how much this pandemic will slow things down.

I ordered and fully paid my Zen body with bj-hands in normal 01.01.2020. Due to covid-19 I still don't get my order, but Granado wrote that it will be prepared about the middle or end of April. Waiting, waiting...

 

Currently on layaway with them. I can't resist Gabriel the first time I saw him and boom after a week he was offered .

 

Hi everyone! I just finished paying off my Raguel + Zen body in Tan this month. I ordered him through Legenddoll on layaway 2 months ago and they just updated me today that he'll be shipped out sometime in August

 

I just got my Vigor in! It kinda blind sided me because the first I heard of it was a notification from ups that my package arrived. When I got him home I got the email from Granado saying he'd been sent out. Going to post an unboxing thread in a bit.

 

My Granado hands were in EMS hands on 5/11 still no movement in tracking.

Edit: Yay, my May package from Granado hit New York San Fransisco last night!!!

 

I shall join you all, since I just put in an order for an Agent Mads head from Clover Singing. I am waaay too impulsive sometimes, but I have been looking for one of the Mads Mikkelsen-like Granado heads sooooo there's that? Now we wait. I'll figure out a body later once I have my Uriel all together.
Have to wait for her to see if it can be made though apparently. Hopefully!

 

The Zen hands arrived on July 6, can't believe it took so long to get here but they are here!

Yay! It looks like they're gonna make one last Mads head for me, so we are go for Dr. Walther Madsen! Now I need to figure out eyes and stuff for him. And a body. Gotta see how the hybriding I'm doing for my Uriel head works and then I'll start the body hunt.

 

I just started a layaway on a Granada Jane (the 65cm one) in their Syringa skin

 

Yay! I got a shipping notice for my Mads head! He may have to wait a bit for a body, but I'm glad he's on his way home!

I should be able to make the last payment on my Jane in the beginning of November. I Can't wait to get her.

I ordered Ninth on the Zen body the 30th of September, then added the ballet feet for my little Vigor and faceup later. Don't have a clue how long it will take.

 

I'm expecting a head in January too.

 

Just got tracking number for my Granado Jane from Erica at Legenddoll Considering the Covid situation and the slow customs in Denmark i think she will be home around mid december

 

Gah, I finally took the plunge and ordered Uriel's head! I've been thinking of ordering him for years, but never really got the chance. Now the wait begins.

 

My Granado Jane arrived in Denmark today but got caught by customs. Hopefully have her by the beginning of next week

 

for some reason, Ninth is still available for order on Doll Legend even though he's not on Granado's website so... started a layaway for that small man /o/

 

Does Granado still shop within 50 business days? If so, my Uriel head should be shipping out any day now! So excited! (Ordered him around Nov 25th... 26th...)
Managed to get most of the stuff for him during the wait, like his eyes, wig, and accessories. Still working on his outfit.

 

I got my Granado order from 9/30/20 on 1//21/21, so about 80 working days. I'm sure there was a holiday in there somewhere too. I had also added faceups to two heads to it so it does take a bit longer.

I updated the waiting list a bit and removed the 2016 and 2017 listings

 

@SteamWitch thank you for the update! 80 days isn't too bad at all. I'm expecting things to run a little slower anyhow, what with all the holidays, the pandemic, and possibly the season (I know that things like humidity can affect faceups; not sure about resin curing).

I am joining you in this waiting room. I have ordered 30 Ninth head and small torso bust in new normal.

Most, if not all, heads are available at Granado taobao. They have a New Year sale right now, 10% off for heads and 15% for bodies.

Nine and Shadow are available as heads for 1/3 and 75 dolls. Initially I was planing to order one in this size, but decided to start with a size which is new for me.

 

I ordered one of the moomoo lucky bags today. Now comes the extra exciting wait of not knowing what is coming.

 

Guys.... guys! Crocus Lee finished my custom faceup on my Uriel, and he turned out amazing! Ahhhhhh! I am at work now, but I'll try to post pictures once I get on lunch.

 

Can’t wait to see. Crocus Lee did my V-11 faceup and I haven’t changed a thing which is so unlike me!

 

Just made my first Granado order - Noah on the new 75 Adagio body with faceup~! And Granado was so quick in refunding me my discount. (You have to authenticate your order on either the Q&A board or by email to get your discount.) I got refunded within 5 mins of posting on the Q&A board.

(I also really want a Vindoll Charles eventually, still hoping that they re-release the other skin tones... one day... I want him in tan...)

 

Sorry about the delay, folks, but here is my Uriel's finished custom faceup by Crocus Lee. It's based on Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes! I knew that he would turn out amazing, but he turned out even better than I could ever have imagined. I'm in love.

Did anyone order any resin during the Black Friday Sale receive their order yet? I checked the waitlist, but the data is pretty sparse.

 

@sno4wy I ordered a blank Uriel head in new normal skin during their Black Friday sale--he was scheduled to ship at the end of February/beginning of March, but then I decided to add a custom faceup last minute--so that added some time. Not too much, though, because they sent me the completed faceup pictures on March 6th. They said they'd ship him right away. Havn't heard anything since then, though.

I'm guessing that something came up and they got really busy with it. Their communication has always been top-notch and super fast, even during their New Year holiday (some companies don't even reply to any emails or messages during that time). I'm not sure how they handle shipping, but I think most companies send their dolls out in batches?

 

@Silver_Unicorn297 Thank you for the info! It sounds like mine should be ready soonish, I ordered a full doll in a custom resin color. With everything going on in the world, I figured it'd take a while, but I had zero frame of reference, so it's super awesome to have been able to hear from you!

 

I was having a horrible, rough week, but I got wonderful news today! After messaging Granado, I finally got my tracking number for my gorgeous Uriel head. And according to tracking... he should be here tomorrow! Best of all, I have tomorrow off! Ah, so excited!

I ran out to the Amazon hub (other mail carriers use it too) at my apartment the instant I got the text message with the code. The poor UPS guy was still there unloading packages.

 

I just ordered three heads and matching torso bases: Sariel and Uriel in NS (your Uriel did me in, @Silver_Unicorn297) and Remiel in Bronze. I have never spent that much money on dolls in one fell swoop before. I'm very excited, though!

 

@amphetamine Aw, thank you! I fell in love with Uriel when he first came out, before I even learned of Bucky Barnes as a character. Once I found his character though, I promised to get him as soon as he went on sale!

Congrats on the new heads! Their NS is really quite lovely!

 

@Silver_Unicorn297 Sebastian Stan is actually a favorite actor of mine (and he portrays Bucky so well) but I've never been interested in Minime heads, so I was very surprised at my sudden case of grabby hands when I saw your Uriel! Now I just get to settle in and wait for my own.

I have to admit, I'm usually turned off by the painted on beards, but this is spectacular! Congrats.

Oh...I'm waiting on two of the big guys, the 70 adagio in natural and the vigor in windfresh, both with Noah faces, and three of the little guys, a Jane with a Ninth head in Sunshine, a Galileo with a vigor body in windfresh and a shadow with an adagio body in natural. I don't know if I'm excited or terrified. I'm going to be busy once they all get here! And really horrified if I don't bond with the 70+ style. Please...everyone photo bomb the Granado threads! I've paid less on a car!

 

Hi everyone! I placed an order just before the Lunar New Year for the MooMoo Fes Lucky bag. Did anyone else get one of those? I am interested in some of the VIPO heads, and I wonder what I'll get. Based on the current updates on the waitlist, it seems to be getting close to shipping time. Since I don't know which heads I'm getting, I didn't start researching bodies yet, so unfortunately, when they do get home, they will be floating heads for a while.

 

Not yet. I ordered a head in January and got a shipping notice April 23, but tracking still says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" even though it is supposed to be EMS. I ordered my MooMoo bag Feb 8.

 

I have received my Ninth head just now... I got the wrong head. There are two versions of the head the bjd one and a solid one, where you paint the eyes.

I got the off topic one. Oh well. I like it anyway.

 

Thanks for the insight. I just realized that I didn't actually put myself on the wait list. It is there now. I got the Moomoo bag (VIPO Heads x2), and it seems I orderd the day after you. Hope that means our orders will see movement around the same time.

Oh darn! I'm sure it's still a gorgeous piece. Maybe it can be a prop?

On their website they show shoulder measurment as 7,8 cm, while mine is 6,5 cm? Shoulder head ratio is perfect, though.

I am. A normal amount of excited. And didn't get up early to be extra sure not to miss him. Not at all.

 

and he's arrived! I was worried it'd go to the guardian and I'd have to wait until tonight to get him, as so often happens, but no, I've got him!
the box was quite damaged during transport, but Mini-Xichen is fine, and I can wait to customise him

 

Congrats! So glad you sorted out the head problem! Wandering about headless would make life a little difficult! As for getting up early: I'm feeling so silly...I'm getting to the point where I'm not sure I'll sleep once I know my crew is shipped. Never been this way before about a new doll.

 

I'm about to order a Embody...body in new normal for my Uriel head. Anyone whose ordered this one does it take the standard six months to arrive or have you gotten these faster?

I think the average wait is about 3 to 4 months now. At least, that's how long it took for my Uriel head, with a faceup that I requested later. Waiting on a body for him now, too, and ironically, I think it's the Embody in New Normal as well XD I think the wait time was longer in the first half of 2020 due to the pandemic. (The only reason I didn't order the body with the head originally was because I was going to hybrid my Uriel, but the hybrid didn't work out).
