Granado Dolls Waiting Room v4!

Isn't that cool they could extend it. I'm waiting on 2, normal and tan. I can hardly wait.

 

I love that they post pictures everywhere regularly, helps me stay excited! I missed my layaway by a week () but it’s paid now and now I know not to expect a reminder, so I put it on my calendar!

 

I'm waiting on my granado Uriel. It's hard to contain myself after seeing all the pictures posted. Super happy dance.

 

I got a shipping email for my Vigor boy! Its been about 4 months! I'm so excited! I'm thinking of doing a box opening video

Lucifer in Bronze arrived today. (Vindoll Udell in the background was also bronze but he's vinyl and the color is different.)

 

He looks great @Therealwalter I love the color and his face is great.

 

So beautiful @Therealwalter ! That bronze thou...so amazing. His eye shape too is just perfect. Is the body as impressive as advertised ?

 

Figured I'd pop in here and join the wait. I ordered a 55cm crowdfund boy. Initially, I ordered him in WS. Then I ended up with Surprise Dolly! and my plans for pairing up this guy changed. I asked Granado if I could change the skintone to grey (what they call syringa for some reason) and they allowed me to do it since they haven't started on the prototypes for that size yet. It was also a one-time change and I needed to pay the difference in price (which I expected). I am really excited to get this guy home and hope they start on his prototype soon.

 

I am happy with the vigor body. The joint system is very flexible and he poses very well. Only issue I have had was the chest joint wanting to bend so going to suede that to hold position better. He can easily touch his face, cross his legs, squat down etc. Aestheticly I like Embody better but vigor is impressive. He is not as heavy as some dolls his size.

Adding my latest order to the list, I noticed that there are a whole heap of dolls that are marked as "arrived" from well over a year ago. Are these one supposed to be pruned back?

 

In case peeps aren't following the Granado FB page, they've posted some pics of the 44cm and 53cm boys. They didn't say whether the heads were 3D printed versions or resin cast versions, but yea! for progress on working on them.

 

Yes, I think we are suppose to police our own waiting lists . I've been pruning the Dollshe waiting list for a while now. At least Granado's waiting list makes sense.

 

Yeah, it says at the top of the thread that people can remove updated info over a year old. I'll go in and prune that back. Keep it short, sweet, and relevant (unlike Dollshe which is a catastrophe of a list). Though there are other waiting rooms in which people haven't been updating the lists at all and there's no info, just a bunch of people chatting with nothing chronologically usable...as I found in my attempt to gain wait time info for several companies...

 

Go for it @Quiet and Insane It's a wiki so there is no problem with removing data over a year old.

 

And it's been tidied. Makes the list look tiny now, but it really shows you how prompt these guys have been with their shipping schedules.

Seeing the 44 cm head on Granado's Fb page has got me even more excited about mine. His Flickr page says they're the 3D print. I'm so happy to see that it looks like none of the details have been lost in printing. I have one payment left on my layaway so I haven't been overly crazed til now. Looks like my cool is lost

 

I'm very excited to see the 55cm in progress. I can hardly wait to find out what eye/wig size he's going to take so I can start scouring the internet for him. I mean, I have a ton of eyes that would likely fit just fine and probably a few wigs, too, but....

 

Welp, the head didn't arrive during my break. And it's so close it will probably ship in less than two days. But now I have to leave for eight days for work. Will the post office hold it if it gets delivered? I'm a bit nervous as I'll only have one evening halfway through back in touch with civilization.

 

Can I post that I got my shipping notice for my Charles Vindoll head? I'm excited.

You need to sign a form and they will hold it for you while you are gone. We did that when we went on vacation.

Shoot, I don't know the USPS tracking number, I only have the Chinese company's aaaaaaaand I can't seem to find a way to contact them. I'll ask Granado. Thanks for the advice!

 

@iamkathybrown They will save all your mail so you don't have to worry about tracking numbers or anything. Just tell them you will pick it up when you get back.

 

I am in dolly waiting hell (one of my own making) so it's always nice to see others getting their stuff. I haven't seen any updates on the 53cm crowdfund boy *sigh* and one of the other dolls I'm awaiting is a Dollshe Classic Mini so 'nuff said there. And I just bought the new Miracle Doll Snake Demon and the sales page says 10-12 weeks so mid-October at the earliest for him.

 

My head is supposedly being delivered today. I am so excited not to have a headless body on my shelf anymore.

 

I paid off my layaway for a 32cm Lucifer in bronze and a Vindoll charles Head in tan! Bronze does look good from the previous pictures. I’m not sure how long I’ll be waiting, but I sure am excited!

 

My Vindoll Charles head arrived today. He is gorgeous! The weather was perfect so I was able to seal him within an hour of getting him.

I paid off my Lucifer 45-48 cm yesterday! The wait is gonna kill me.

 

Whew! Found out on my work trip that they delivered the doll with no signature needed. But I wasn't able to open the box until today. And wow, is she gorgeous! And she fits the body like she was made for it, better than Elliot and his body.

Finished the payments about a week ago and now waiting patiently... Kinda. I'm too excited, guys. Halfway through paying I hit a lull like I didn't care as much, but now I'm hyped all over again.

 

I feel that way too. I have some money concerns at the moment and paying my lucifer off made me feel a little bit guilty, but I feel like he’ll be worth it anyway.

 

I feel a little impatient about my head, even though I really only just ordered it, and won't be able to give him a face up until summer...plus he won't be getting a body for a while yet either! And yet...I just want to see a shipping notice. I should calm down and focus my excitement on the Freedom Teller suit I'm waiting on instead.

 

It seems the BJD waiting game really tests your patience. I should be doing deep breathing meditation to relieve the stress, but instead I check my tracking and emails even though I know my phone will ping me with any news. I'm seriously eyeing those OT vindoll hands but the shipping

 

I have so far successfully resisted the Vindoll guys, even though after having played with one in person I am so very, very tempted.

Congrats! My 45 cm Vigor body and Lucifer head are still preparing. Seeing people get their 31 cm ones has made me more excited than ever.

 

Yeah, still waiting on updates on the 53cm boy here. I'm guessing they're going down the size line so the 45's will be the next out the door? Haven't seen an update on the progress of these guys in a bit unless I missed a post, which is entirely possible.

 

I don’t know if they’ll go in size order or in order of which crowdfunded first. I think the 50-53 succeeded after the 31....but I’m all for size order since I got the 45-48!
