Thanks! I commissioned them from a gal on Etsy. They are a little big but I stuffed cotton in the toes. She said she'd change her pattern a bit to make them slightly smaller if I ordered from her again. Her link is: Neo Blythe, has produced a doll shoes and bags of 1/6 size by Amabiledoll

So many new releases at the moment! I'm saving to bring home my pano. His legs and outfit are here - I just need to bring him home now, oh and a wig! I still need to find names as well. I always find it easier to name the bigger dolls!

 

I just got my Haru in the mail and she is absolutely lovely! But unfortunately, her faceup is damaged (it looks like she slid around in-transit and she's a bit worse for wear). I ordered on layaway through DDE, but does anyone know who to contact about possibly getting her faceup fixed? Should I contact DDE or Fairyland directly?

From what I'm aware, you should contact DDE about it

 

Hello Juniper, good to see you out and about, we don't see enough of you these days.

 

I've always contacted DDE directly. They're very good about working with Fairyland to get issues repaired... although Fairyland isn't always so prompt!

 

Sorry about your girl's faceup! I wonder if DDE ever looks inside the boxes before they ship to us! They'd save a lot of time, both their's and ours!

It's my understanding that they do not. I think Emory is the only one here in the states who does.

Yay! Just got my shipping notice for June and my Violet Rus! So ready for them to join my Haru & Agra Tan Rus! Yay!

Okay so this might seem a bit random and maybe it's been answered before, but has anyone tried to put the Pukisha faceplate on a Realfee body?

 

Never thought I'd like a Sira but I just love Trixie - you have truly brought her to life!

 

My Mari arrived the other day~ Sorry for the subpar phone pics ^^; She's so cute, and the violet resin is a lovely colour~ I'm not sure if these are going to be her permanent eyes since I haven't decided whether she's going to be strictly cute or have a slight creepiness to her (in which case I'd give her black)
I bought a glass terrarium bowl that I'm turning into her home, and will hopefully get a chance to make her a wig soon~

 

Awww, she looks so cute in violet. Those eyes make her look surprised and curious, but that could also be due to the lack of eyebrows

 

Well at least they are behaving themselves and they are not up to their usual antics.

Well you know, sometimes it's like having the "help" of children. Cute and everything while their attention lasts, but you always seem to work faster and more efficiently without the added "help". I hope to train them to thread the heddles though. I think they'd be better at that fine, close up work than they are at moving the shuttle and the beater back and forth.

Well the adorable faceup you gave her is part of the magic, so I have you to thank for that part. She makes a great partner in crime for Flame. They have an upbeat energy about them that poor Tingle could not match.

A terrarium is such a great idea for a Mari. What direction are you heading toward with the wig?

Awww, so glad to hear it. I'll let them know. I really do need to spend more time with them and take more pictures. Here's another from the same photo shoot.

It's a Saori loom from Japan. Although some are available as 4 shaft the majority of them are 2 shaft, lightweight, and small, but they ARE floor looms in that you sit in a chair or on a bench to weave and operate the shafts with treadles. I've done more complicated weaving with multiple shafts but prefer to focus on colour, texture, and some interesting 2 shaft techniques so the Saori looms are perfect for me.

 

I regretted not getting her in mint, but the violet is so pretty I'm not so bothered about it any more~ I think it might partly be that the eyes are smaller than what I'd normally go for, but the lack of eyebrows certainly adds to it haha

It's like a little fish bowl haha So far I've got rocks and fake moss, but I still want to get some aquarium plants and maybe a little branch or something. As for her wig I think I'll go with a really pale mint colour, made from straight suri alpaca. Most of my other girls have curly/wavy hair so straight will be something different. Plus I'd like to somehow give it a slicked down wet look if I can.

 

Omg! I love the idea of putting Realfees in terrariums! I'm going to try this out tomorrow and head out to the shop and pick one up. What a cute idea!
And your doll is simply lovely in the Violet resin! Although purple is my favorite color so I may be a wee bit biased. Haha. I adore it!

To all - would you please recommend where to get the shoes for realfee except fairyland website? I have two pair from fatiao ebay store, but have no found any others places with shoes :-( help help :-)
