Hi! I really loved your box opening story! It was beautiful! I love ygritte so much and I can’t wait for mine to arrive!

 

@ashvianey Thanks! It was funny since I had wanted an Echo Town but really only get white resin. Then one magically showed up. Sweet. There is something about them that's a bit odd and I like that as well. I really want a Dolores though. Maybe a white one will show up on the MP someday...

 

I believe Delores is a new sculpt and wasn’t around at the time when they did white skin. Maybe in the new preorders they’ll have white skin? Who knows, but I’d love to have a light tan Delores one day c:

I agree that this style of hip joint is so flexible and easy to pose. Similar bodies can be found in the Tender Creation dolls and Pasha Pasha dolls. I love the neck joint, too.

 

Thanks @Wabbie-chan I like the body but without it coming in white.....I'll have to stick with my V1 body...

Just received my Pepper. Those hands definitely very thin. @nufa those dollshe's does look better. I wonder what other hands can also be used. How about iplehouse fid/crea-j or raccoon doll? I just sold my chicline hand parts, but considering the heads I'd like to use with the body, chicline might be too small.
I might try luts mdf in the meantime.

edit: so that mdf hands is no go, the s-hook is too big for echotown.

Thank you, yes, for my taste they are better, too. I have no FIDs or Crea-J hands to try on. The Echotown's hand socket is really a small one.

 

@nufa btw I hope you dont mind me asking what colour of dollshe resin do you use to hybrid with echotown?

 

@marxwyn: Those hands are Dollshe pure oriental resin, the match with Echotown normal pink in real is not 100%, but quite ok. I have ordered new hands in pure fresh (a little bit lighter) to try if it matches better. Not received them, just waiting for. ^^

 

Does anyone have an eye size comparison on these girls? I don't like how small the eyes look in the stock photos and was wondering if I could go a size bigger for my incoming girl.

 

Received my Echotown Aya today. She came with very tiny eyes (8 or 6mm I think?) so gave her 10mm and like it much better like this.
For everybody who wants to hybrid her she matches perfectly with the supiadoll resin (NS).

hello, does anyone have the neck/shoulder measurements for the echo town bodies? I have a delores head and I'd like to hybrid her but I'm unsure if I can find another body that's naturally the right proportions.

 

@nocchios - Here's a photo with measurements - they look like company measurements, so I hope they'll help you. The neck is measured at 6cm, and the shoulders at 8cm:

thank you! I'm looking to put my girl on the dollzone b45-012 body with a 6cm neck, but I wanted to be more sure the fit would work before I ordered it. if possible, could someone who owns the echo town body please double-check this?

I've wanted one of these beauties since I saw them hit stacyspinkocean ... when they finally said they were down to their last Delores, I couldn't resist and pounced! Ygritte had been my first choice when I initially saw them, but I fell more in love with Delores the more I looked at her slightly pensive face. I can't wait for her to arrive! ; n;

Now I kind of want a fashion size Dollshe Saint to go with her ... I wonder if the proportions would look alright together?

 

@lavalunar I'm not sure if you already found an answer, but I don't think Echo Town and Dollshe would be great together. I have both Dollshe fashion girls and ET girl and they look like they're from different universe. The head size is so different and the Dollshe men aren't that different from girls.

So I got my Delores last week and are working hard to get her finished soon. I love the body and how posable it is. The only thing I don't like are the hand. They are too small and flat for my taste and also fragile. Luckily I was already planning to change the hands into Dollshe fashion hands as it happened when I was trying to take the hands off two fingers got broken. This is the first doll part I've ever broken in all the time in this hobby. That being something like 11-12 years. No problem this time as I wasn't planning to use the original hands anyway.

Does anyone know what firm would make pretty tan hands which would match into Echo Town tan? I'm very tempted by the lovely ET tan but unless there's an option to have better hands in similar color I just have to forget about it. I know Dollshe's tan wouldn't match at all which is a sad.

I own an Ygritte in normal pink and changed her hands to Dollshe Fashion hands in oriental skin. I didn't like the form and the size of her ET original hands. But I do love the Dollshe Fashion hands.

I have ordered Ygritte (one more) in light tan and waiting for her. Never seen the light tan skin in real, though. I am planning to try the hands of Olga Litvinovich author doll, those hands can be ordered separately, have ordered them, too. There is a coffee-milk skin tone, which I hope could be quite ok resin match for ET light tan, but I don't know, I just hope.

 

@nufa Thanks! I really like my Delores and especially the body. I also have the doll in pink and Dollshe hands in oriental. I think it was actually you and your lovely Ygritte which gave me the idea to switch the hands into Dollshe Fashion. Before that I wasn't feeling comfortable to order ET doll in case I would never find better hands for it. So thank you for making the experimental work for us all!

Oh, you're so lucky to be waiting for a tan Ygritte! I think she might be the one I would choose in tan too. Or Pepper. I don't know, they are all so pretty. Great idea with the hands, I hope they'll work out. Please inform us when you get to check if it's doable. In the meantime I'll continue dreaming of a tan ET girl and hopefully start saving money for one.

Are these dolls gone forever? Or just on a bit of a hiatus? I found them through another thread talking about hybrids and resin matches, and fell in love with their shade of tan, but when I checked both Taobao and Stacy's, the dolls appear to be completely out of stock.

Has there been an announcement anywhere? Because the Taobao shop still looks like it would be in operation, and Stacy's claims to have limited stock, despite the "sold out" markers, so I'm confused to say the least.

Really hoping that they've not completely gone, because they really are quite stunning, and I love their height and willowy proportions!

 

@rougeaerie As far as I know, the dolls are still there. Shortly the artist has exhibited her beautiful dolls in Moscow at one of the greatest doll exhibitions. So, she is there and working.
What you can do is to ask the artist lusi.q directly (there is her email on her IG account).
I have asked her directly and she sent me an ordering formular per email. I have ordered Ygritte in light tan. I was said the waiting time is appr. 5 months for light tan dolls, so I am waiting for mine (ordered her in November 2018). ^^

 

@nufa - thank you so much for the info! I saw some exhibition photos on Instagram while searching, so it seemed odd that the shops were so empty

I recently discovered these as well and they are stunning. I was searching for a little while and luckily Delores and Ygritte popped up in the market place. I'm so excited for them to arrive, and I'm trying to find clothes that might fit them and their aesthetic.

 

So at the moment I'm in the process of making some changes to my collection and I was taking some pictures when this cheeky creature stole a body...

I see all these amazing pictures of y’alls echo town girls and I always wonder where you get your wigs for them ;-; I can never find a good wig for my girl

 

Monique`s wigs 5-6 fit well. On my photo - this wig 5-6: Gatsby

 

I got as far as their collars but that’s it. It’s going to be a while before their outfit materialize. And they need wigs too.

 

Oh wow really a 5-6 wig? I thought they wear size 3-4 wigs I had bought a 5-6 wig and it was too big for my girls head

 

Among Monique`s wigs fit exactly 5-6, 4-5 is too small, 6-7 is large.
And I discovered that Tonner Deeanna Denton shoes fit for our dolls, I think Evangeline Ghastly shoes are too large.

I have received my Echo Town Ygritte in light tan today. She is my second Ygritte, I just love this mold. The first Ygritte was (is) in normal pink resin. Here is my new girl in light tan:

@nufa Congrats, she's gorgeous! Love the tan skin. Are you still planning to change her hands or got any idea where to find a pretty hands matching the skin tone? I'd love a tan doll too, but those hands need to be changed first... I've seen people hybrid ET body with Minifee heads and the resin colors are pretty much identical. MNF hand wouldn't probably work but maybe this helps to find more matching resins as if the resin matched Fairyland tan it should match with ET tan too.

Have you guys seen the new becoming head mold F? There's few photos on instagram (first 3 pictures): Lusi.Q (@lusi.q) • Instagram photos and videos I like her a lot and think she could be a good match to my Delores as they look like they could be sisters.

I have to say - the light tan is not really that "light", it looks a little bit too dark for my taste.
I am not very familiar with all the tan colors, she is my first tanned girl.
What I have tried but without success - the author hand parts by Olga Litvinovich in coffee-milk.
The resin match was unfortunately terrible, that resin has quite different undertone, so I let the original hand parts on her first till I can find something better.
I suppose the Popovy Sisters in moka color can be probably a good color match, but the hands itself are quite small because Popovy dolls are smaller (39 cm). I don't have any other ideas to help the problem with the hands. Dollshe hands are still my favourite form, I would love to find them in a matching color, but I will not order at Dollshe anymore and I don't know anything about the tan colors of his resin.

@nufa that's so sad that those Olga Litvinovich hands doesn't match. The hands itself look so pretty and would have been a good match style vice. I have Dollshe Copper Oriental girl at home and that color is too light at least for Fairyland dolls so I would assume it would be so also for ET dolls. Dollshe's next tan color Pale Tan is way too dark to match either on ET or FL tan. I have no idea where to look either. I do have many tan dolls but most of them are Minifees. I also have a tan Youpla Dolls bid and the tan is quite different from FL tan so that most likely wouldn't work. Oh how I wish the ET would just design new hands for the dolls. She makes such a lovely bodies and feets so I'm sure she could make a beautiful hands with more realism and with more accurate size for the dolls too. Maybe she just likes petite hands herself.

Oh the ballet feet are so pretty. I'm thinking of ordering them too one day.

 

@AnnieStar: Yes, it is sad. Thank you, it is good to know about Dollshe copper oriental and the pale tan and about Youplas tan, that they probably don't match. Matching two tans is not easy.
I wish Echo Town would design some other hand parts in the future, too. ^^ Perhaps it is her vision of the hands, thin, small and delicate, we don't know.

Hey guys! I was scrolling through AliExpress looking for clothes for my echo town Ygritte and I saw Delores was for sale on there it sadly got recasted and I’m deeply saddened by it. I thought to let you guys know. Please be careful when buying an echo town Delores, ask for coa’s!

 

Wow, these girls are so gorgeous! I'm glad to see doll companies adding more joints and really focusing on posing!
Sad about the recast crap, but hopefully that doesn't dim the progress of these beauties.

It may not be a perfect match but it’s pretty close based on the photo provided! Maybe a color match will do it some good those hands looks really nice on them

 

@ashvianey: Thank you for your comment. ^^ The hands itself are a good alternative for those who wish bigger hands for this body. The resin match is a question of personal taste, of course. For me the copper oriental color was not close enough to ET light tan, so I am back to the original ET hands.

 

Hey guys! I just saw juliajoydolls preorder for their doll and I was looking at their options for hands, do you think the will fit on an Echotown’s doll?? O: they look like they might but I’m not too sure

 

I'm trying to hybridize the ns hands of minifee on echotown it's not easy but it looks good!
