Just ordered the cute new satyr doll - Cedar, I believe? - on layaway! This is the first full bjd I'm buying, so I'm super excited! How long should I expect to wait, ignoring the layaway?

 

Unfortunately DV has like, 6-8 month wait times. It took me something like 6 months to receive my Adela, and 8 months to receive my human Achelous head. I'm still waiting on a blank Uncia (September) and bone butterfly (December) from them too.

 

It can be a long wait as they are often shorthanded, and I'm pretty sure they only ship once a week, but I haven't had any problems with my items getting to me. I got my Nirvana Phoenix from DDE in mid January, so I hope you get your parts soon!

 

I just put down a 20% deposit for a 1/4 Griffon dragon in Red through DDE. I'll worry about how to pay the rest later since I probably won't see this big guy until close to the end of the year. No idea where I'll put him either which I'll also worry about later on haha...

 

Just ordered 1/6 Griffon dragon in black through Clover-Singing.

 

Darn! Thankfully I have a rather long layaway period, but that's quite a while - I hope the dolls you ordered arrive soon!

 

My Cavna is on her way, she shipped out on Sunday but I didn’t notice until today when I checked my order status on Alice’s Collections. Turns out the email about her shipping went to spam. I’m really looking forward to seeing her and she came in almost exactly six months. I hope she arrives by the end of the week.

Hopefully Dream Valley doesn’t release anything else I can’t resist anytime soon.

 

Oh! I'm excited to see that the nagas are shipping! I ordered one of each, blank, so hopefully my order through BJDivas will ship soon too.

And I feel you! They have been killing me with all of their releases. My friend and I are really interested in their new deer dolls and we already own the Olivia rabbit. In addition to the two nagas, I'm also waiting on the Uncia cat boy, lol.

 

Placed a second DV order, this time a Cedar head from New Clover singing. Really glad I can just order the head, it's perfect for my cervitaur boy.

 

After roughly 9 months, my Chaos is in at the dealer! I'll be sure to post pics when he arrives.

I'm sorely tempted by the new faun girl, but I'm trying my hardest to resist. After Chaos comes in, I'll finally have no dolls on order, and I kind of want to keep it that way. ^^;

My Cavna is here and she is amazing. I’m not sure yet what sort of look I’m going to go with for her, probably something metallic. I’ve recently developed a liking for snakes and there are so many wonderful patterns to take inspiration from.

@ShinigamiDuoLover I hope your nagas come soon. Dream Valley really does have such lovely sculpting.

 

Oh she's so cute! How is her articulation? I'm waiting on mine from DDE, very excited.

 

Her upper half poses well a good range of motion and holds most poses you put her in. Her tail will hold a circle in any direction pretty much. When moving tail pieces back ward there is a little ledge that you can hold each segment on some of the pieces seem to have two but she is strung too tight to use most of them. I haven’t managed to get her to stand on her tail it is twenty pieces and all of them are curved on all sides. I also don’t have great posing skills.

I hope this means that more snake kids will ship out soon, I am waiting on a red Cavna from DDE, which I think I forgot to even put on the waiting list. I plan to try and make mine a boy, and might even try and body blush him myself. I've wanted a snake tailed doll like this since I was a little kid and first heard the myth of Medusa so fingers crossed soon. X3

 

Red sounds super cool. I hope he comes home soon.

 

My Chaos is here!



His resin is so pretty! It's a bit darker in person, but definitely encompasses the "dragon's blood" color. He has trouble standing (he's leaned in this photo), but he lays well. Regardless, I love him and I'm glad I was able to bring him home before he was discontinued forever.

 

Oh wow! Your Chaos looks *amazing* in all red! Such a beautiful resin color!

Funnily, I have my Chaos dressed in Constantine’s outfit, too.

 

Well, he is really amazing in that resin color. Congratulations to him. Chaos is a really amazing doll and I'm glad to see its next owner.

Agreeing that that Chaos colour is beautiful and firmly planting myself here. I bit the bullet and I have a red/gold fullset of the larger dragon coming. Terrifying amount to spend on a doll but it's a dragon and I had to have it. If I had a specific vision for it, more experience with modding dolls and the doll wasn't so complicated, I might have gone for the basic set but I know that I'm nervous about even minor mods to dolls, I didn't have a specific vision for it and I don't want to try and unstring the beast so fullset it was.

 

I certainly didnt miss the wait times when i was taking a break from this hobby, but I am so so excited for when the Bone Crystal Butterfly I ordered comes I hope by the time i get that sweet, sweet shipping notification, that we'll also be in our first house!

 

DDE has blank dolls that just came in - I wonder if this means a shipping notice will be coming soon?

 

I hope so! I actually just asked BJDivas about my order since the Alborah I ordered still says "on hold" and I got worried about it after seeing DDE had the nagas in stock....

 

Just got my Uncia doll I ordered through DDE! I'm so happy. He's my first DV doll, and I adore him. if you ordered a blank one through DDE, you should probably be getting him soon if you haven't already.

 

Congrats on getting your Uncia!! Can I ask you when you ordered? I got mine through Alice’s Collections 6 months ago. This is the longest I’ve had to wait and I’m getting impatient even though I know DV takes a while.

 

This is currently my longest wait for a Dream Valley doll, but I’m still waiting on my B4-19 body that I ordered at the beginning of March…in 2023.

I ordered the body through BJDivas along with my Olivia in the same order who arrived back in November after an eight-month wait. I keep checking in with BjDivas and they keep saying the body should be en route to them.

Has Anyone else experienced a year-long wait for a DV doll, let alone just a body?

 

Bjdivas is (in)famous for very long wait time. It is pretty odd that the two things you ordered together didn't arrive together though. Most companies send the whole order as one, so maybe they made an error with your order that caused the delay?

 

So true about the long wait time with Divas, which is why I only order through them if I need a layaway, because their layaway options are pretty great.

The fact that the whole order wasn’t shipped together is odd lol. When my Olivia arrived at Divas, they said they expected my B4-19 soon. I emailed Divas in January asking for an update on the body, and they said it was currently on a shipment on the way to them and would arrive within the month. Then I emailed them again at the start of March and they said that, oops, looks like the body is actually on a *different* shipment that is on the way to them.

I guess this body is just going on an adventure ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Hello again. I just ordered a full set Dawna just a few days ago. She's super cute and will tower over my other MSD's, but I think that's the look I want to go for, haha.

 

Good news! When did you order and pay? My friend is waiting too, so they are getting a bit unpatient

 

I ordered and paid in full in September, via Alice. Did they order from a dealer or direct?

 

I ordered at the end of September and they told me mine ships tomorrow!

 

They ordrered through Alice and paid in mid-October! So I guess it should be sent soon, maybe in a few weeks

 

I caved and put myself on for a 6 month layaway yesterday with Alice for The Widow of the Deep Aurelia fullset. I never thought I would have humanoid dolls but here I am now with 2 jellyfish girls and 4 centaurs lol she's so pretty I can hardly wait to display her and my Rin jellyfish together. The transparent resin is so nice and I also saw in my layaway invoice that I'm getting a boy chest piece as a gift which is super cool. I love options!

 

I received him todaaaaay! I haven’t opened the box yet, but I’m very thankful that DV doesn’t use unnecessarily gigantic boxes! So nice to have a smaller box.

 

I've just received my blank Alborah naga doll via Clover Singing so those are starting to ship!

 

I just got an email the head I ordered shipped! Since it's just a head, it's not express shipping so it will still be a while until she gets here, but I honestly wasn't expecting her to ship until like the end of next month. So looks like Vanora and Adria are starting to ship too!

 

That's great news! I hope your head arrives faster than expected~ I just finished paying off my layaway on Adria, so I'm pretty excited!

 

Who did you order from? I ordered through Alice's Collection, so if you did too and you just paid her off, you might be hearing from them soon too!

I just got an update about my Crystal Bone Butterfly order (ordered December 12th through acbjd) and thought of sharing it in case anyone was wondering - at least 4-5 more months to wait apparently. Hope this is helpful

Oh sorry for the confusion, English is not my first language so I might have written it weirdly, but all I was reporting is that orders from December will take at least 4 more months to come since that's the latest info I have...
But I do hope you get yours quicker!

 

Oh! Apologies for the mistake, so it’s a total of 7-9 months of waiting from time of order currently. Alright, I’ll hunker down and keep with my hoped estimate of a July shipping notice. Thanks for the heads up!

 

Did you order the one with the transparent legs or the normal ver? Sad that it's apparently an 8 month wait but I'm not surprised. I'm guessing the dragons won't come out until September at least either.

 

I ordered the transparent version complete with wings, but blank with nothing else. Hope this info helps!
I honestly haven't expected anything else with the transparent resin being used.
Yeah probably also a bit more to wait with the dragons, although I don't have much info about those

 

Received a notification last night from BJDivas that my Uncia has arrived and is ready to be shipped to me!

Edit: My Cavna and Alborah had arrived with my Uncia! My snakes have to be shipped separately from the cat, but I've paid for the shipping so now I'm just waiting for them all to come home!

 

Hii! I’ve never posted in a waiting room before, but I figured this might be interesting for some people

I ordered a Full set Uncia (beast face ver.) through Allice‘s Collections last year (12. october.[I accidentally typed december when I posted this xD I just noticed it haha]) and asked her how long it could still take for him to be ready. Only about 1month more!

While I was at it, I also asked about an estimate for my other order (A full set Cedar I ordered on the 17.03.23) and that will probably take 6-7 months more! It’s still a while but maybe this is interesting for anyone

 

DDE just sent me the shipping notice for my full set Cavna! So excited to see the details and terrified of handling them too much.

I'm so excited for my little snake boy to get home. He is a red Cavna and I'm going to at some point try and give some of his scales a bit of black blushing.

 

Can't wait to see! Especially considering he's in red!

Yeah, I'm waiting for my two snakes and Uncia to ship from BJDivas. I thought I would at least get tracking for them this weekend as my friend said that is when BJDivas ship, but I hadn't gotten tracking for any of them yet.

 

I confirmed the address again because I didn't know if I had to.... Because my DZ MiYou shipped out but not Alborah, and I don't know why because I think Alborah arrived first.

 

That's actually really interesting. Most of the time I try to forget about the dragon I've got coming and just go with the flow, it'll arrive when it arrives. But I do want it to be here before November and with that schedule it looks like it might happen.
