Dream Valley Waiting Room

Ordered blank Purple, Rach with Faceup, and event Loxy (no qualifying faceup), March 9th through Angelesque. I got an estimated waiting time of 3-4 months, but I know Dream Valley's site was saying 4-5? so I've just decided to except the latter for my own sanity.

 

Ordered fullset purple from angelsque around march 5.

 

I ordered a Fullset Ding from Angelesque. I wish I needed a few more of their dolls I would have loved to get one of the foxes.

 

I ordered a blank Purple and blank Clorise (plus event Loxy) from Angelesque. My order was recently updated to say that Dream Valley is almost ready to ship. So hopefully it won't be -too- long now!

 

Hi all! I ordered a blank Purple through Taobao on Feb 14th, still no news about it

 

I ordered a blank Ding through Taobao on March 31, I'm nearing the 2-month mark. Just another 1-3 months to go!

 

Guys someone over at the facebook group bjd addicts just recived their Hyaline! They ordered late feburary. HYPE! It looks great too.

 

Ordered a blank Vine through Alice’s Collections on Sunday (5/27/18)! The patience game begins.

 

I ordered a silence head through Alice's. I hope to pair it up with Dollzone's female heart body I ordered last month and now we wait.

 

I ordered Dream Valley's Thorn with Full set A, Pink Skin and a free blank Peanut from Angelesque. It's my first brand new BJD and my first order, so I'm kinda nervous. I have a particular character in mind for thorn, however.

 

I ordered a fullset Thorn and fullset B Hyaline yesterday through Alice's. They'll be my first ever bjds so I'm really excited! I have characters in mind but nothing set in stone.

 

Also ordered a Thorn with three-armed body Full set B directly from Dream Valley - I'm very excited.

 

Finally buckled down and ordered my first Dream Valley doll from ACBJD! I was going to get a silence body for the sick arm, but figured I wanted my first Dream Valley doll to be a full doll. I may still get the body eventually, it's too cool to pass up.

I ended up deciding on Vine, since his body is just particularly beautiful and he has a sweet smile.

 

My Dream Valley Ding just arrived at my Taobao agent last night. They sent photos and everything looks perfect! I'm off to pay shipping now so the little guy can make his last part of his journey.

 

I got my shipping notice! Angelesque put in the order on March 9th, just in time for the event, and they shipped (from Angelesque) today on July 26th! I beat out the five month estimate by about two weeks!

 

I plan on getting a tan Silence in normal body. I'll be styling her as my D&D character, a Viera (final fantasy 12) Druid. Viera have long, slim bodies, and when I saw the dream valley body sculpt I was speechless.

 

I placed an order last week on the B4-04 body for my first ever doll Super excited, it looks like it's going to fit my character perfectly.

 

Does anyone know what the wait time is for blank dolls?

 

I've heard a range of 3-5 months, but I'm guessing right now it'd be on the longer end because of the event? Idk tho, I just don't want to be disappointed when the 3 month mark comes around

 

@Colorblindcrayons The only blank Dream Valley dolls that I know of having hit the boards already was a blank Purple ordered early February and arriving in early June and blank Tan Ding which had a very similar time period (though I don't know if they were both ordered through the same dealer etc). So that would have been the very start of that event when Purple was released.

On the flip side, I ordered a blank Purple, a face upped Rach, and qualified for a blank Loxy and got my shipping about 4 1/2 months in and I know my order was placed the very last day of the event. You probably should error on the side of 5 months given another event is going on.

 

I just received my blank Ding within the past 24 hours. I ordered at the end of March, so it was about a four-month wait for me.
I'm so happy he's here, though I don't have eyes small enough for him yet. Luckily, it doesn't show much as his eyes are mostly closed.

Oh congrats @UrbanHermit ! Counting your Ding that's definitely putting the wait for blank dolls at that four month mark isn't it.

I've ordered the B4-04 boy body in white skin on 11th June. I guess with what I read on here, I can expect it to arrive... mid-end october, which isn't the best time for me, but then again I'm in no hurry.
Just means I won't get to fully appreciate the body and play around with it upon arrival.

My Purple, Loxy and faceupped Rach all arrived on the 6th at my home but I won't be there to see them until Friday at the earliest. I was wondering if they'd beat me home, but dang, I wish it could have been slightly closer!

 

I have fullset Silence on order since June 14.. as cool as it would be for her to be a halloween kid, that feels a bit optimistic

I decided to order a Vine on the special arm body. I have him on a six month layaway with Alice's Collection. Now to wait. I'm really looking forward to getting him.

 

Guys! I am so pleased to say that I can officially join this waiting room. I put my first payment down on a blank Chloris on the winged body! I ordered her through DenverDoll. I'm so excited. I might order just the body to shell my next character and get a new head. This will me my first doll that I ever bought. I won one in a give away but sold her because she was too big. She went to a good home though. So I feel less bad.

 

My blank Vine was shipped yesterday! Now for the teeth-grinding part of waiting for him to arrive safely haha!

 

I spent the weekend bonding with him so I forgot to post here, but my blank Vine came in on Saturday!! God, he poses so well and is such a little charmer. So, I’ll be leaving the waiting room for now. I hope you guys get your resin bbys soon!

I just got notification that my Thorn has been shipped - I'm so excited

 

I've been bad... I'm still waiting on Vine but I just ordered Thorn with the arm body while the acbjd sale is active. I've been wanting that body since I learned that this company existed, and Thorn is just too creepy and cute.

I wanted to wait until I got Vine to ""make sure"" I liked DV's dolls in person, but... come on.

oh my lawwd, I just got shipped status on my silence 3 month after order! T_T
Just today I received my angel fantasy, ordered 2 weeks earlier, and eta 12 weeks, now silence, estimated 7 MONTHS, but taking just under 3 months , how is it Dream Valley is taking the shortest time out of all? is it a mistake?? ;o;
I ordered a full set .. still heard nothing from another blank doll I have ordered earlier x) wow.
hope its all good this was unexpected

 

@PrincessHeart I've seen other people get their Dream Valley orders after about 3 months so I'm guessing it's probably all good! Compared to similar companies (Dollzone, Doll Chateau) Dream Valley production times seem ridiculously fast. I'm guessing it's because they're still new?

Yeah looks like I was fully expecting another doll chateau (and whoever give that estimate xD) based on their origins and didn’t consider they are new and small, probably much less demand.. nice surprise for us

 

Good to know that its taking a bit shorter. I just finished my layaway and I was hearing 5..6 months because the event. I'm terrible at waiting. This hobby will show me patience!!!

 

Ordered a body in end of July. So it should arrive in the end of the year

 

I'm waiting on a silence head. Can't wait for that to come in. Now i'm kind of sorry I didn't order the whole doll since the body looks so nice. Maybe in the future I will.

 

So, uh... I got a message today from Alice’s and turns out the mystery package that they tried to deliver while I’m away in Florida is my Vine. I just got my shipping notification today and when I checked it said “attempted delivery”...

I’m excited to see him when I get home, I just hope they don’t send the package back...

 

I'm one month deep on my wait. It's so hard because I don't have a Doll right now to distract me.

 

Just got home to my lovely Vine early this morning!!! I ordered him on the last day of June so he actually took just shy of 3 months! The waiting time for this company is unreal, I can’t believe I can already expect Thorn in like as soon as a month.

Vine is gorgeous, feels like he should have cost twice as much lol

I'm jumping in rather late to this waiting room, but anyways Just got a shipping notice for my Seren from ACBJD! I ordered on July 29, and apparently it was already shipped on September 26. Less than 2 months is quite fast, considering I ordered through a dealer, and the average turnover is 3-5 months.

Hope everyone else's orders will be shipped by now as well!
