Did you make a separate order for the head?

 

I think all Devils come with the clear chest piece, or at least mine came with both without me asking. But with DZ, I think they produce a number of dolls before unveiling them, so sometimes they ship super fast. My Xiangliu shipped within 3-4 months even with all her joints. And I've seen a person report that their order of the 75slim shipped in a *week.* Otherwise they seem to cast in a truly mysterious order lol, I've seen one person wait a year for their 1/4 Yin-long.

Did you order in moon gray or light tan? My moon white Devil cat arrived in, August or September I think. Which tracks for the some amount of complexity she has. Did you order direct or through a dealer? If the latter, I'd reach out to the dealer tbh, I recently did that with my Coralreef tan rabbit order and Erica got back to me really fast. She shipped like a week later.

 

thanks for your thoughts about it. it is interesting to consider the small batch ahead of pre-order theory - defintely could explain a lot especially the 75 slim in a week! One time I did get one of theirs in only 3 months and about passed out from surprise.

mine is in the Moon White as well. I wasn't sure if the clear piece was a choice or not, good to know. but looking back through seems like even the clear jellyfish fellow shipped pretty quickly. I did check with my dealer, who said DZ hasn't fulfilled mine or other similar orders to them yet, so my curiosity got the better of me to ask here if others were having different experiences since it can depend on the dealers and their relationships with the makers in addition to whatever the makers are going through at the moment with production schedules. with golden week coming up soon I hope maybe they get out before all the shut downs for the festivities.

I am patient since DZ is like this, i just was a bit concerned since I'd seen yours delivered already - i think it was in October, so was hoping my order didn't get screwed up somehow. I didn't see anyone else say they got a Cat yet though.

BTW - did you get her head cap to work out?

 

I did! I ended up boiling some water in my dye pot and holding the headcap in it with tongs. After pulling it out I molded it and squished it to the faceplate and now she's just fine. Someone in a discord server reported the same problem, so I guess one of their molds was off. :/ But despite that she's a lovely doll, one of my faves in my collection. Hope yours comes out perfect, but you can prob do the same trick to fix it. The other person did and it worked great.

 

I ordered the jellyfish on the 70cm body with clear hands and he shipped in four months. I really like the look of Rock, but the wait times are making me wonder if I should order him or not...

 

not, it was all in one order, but they sent me one head to my dealer.

Any idea what DZ's current wait time on standard bodies is like? I ordered a new 75cm slim body on the day orders opened direct from their Taobao (but after the initial 200 orders that would be fulfilled by the end of December were all purchased). I'm debating ordering a second one right away, or waiting for the first body to ship, testing a head on it, and then ordering a second if it works out.
IIRC the listing said the remaining orders after the initial 200 would ship in about 3 months, but that seemed like one of those "I'll believe it when I see it" things, lol.

I'm a little concerned that they might discontinue their resin colors for matches to other companies' resins in that time frame though =x

Can confirm, the initial TB listing for the slim 75s said that they'd prepared some in advance, so the first 200 should've arrived within about a month.

 

I just placed an order for their 1/4 Snow elf head and I'm so excited! I only got the head + their makeup service, but now I'm wondering if I should have gotten the whole set... But I can always buy the body later. Does anyone have experience with their makeup service? The estimated time on their TB lists 2-3 months on top of the head production time, but I'm hoping that's an overestimate...

 

Well, here I am again! Dollzone's ocean-themed horror dolls have my wallet by the throat!
I've ordered the Rock fullset in White on the slim 75 body with an extra pair of hands. I'm hoping he's not going to take a year to be made...

 

I've ordered him too! And totally forgot that waiting rooms existed haha, order placed on December 27th for Rock fullset in White, the B75-001 body (Alice's calls it the Strong Boy Body?), some jointed hands and body blushing too. Here's hoping they arrive in a reasonable time!

That being said, a long wait is a small price to pay for Mr Pirate Man...

 

I waiting him too in mia white (fullset). Btw my dealer warned me about 8-10 months of producing. Also I still waiting a snake boy and moth.. But DZ sent me Moon's head, now JJ parts in the way and Troy's crown. Idk why Moth's order they sending me by parts, maybe not enough space will be in the box

 

I was also interested in that head so I could put on a cheaper body later, I'm curious to see how long it takes them!

 

Mine said 7-8!! Getting things in parts is always fun imo, it kind of keeps the excitement going for me?

Placed a direct order for a second 75 slim body the other day in Switch white so hopefully it doesn't take forever to manufacture

 

Told myself I can be normal about and not overdo my first doll in over a decade, soooo I went ahead and ordered blank Evan B head, slim 75cm body, jointed hands, and hand/feet extras a couple weeks ago... really regretting not ordering Evan A head too!! It's just so good! Would it tack on extra manufacturing time to add him on to my order, I wonder...

Feb 21st was my order date (for the 1/6th scale Yin Long) .... I wonder if I'm going to be inducted into the 1 year club. I'm really hoping he arrives before then though!

 

Alice recently quoted me at 3-4 more months on White Snake (sidebar, dreading getting the shipping bill for her!) if that estimate holds, that would put us at about 8 months. I’m okay if she takes longer than that too—I gotta make room for her on the shelf her family sits on.

 

I'm at 9 months for Tarot Devil Cat + human head (1/4 size).
I hope my wyvern doesn't take a whole year either.

I got really close to the DZ one year club one other time with my Aspara from the first release.

Did anyone order a DZ doll from denverdoll sometime around June/July 2024? I'm currently still waiting on a DZ The Judgement from then, getting to be a bit longer than I anticipated.

 

You can reach out and ask if they know where in the process things are at! DDE has always been super friendly and helpful for me! But considering how long the wait times are for a lot of the dolls, I wouldn't be surprised if you'll be waiting closer to 9 months unfortunately.

 

I've just placed a layaway on the same body through ACBJD so I'd really like to know too! I keep hearing that DZ waiting time now is up to 9 months on full sets ;v;
I had a look at the waitlists and some get their orders in 4-5 months which gives me a bit of hope...

 

Whatever it is, I'm about 2 months in on the first body and maybe 2 weeks on the 2nd one. I absolutely do NOT trust the estimate on the Taobao listing lol.

10 months nearly on the dot for the cat and 4.5 months for the wyvern.

Officially passed the 1 year mark for my dragon bb and I very much doubt he'll get here in the next two days before I leave for NYC Doll Con. Oh well.

 

This wait is gonna be longer than I thought. I am starting to itch so badly but I ordered her in December and I know I'll have to act like my Little Snow was never preordered XD

 

My Dollzone The Judgement has arrived to DDE and will be shipping to me soon, if anyone else ordered from the June 2024 event. I'm so excited. About 10 months of waiting, not the worst and definitely typical, but I've definitely been looking forward to her pretty bad.

Still no word on my yin long order with bjdivas. Messaged them earlier this week hoping for an update but haven't heard back. Ordered on 2/20/24 so it's officially been a year and 1 month

 

Alice just received my White Snake order a month or two earlier than she told me she would! Also she charged me a very reasonable amount for shipping—only $29, so my best guess is I only had to pay the difference between the amount she pays for the free shipping, and the amount it costs to ship a doll as massive as White Snake (who is as long as me when her tail is all uncurled!)

I’ll update the wait list when I officially have a shipping number, but I am soooo excited for my girl to come in.

Oh, I will be taking a photo with her like she’s a fish I’ve caught to show off her size! Officially my biggest girl, by a broad margin. Alice says they’ll have tracking to me by Friday for her, and it’s usually a couple weeks by EMS to get dolls in! I miss when AC’s free shipping was dhl…

I officially have tracking for White Snake. She’s shipping EMS, so I’m expecting a couple weeks before she’s in my hands, depending on what Canada customs does when they get her. Usually packages from Alice go through without much issue because Alice usually underdeclares.

We’re so close to fish photos lol. I swear, waiting for shipping is more painful than waiting for the doll to be made, because she already exists, why can’t I be painting her?

 

Huh my Dollzone slim 75 shipped out today, I was expecting a way longer time like 6 months as opposed to 4 months. I'm certainly not complaining at this, I guess I'm extra baffled by the wait times.

 

This is awesome news!! I gotta wait for my head and hands with my body order but this has me hopeful the wait will be shorter than I thought overall!

 

I think for DZ US dealers get a much longer wait than Chinese dealers like Alice so if you went with Alice, chances are it'll be not that bad. I plan on the body being for my devotion doll Bite Sp.

 

i ordered my DZ light fullset at the end of oct through legendoll. I'm told that it'll be about another 6~8 weeks.

 

The body came and it's very pretty and fits id75 clothes really nicely!

 

White snake is at the post office, just waiting for me to come rescue her!!! That shipping was lightning fast, I was expecting multiple weeks, but no, she’s already waiting for me. Alice’s is really too good to me.

Pics incoming soon tonight, when I have time to pick her up, unbox her, and do just so many photos.

 

6-8 weeks for them to get it? I'm hoping that's to them, since I'm going to be doing a lot of work travel the next two months and I'll have to have it shipped to a friend if it comes any sooner.

I was told to expect 1-2 more months of a wait on my painted Light than my blank White Snake, so it seems like there’s only a little delay, if the info Alice gave me is accurate

 

Just received my first DZ Slim 75 body today. I ordered it the day preorders went up on Taobao, which I believe was around December 10th? It arrived at my forwarder about 3 days ago. Working time ~4 months.

I have another one in production that's a problem for future me to deal with lol. I think I ordered it in January or early February.

 

Shipping notification received today from legenddoll for my DZ Light fullset ordered Oct 28.
Total of 7.6 months of waiting since ordering.
About 9.5 weeks after I was told it would be an additional 6~8 weeks back in April 7.

 

My DZ 1/6 Little Snow should arrive in August after I ordered her in December... sheer torture XD

Whaaa? A fullset Light shipping already? That's so exciting! I figured that one would be closer to the 9 months-1 year end of the spectrum, but I'm certainly not going to complain if we start seeing owner pics surface before then. I hope that means mine will be on the way soon, too. Mine's ordered through ACBJD , right about the same time (Oct 29 I think?), so... maaaaybe?

 

I've officially hit 1 year and 4 months of waiting for my Yin Long Po. BJDivas has been in contact with me and said that DZ hadn't shipped him yet so I have no idea what's up.

 

I'm so sorry guys, it was a false alarm. I mixed up the Legenddoll order numbers, so this tracking number was for a different legenddoll order i did later. I was so surprised to come to see a not-doll-sized box when i came home >_<. so my DZ light has yet to be completed and shipped.

 

My second 75 slim body shipped to my warehouse a few days ago. Direct order via DZ's Taobao, placed mid January.

 

I just got my blank 75 slim body with 2 extra pair of hands! Ordered on layaway from Alice's collection at the end of January, shipped at the end of June.

 

Nice to hear some of the slim 75s are coming in! I ordered my Rock on that body, so hopefully he won't take too much longer (it's coming up to 6 months, but from what I hear of DZ's fullset wait times, I'm expecting 8–9)

Got an update from Legenddoll that my 75 slim body/joint hands/Evan head orderd in December will be another month or so! I'm beyond ready after seeing owner pics of the head and body!!!!

 

Ahhhh just heard from BJDivas last night that my boy seems to be on his way to them! Here's to hoping he arrives this month for my birthday!

It iiiiiis. He was supposed to have been in the last batch but only blank dolls arrived, none of the fullsets apparently. Plus add in the whole tariff situation and the owner getting sick - it's been a while but I'm really hopeful that he'll arrive soon!
