Okay end of the day's picture spam (sorry!) I managed to put on her outfit. One hell of a complicated costume (things had to be tied under her leotard + corset combo...) but it paid off in the end. The photo is a bad phone picture in bad light, but she looks as amazing as the promotional pictures IRL.
Only negative thing I've got to say is there were a couple smudgy marks (like faint pencil marks?) on her that I'm not sure were caused by the garters, thankfully not on blushed areas, but they came off with a magic sponge so that's OK. I'll give her a better look tomorrow in the daylight just in case.

She looks very cute but also mischievous! I'll definitely have a lot of fun with her. Finally Mina has another doll she can interact with!

I just received word form Alice's Collections that the Jiu Er Mao 1/3 rd body is on the way already! Incredibly fast , wow, exactly two months after ordering.

No word about the Hybrid head yet. But about the body being on its way! It's been quite a few years since new resin entered this house

 

The body arrived here safely yesterday! So Quickly! By the time I received notification, the package was already in Newark, yay!

A two month turn-around? That’s crazy impressive!

I’m currently 2 weeks shy of a year, waiting for a queens’ body for my red lotus head. I ordered through Ball Jointed Divas on December 10th.

That’s what I’m heard, but I’d been hopeful since my last three orders with them went so perfectly and had such reasonable turn around times.

When I reached out in October, they told me this was due to “Coral Reef’s surge in popularity” and I shouldn’t worry, which makes sense, but I also can’t help but feels a little frustrated.
I guess this is what I get for being an impatient person in this hobby, though

 

Here's hoping it will now be sooner rather than later!!! And most of your wait is done!

 

Has anyone ordered direct from Coral Reef through their instagram? They're saying this is something I can do but I want to make sure it's safe. They haven't provided any other options to buy the doll I want, dealers don't have it anymore.

I had ordered both of the murderbuns directly. They don't answer as quick as a dealer, but there weren't any misunderstanding or anything that wasn't clear.

 

I placed an order for Unicorn Beetle, human body with Fullset A! I'm really excited but also very nervous. Sounds like I have a long time to wait, fingers crossed that everything goes well!

 

@tsukibun you could still order her? There's a chance that things will go like they did for my Caroline and you'll receive the fullset way earlier than expected!

 

I was surprised but they said I could! I honestly have no idea how long it will take but I'm guessing 6+ months so I don't get my hopes up.

 

I'm thinking about getting the 62cm body in AS pink....I'm assuming at least a 3 month wait?

 

Just got the notification my 1/3 body in normal pink shipped! I'm hoping to hybrid it with my Merrydollround Fang in strawberry, I'm so excited for her to get here! The wait between ordering and shipping was about 2 months?

I just got the 62cm rounded body from legend doll in as light pink I'm praying somewhat matches my impldoll head

 

The Unicorn Beetle girl I ordered in August through Alice Collections just arrived I ordered her blank - I was thinking about getting her with makeup B initially but I didn't have an idea for her yet, so thought would be best to get her blank in case the colour scheme didn't suit me. I only had time to check roughly if her body and wings are ok, will be out rest of the day, but I will try to take some box opening pics tomorrow as both the doll and THE BOX are gorgeous! I wasn't going to make a box opening thread for her originally but I think I will have to as she is such a grand gal! I ordered her in "close to mia white" - she has a white puffer fish (so cute) neck donut, so the pics will also show the difference in resin.

Also dropping by to say I've put another CR doll on layaway, Ling! Got her blank on a whale island body. She will be my first attempt at doing my own faceup (or if I'm not happy with what I do, I'll send her out to an artist).

 

My (very short) wait is over! My mie mie is home! I was just going to poke legenddoll about when I could expect shipment, but it turned out she had already been sent and arrived before I got around to it!

 

First time waiting for a doll! Mine is a Cornflower head with the Orca (1/4 male) body. A person in my local suddenly fell out of love with the doll even when he hadn't arrived so they gave the slot for me with discounts lol so the wait is gonna be very short. Cornflower has finally arrived (basically)! He's now at my dealer's place and will be shipped to me in a few days. I'm so excited I can't sleep (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ I'll update his arrival as soon as possible XD Too bad I haven't found any clothes for the lil guy lol I think he's gotta stay nude for a month

I'm still waiting for my Killer Whale a le carte tail piece that I bought in March from BJDivas, but very excited!

 

I ordered her too, back in July! Mia white fullset, and I ordered an extra head with the human makeup in pink normal because I have a body that could use a head lol. Halfway through my layaway! I'm insanely excited, been wanting a jellyfish themed doll for ages

@Amadiel That's neat! The hands on the witch body are so fun looking! I thought about getting the witch body too but chose the girl style option so the doll would be on the shorter side compared to my other dolls. We will see what happens when she arrives.

Hi all, especially @Seafoam Shade and @Amadiel, also waiting for a 1/4 ‘Iris’ except mine is on the Pure Girl body, gourd joint option with small boobies and an extra pair of hands. I do like the look of the Witch body and hands though, might be what I’m after for a floating CR ‘Lotus’ head I have. I’ll see how it looks on Iris’s body when I get her.

Sure @Seafoam Shade, it’ll look a bit odd as the ‘Lotus’ head is grey resin and I ordered Iris in NS but if the proportions look ok then I’ll probably order the ‘Witch’ body for it….love the long nailed hands!
