Asleep Eidolon Waiting Room <3

Lol, I ordered that Polar Night fullset Dolkus had on their website for months, during the winter sale.

The sale made it so the fullset was basically original retail (as opposed to the ridiculous price it had before). Seemed like a decent deal considering.

So far Dolkus has been decent, too. I bought her in two payments which were both confirmed quickly and I've already been asked to confirm my address. However, a few days after I'd done that ( this morning) I recieved the picture to confirm the contents.

The picture quality is so, so bad you guys. I think it looks alright, but really I can't be sure. At best I can say there's seemingly enough stuff, but eh, normally this is a given. I feel if you go though the trouble of doing photo confirmation you ought to make sure the photo looks good. Otherwise you might as well not bother, you're just increasing your odds of making a mistake by handling items more than neccessary.
Not a big deal overall, just strange.

Now let's see if she's actually shipped in a timely manner

 

So if I'm reading things right the wait time is something between 3-6 months? I've been eyeing the 27cm Cordelia and ended up asking if the boy version really is still available at Legend Doll since they list it at the site despite Aedoll site saying it's out of stock and they said he can still be ordered so I might end up placing an order for him ^^ for some reason I've been in the mood for mature tinies lately, the idea of having doll so small that you can easily take it with you everywhere is just really appealing.

 

All my AE orders have taken 5-6 months so would say that's their normal wait time. The Lunar new year is coming up so that can add a couple of weeks to production time.
Legend Doll has an arrangement with AE that they get a set number of each doll which is why LD can still order time sensitive dolls that have gone out of stock on AE's site.

 

Thanks, that's good to know, I kind of feared that they had just forgotten to remove the doll so I asked first before placing an order just in case ^^ but I'll prepare myself mentally for longer wait then, it'll be fun surprise when I'll eventually get the shipping notice then since I will forget about even ordering it by then.

 

Don’t think I posted here when I ordered him, but I snagged apparently the last Abyss fullset from AE back in October and he arrived home yesterday. After collecting these dolls for going into 14 years, this is the first time I’ve ever bought a fullset doll.

Anyway, super happy to add another doll to the o-face crew. I’ll probably be ordering some spare hands as well as heel feet + more hands for my old Coral girl too down the road.

That's such a mood @sammu I just counted and I'm at 85 working days of waiting too (minus whatever holidays have been since February I suppose) Feels like forever although it's been only 4 months. I'm so ready for Cordelia to come home already so I can start working on a wig for him and some cute teeny tiny clothes etc

Oh my god, I just got a note my Cordelia shipped I was expecting 2 more months of waiting.

 

Joining this waiting room. Been eyeing this company for a while now and I finally took the plunge. Ordered Ivy with the Ode make-up and in peach skin.
A bit nervous about the production times (especially since I'm at the very end of the promotion period), but I'm still excited for her! Hope they can ship her before the holiday season though.

 

After three stressful weeks of being tossed around in shipping my boy finally arrived today! He's so tiny, so light, so cute!



His default eyes were really light green so I swapped them to brown Ashuradark eyes and much prefer them even if they're tiny bit too big for him.

@digi Congratulations! What even is his eye size? Is he fiddly?

 

He hates standing on his own (most likely because his feet are super tiny and I have no shoes for him), isn't exactly acrobat as far as his posing capabilities go and he also feels to be strung pretty loosely, but so was my Myou Alan so that likely just is what they do with these tiny dolls to keep them from breaking. His eyes are 6mm, the ones I put on him in the pictures are 8mm so they are bit big. I seriously need to look for some 6mm eyes for him. I'm also gonna try if adding some hot glue will help with his posing at some point.

 

Just placed an order for Kiir, I absolutely love AE’s 1/4 sized dolls so I knew I had to snag one. It was hard to choose because they’re all so cute but she stole my heart away when I laid eyes on her. Its just too easy to buy more dolls

 

I'll join you in the waiting game. I've ordered an Azuki SP doll. I've been eyeing her for a while~

 

Did anyone else order in on little Freya? I'm feeling impatient cause it's been over 7 months now ;~; but I did order extras-clothes and hands. Just wondering if anybody got her yet!

Does anyone have a resin comparison of Asleep Eidolon white (either of their whites or both) and Volks white? I would really appreciate it

 

I've seen more owner pictures of the Ivy doll popping up, so it looks like the dolls are getting shipped out. I'm at five months now, so I might see her early February?

My Ivy arrived! Waited a little over six months. Their peach skin looks beautiful under natural light, definitely worth the extra money. She's very cute in-person and I really like the body, it's so dainty lol.
Face up is a lot lighter than on the promo pictures though.

 

She is gorgeous!

 

Wow, she's beautiful! Her lips are really light compared to the promo photos though. Does she have the beauty marks? I loved them in the pics.

Her lips are super light, kinda disappointed because I was mainly choosing this face up for the darker lips lol.
She only has the beauty mark under the eye. There was an attempt to draw the one under the lips, but it's not really visible. Guess I'll add it myself sometime in the future.

I'm so exhausted of bugging AE about my order It is repeatedly passing the time estimates they are giving me... I ordered 14 months ago ;~;

 

Waiting on my AE Cordelia (27cm) to arrive, it's in transit right now! :] I'm very excited.

I originally wanted to buy Ivy (The Ode) later too but if the makeup can end up lighter than in the promos, I'm not sure I should go through with it... the dark eyeshadow and lipstick were what drew me to her, even though she does still look gorgeous with lighter makeup.

 

I'm now waiting for 5 AE dolls (I already own 3). Shame on me

I think this is probably my favourite bjd company. Dolls usually are shipped after 3-5 months waiting.

Double post, oops-
But I just got a shipping notification for my Freya!!! it's only been barely over 2 months since I placed the order, and she's already on the way?! I was not expecting her so soon at all, now I just hope her trip home is safe and fast

Edit: She arrived in the Netherlands on Friday, maybe if I'm super lucky and the trip from NL to Finland is as quick as usual and there's no issues with customs, she'll be home next Friday (realistically it'll probably be more like two weeks, but a girl can dream)

 

WOW! That’s such a fast turnaround time (part of what’s put me off more AE dolls is the wait can be so very long…. my two boys took about six and eight months respectively I did recently order a Xaga head though so I’m hoping it’ll ship as quick as your girl did)

Freya's here! It did end up taking her two and a half weeks to get here, but ahhhh she's so worth the constant refreshing of the tracking page she's so small, but still so detailed and nicely finished! Sadly she timed her arrival perfectly in the middle of our move, so I don't have the time to work on her for at least a couple weeks, bleh.

I just realized the doll I ordered was a Xaga Doll... ooops the website confused me a little.

 

I'm curious... is the website still functional? Do they take orders direct? There is a notice (see the "news" section) where they say they will stop updating the site in 2023 and will only accept orders through dealers.
Since Alice's Collections is a dealer for Xaga is it possible to order AE dolls from them as well?

 

I've usually used Legend Doll as a dealer for AE and been happy with them. They also have a deal with AE that they can order a certain amount of time limited dolls outside of the ordering period which is handy

I think I didn't post here about my order but in case someone comes around here but doesn't check the waitlist, I had ordered a ruan mian plump body the 14th of december of 2024. I received it yesterday. They have done a great job with the notches and the poseability of this body, I'm impressed and I love how it looks. I know some people don't like the notches so I would avoid this body in that case, but for me that I take a lot of outside photography this is the dream. We'll see how it ages though, considering how the notches are sculpted they might get a bit smoother in time with use, we'll see...

Cons though, the feet maybe are a bit small for the weight of her bum but so far she seems to pose great in despite of it. Quality of resin is good in general but I noticed a drop in thickness and overall quality in the default hands. This doesn't happen in the extra hands I got, only the ones she came with. And in fact I received one of them with broken fingers (fingers are missing it seems). I got the body through NCS and I already contacted them so I'm waiting to see what solution I'm given. I thought about sharing in case the info is useful to anyone that is waiting or planning to buy.

 

I got my legendoll ruan mian and I really like her. I also caved and got the in stock conjoined twin fullset because I had been having serious regret missing that order and that set looked perfect

 

So... I received the replacement hands this week and I don't know how to feel really... They sent me the wrong hands and in the wrong colour. I want to think it might be just an oversight but... it also seems kind of intentional, in the sense they didn't even bother to check sculpt and skin tone and just sent "replacement hands" to get it done without a single care or they didn't want to send replacement hands from the new body for whatever reason.

I don't know how many people nowadays buy their old body but I'm guessing is not many compared to their newer ones. They sent me the old hands that are not compatible, they don't fit since they're too small and the pair they sent me look yellowed (looked at their old body tones and looks like yellowed milk white (my body is mia pink)).
So not sure about their customer service generally but not good on this occasion and certainly has raised my reluctance to buy from this company again, as much as I like the body I received.
Now I'm waiting for another pair but this time directly from NCS stock. So glad I got the body through them and also sorry they have to cover for the problem the company caused. But the fact they decided to do this instead of contacting AE again also makes me think some things, to be honest. One thing is clear, if I ordered from Asleep Eidolon again I would do it through dealer, just in case.

 

I've just ordered a Xiang Sidou SP 78cm Girl, plus 1pr Hands X-F-78 = B, all in Normal resin, through Legend Doll on July 29, 2025. Thought I'd take advantage of their free shipping event.
I was rather displeased that Legend Doll charged PayPal fees as part of the checkout.
This is my first Asleep Eidolon doll (and biggest bjd I've ever bought), and first time ordering from Legend Doll... I've been anxious leading up to the order, and as above, not pleased with the extra fee.
How are Asleep Eidolon and Legend Doll for wait times? Has anyone had to wait over 6 months?
