Here's my boy Eli taking a ride on CalTrain, from San Jose, CA, USA to San Francisco, CA, USA -- ride was approximately 64 minutes long.

Did a photostory chapter here over a year ago about a train trip to a meet, Tarrant's Terrible Day. Here's a couple of pix minus the dialogue:

It was a rough trip, mostly because the ride in was packed and he had to stay sitting in the cramped case--


Coming home I could spread out the case and let him out more, but--


--it was still a very bumpy ride!


He doesn't eat, but the motion sickness was pretty bad!

 

I dunno how you guys are getting these shots- Every time I've tried to take pictures around public transport somebody scolds me for compromising security.

 

How odd I've taken photos of my boys on the train, train station etc. all the time and never once got scolded. Must just be some real uptight security in the area you live in.

I only once got scolded for taking pictures of one of my boys in public and that was in the underground mall.

Tae-Jun went on the Amtrak with me to Chicago last weekend for Anime Central.

He got some interesting reactions, including "That scared the hell out of me! It's cool though." And a little girl grabbing his foot and saying "Baby!"

Note that I didn't have a full grasp of her personality when I did this...I prolly would have done the dialogue differently now that I know her better.

OMG I'm so surprised I haven't seen this thread before! ^^ Everyone's pictures are great - I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who takes their dolls around (and takes pictures of them, too!). I am somewhat err... notorious for "Dollies on the Bus" pictures and have at least one picture of almost all my crew on the bus (only missing a few). It's nice to know I'm not alone. :3

I never intended to hav them be like a romantic pairing or anything, but on the way home from a meet up I put them sitting next to each other looking out the window, and my friend Brayn and I startedf talking about dolls and ghosts and what not and all the sudden bryan looked over at them and says "aww, they're cuddling!" and I was lie "I didn't do that!"





they thought they were so cute!

Wow, haven't posted here since 2009, and yet we take public transportion every month! (But the seats are very close together these days, and sometimes it's just too crowded to get a window seat!)

 

My Floy, Yuri, came with my mom and I this weekend to a little country town to deliver a loaf of bread~ (LOL, that sounds so quaint.) I was able to take all kinds of pictures when we stopped at the terminus, but these are my favorites:





I had his hoods (yes, hoods) up most of the time to keep his travel wig from coming off in my bag...It looks so silly most of the time, but it's actually alright here!
