Where is the best place to order Xaga dolls?

 

Ooooh congrats on your dolls. I just ordered Xaga Doll Vic like 2 weeks ago so I think I have a while to wait. So I hope what people say about them is true that they are worth the wait.

 

I would say "best" is subjective. Mint On Card is/was one option, but right now ordering from Xaga is turned off because they are not sure if they plan to continue dealing with them due to Xaga's new ownership. (I read that on Tumblr.)

Other options include Alice Collections and Doll'sSinging (aka: Jeeryama).

Congrats on ordering your Vic! What resin color did you choose? I ordered my May boy in WS, which I'm a little nervous about because I only own two other WS dolls (and one is closer to a pale NS as opposed to white).

 

Thanks! Those were the options I found. I think I will watch for a bit! A month delay in ordering won't make much of difference in the delivery!

 

I ordered him in the V-Normal Skin. I wanted him to be as close to the picture as I could get.
I looked at May, and he is so cute! I think he will look great in WS!

And thank you. I'm excited about my May. I've loved his sculpt since Xaga released him... although originally I had planned to buy the sculpt on a girl body. Swapped characters for him last minute.

I ordered this wig for my May---the goal is to dye part of it aqua or turquoise. Ultimately I also want to buy him a pair of Enchanted Doll eyes.

Do you have your Vic's wig or eyes planned yet?

 

Well to be honest I haven't given it much thought on where to get them. But I want a light colored wig for him similar to his picture. But I was thinking for green eyes. Do you have any suggestion where to look?

Well, wig-wise you could always go for a fur or soy wig, since the one in the promos appears fluffy. Lots of 8-9" options in light blond on etsy. If you don't want to go that route, you could opt for a heat resistant fiber wig in Crobi's Milky Blond (not necessarily that style).

As for eyes, if you want glass, Beetle's eyes offers various shades of green. Dunno what price you're looking at, but if you are interested in urethane Makos offers some gorgeous greens, too... like Owl 11. Makos will also add black pupils to any of their colored-pupil eyes upon request, so, like, Moon 9 could also be ordered with black pupils (depending on the style you're going for).

Sorry. I'm a little addicted to urethane eyes.

Right now I'm working on a cat tail for my incoming May boy. My goal is to finish it and a pair of ears before he ships, which I don't think should be too much of a problem given Xaga wait times.

I'm trying to keep my mind off of it by keeping myself busy with work, outings, and learning how to sew for my dollies. I do have his company photo as the background on my phone so I won't forget him and to know why I'm working so much overtime. XD So, so far it's going good. Now in a few months might be a different story. I'm almost at two months myself.

My plan is to re-shell a character. Still gotta see what the normal skin looks like to check out what bodies could work for him :3

 

OOO! Congrats on your latest order, @Snowy! I almost bought an Alva, but in the end, my May boy won. I was torn between those two sculpts for many months, though.

 

@PeppermintPocky Thanks May was on my potential list as a girl for a character, but in the end I decided to only get the Alva head for now, to see how the resin color looks in real. And then I've got to start looking for a body ^^° For once the one provided is unfortunately too large.

 

Hi everyone. Popping in here to plunk down for the long wait as I ordered Hana and Candy from Alices collections today. Im hoping i wont have to see these guys in January of next year, but Im patient. I've also thought about eventually ordering a Laura and a silvia sometime later on, but right now im just rather excited.

 

I had considered May for a girl, too. I hope you're able to find a matching body for your Alva easily!

Apparently my May boy shipped last Friday () and I overlooked his shipping notice. I'm excited but also nervous because his tracking number still doesn't work after seven days in transit.

I contacted Doll'sSinging and asked if she could check the tracking on her end. Hopefully the numbers were just transposed and he'll be delivered without issue.

How long did you wait for yours...? I've read that Xaga dolls can take up to 40 weeks...

 

About 4 months, which is shorter than I anticipated. I ordered him via Doll'sSinging/jeeryama because it's always a wonderful experience ordering through her (for me, anyway). Unlike some of XagaDoll's other authorized dealers, jeeryama puts orders in one at a time as opposed to large group orders. I'm guessing that may contribute to my quicker wait time.

My May was delivered today, btw, so I guess I was worried about his tracking for nothing. Will share a box opening thread soon. His sculpt is beautiful, even blank.

To add to a previous reply, their free shipping event is exclusive to their website (makes sense since they don't have to pay eBay fees) and is temporary. I'm not sure when the end date is, though.

But yeah, just wanted to add that because I've ordered from her website before and had to pay shipping (which is typically between $20-30 for USA residents).

 

Yeah, she gives out a free wig too like she does on ebay. Not sure if that's temporary or not. I have 3 dolls coming from her and 3 wigs xD. The 3rd is a dikadoll.

 

I'm 99% sure the free wig promo is permanent. She's offered that since the first time I ordered via her eBay shop back in 2010 or so.

And oOoOo... I know this is a XagaDoll waiting room, but mind if I ask which Dikadoll you are waiting on? I own an AAAAA. Lovely sculpts.

I ordered a Milk January 25th. I skimmed through here hoping the wait time wasn't really 40 weeks. Seems like some of you didn't have to wait that long but oh boy... I will not be expecting mine any time soon.

How do you let her know which wig you want?

 

Just message her a link to the one you'd like. Can be any wig be it on her website or ebay. I'm getting a grey one,a brown one, and a pink one. So far I like ordering from her but I will reserve finally judgement for after I get my dolls.

She said my Dikadoll would be ready in May and my 2 Xaga dolls in June.

The anticipation is intense @.@

Edit: The wig can be any size, doesn't have to fit for your doll. I'm getting all 7-8" wigs but one of my dolls is only 14cm tall.

 

My milk came in today. So, for anyone looking for the most recent wait time, that's just 2 days short of 4 months...?

I just placed an order with Alice's Collections for a Xaga Bobby. I'm so excited! I've been eyeing her forever and finally went for it.

Hana is such a cutie, too! My three favorite Xaga Green Obsidians are Bobby, Hana, and Milk. So cute! I hope I don't find myself needing all three of them. lol

 

I placed an order for Purple Black Obsidian July with Legenddoll on May 3rd. I can't wait to get her!

 

Alices collections let me know the Xaga order is shipped! Lets see how long it takes for them to get to me but thats... Hmm...a little over three months give or take? Much better than what i was expecting

 

Finished payment today on a second hand Sylvia boy from the marketplace here on DoA! He's basically brand new, and I only have to wait for him to ship from the West coast to the East coast, I can't wait! I really want to sand his nose bridge down some and make him look as close to a Unoa as possible. I've always wanted a Unoa Fluorite/Azurite but they're so rare, and their features have always been less detailed than I'd prefer. I'm so excited to get my lil' guy, I'll post pics when he gets here and then after I've modded him and gotten a faceup finished! ^O^

 

I contacted my retailer, who in return contacted Xaga because of the head I ordered mid-February. Supposedly he should be shipped to my retailer in about a week :3 We'll see.
