Where Have All the Catboys Gone? || XagaDoll May

To be honest, I was secretly hoping this boy wouldn't arrive until next month since he is... well, a XagaDoll May. But I shall not complain.

I love polka dots, so when I saw the XagaDoll box I couldn't help but squee.



Extra goods! A pair of eyes, some postcards, the wig I ordered, and an awesome COA with a custom "XAGA" wax seal. I love the wax seal so much I decided to open the COA with a knife so I wouldn't ruin it.

Such a beautiful sculpt! I love his face, although he has what I call "Ross Perot ears." (Showin' my age here, folks.)

The PUNKMOMO wig I ordered for him. Great quality but I wanted snow/pure white. That's okay, though. I ordered him a replacement that hopefully will work.

I also need to order him some 12mm urethane eyes. Right now he's wearing a very, very old pair of MAKOs (from before they were even branded MAKO, heh).



In case you didn't guess from this thread's title, Eon is a catboy---rather, he will be a catboy once I receive his proper wig so I can sew his fluffy ears to it. I made his long tail out of yarn and it is very, very soft! Will make all my future catfolks purr with delight, I'm sure.

This is also the point where I realized HOW DANG TALL this boy is compared to my other minis. These worn-out/apocalypse pants barely reach his ankles. He is 46.5cm or 47cm.



Please pardon Eon's nakedness. He was sick of wearing high-waters.

May reduce the size/pattern for his ears once his wig arrives. As is they look a little large to me.

Anyway, I know there are not too many 1/4 XagaDolls out there so I’m going to take a moment to share my initial thoughts:

— His face sculpt is more adorable than I anticipated.
— His WS is a light cream. For some reason, I was expecting paper white.
— Stood right out of the box.
— Holds a lot of poses (although not as many as my MNF and Loongsoul).

Oh my! Thank you! I will be sure to update this thread once he has a face-up and proper eyes/wig/etc.

The tail is made out of acrylic yarn, yes. Brushing it out took FOREVER. Plan to make more in the future, though, so the work wasn't too strenuous, heh.
