Waaah T-T Want shipping notice so bad. *chews on lips* It's getting too close to Christmas...

 

Still waiting on confirmation, but the last payment has been made!

They FINALLY shipped her out yesterday after I had to open a paypal dispute because they wouldn't respond. they apologized and will be refunding me for shipping costs due to the fact she was supposed to be shipped out 2 weeks ago. They used the same excuse as last time and it made me upset, I know your preparing for the Christmas limited, but you also have orders that need to be filled.

 

Well I'm glad she's on the way and its good that they're refunding the shipping cost. Hopefully she has a quick and safe journey

Final payment confirmed! They agreed to not ship her for a few weeks, though, so hopefully I'll have her shortly after my Christmas travels.

 

With doll ships 8 weeks after your final layaway payment. That's how they do it :-P

 

I guess it doesn't matter then. I had just asked them to hold her until I was back so she didn't end up in a post office pile if she happened to ship early, and they said they would.

I messaged again as my girl is overdue. They promised she'd ship this week but it's now Friday and no notice.

I feel the same, it's all very well doing events, but shouldn't customers who have already ordered and paid come first?

 

Exactly! Just keep on them, I'm sure they'll respond. My girl should be here today or tomorrow I'm really hoping so anyways.

 

I have to count 3-4 days shipping, plus a week or more for customs then delivery. Sigh

So Withdoll replied saying they're very sorry but that they're still waiting on the faceup. That she should ship next week now. I'm so screwed on her getting here before our office closes for Christmas. I think I'm just going to have to mail them and get the delivery address changed to my home instead...

I feel annoyed cause I paid in full in August! But I guess I've never gotten a limited edition doll before with all the extras. And everyone else that's been shipped has been without faceups. It's just the wait and uncertainty of the safety of the delivery that's making me anxious and cranky... It'll be ok. *crosses fingers*

 

My Cecily finally arrived, though I'm so sorry to hear about all of these problems everyone is having! I hope you can all get them worked out and hopefully you'll see your dolls soon.

 

With all the shipping being behind I'm starting to worry about the Nana I ordered. Since I ordered real uv skin I think I'll wait another two weeks (it'll be 8 weeks on Friday). Then I will start to fret. So if I don't hear anything by Christmas then freak. I just hope things work out.

 

Argh, I'm irritated at Withdoll. I see from our notes in this thread that orders paid in full AFTER mine have already shipped, but not mine. I posted on their Q&A board about this and hope to hear from them soon. >_>

Goodness, that is disappointing! Seems like asking them about it is a good way to get things moving, but certainly your order should have shipped long before mine!

 

Yep, it looks like there is a delay with most Adrianas, which makes me feel a bit better. At least it's not just me.

It seems a bit bad of them though. I feel like they should be prioritising their orders better.

 

She's Home! I know I was upset about the wait, but it was definitely worth it! She's so pretty and well made and she stands amazingly well.

 

Oooh, can we have some pictures, please? I'm particularly looking for details on the body as a stander and poser, as well as photos of the blank cracked head.

P.S. It's nice to know that someone got their Adriana!

1:1 mailed again about lack of shipping, basically saying I appreciate that they're busy with their holiday event, but that they should be prioritising their existing orders.

 

I don't blame you, looking at the order list it seems they pretty much just skipped August orders altogether. Got me kind of worried about when my split and personal orders will ever show up.

 

It looks like the Adriana orders with faceups are the ones thrown off (minus . I guess they weren't thinking straight with the cracked faceup? Or maybe they just flat out didn't have an appropriate game plan in place? I'm kind of frustrated for those orders.

Granted, I'm at ten weeks as of Friday the 11th. But you guys are further along than anyone else. But keep us informed. I really am just surprised at what's going on.

 

For anyone who ordered in October - I contacted WITHdoll to ask about a shipping estimate for the Rosa I ordered on 10/7, and they told me they would ship her out on 12/28. It's going to be nearly a 3 month wait for me, and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't actually ship her out on 12/28, either.

 

So they really are backed up. That's a but disheartening. I may have been a little excited to think my order would arrive before Christmas.
Oh well, I'll just sit back and figure out shoes still. I just can't find decent boots that would work for a poor traveling mage.

 

That's not really backed up, though, if they were to ship her by 12/28. Don't they say generally 10 weeks for production and an extra 2 weeks if you get options (faceup etc.)? 12 weeks from Oct 7 would be Dec 30. So hopefully they'll get your girl shipped out just in time

 

@Scarele, they must be. I was hoping I'd get Rosa in by Christmas, as well.

They told me she would take an extra 2 weeks because I ordered her with faceup, and looking at your order I see that you did not order your Nana with a faceup. So hopefully you'll get a shipping notification soon. But I have a strange suspicion that they ship out dolls in batches.

@NoDivision, you're right. However, when I initially spoke to them they told me that they had every intention to ship Rosa out quickly and hopefully before her deadline. <- Their words, not mine. I also wasn't aware that faceup counted as "extras," but now I know. Just a bit bummed is all. This is the longest I've ever waited for a doll! October feels like it was ages ago.

 

I know the feeling - I've been waiting since September and it's never easy! My girl shipped exactly at 12 weeks and that's probably the longest I've waited for a doll as well.

 

I was quoted 10 weeks even with the real skin resin from the 1:1 boards. But oh well. I've had longer waits for other companies. So this is still nice. I still worry about the Adrianas still out though!

 

Yup, they do definitely seem to have a delay with those. That's too bad

Yep, that's what got the most recent reply. They have been pretty good at responding, just not so good at delivering. It's ok. I've waited till now, they'll send her eventually.

Another weeks delay. This time Withdoll mailed me before I could mail them which was good.
There's now been a holdup getting the shoes from China. They apologised again and are sending a free wig. They'll split my order, sending the doll on Monday (fingers crossed) and the shoes separately when they get them.

 

I'm glad they're helping you out.

 

I've just been waiting patiently figuring they'll get to me when they get to me (and not expecting to see anything until at least after Buzzibee), but it's really starting to seem like you don't get any consideration unless you contact them. Very disappointing.

 

@thegashlycrumb I was wondering at that. I notice there's still outstanding July and June WSD size orders. I was hoping that fellow Adriana orders would be making progress as well.

It does seem like the SD orders are maybe more work to complete? But it could also be that others on the waiting list haven't checked in to DOA in a while. It's good to hear from you Gashly.

Dang, that sucks. I'm thinking they're going to end up shipping out both of ours at the same time. Hopefully they stick to the date the date they gave me and ship out our girls on Monday. It's really starting to feel like an eternity since we ordered them. Two holidays have passed (Thanksgiving and Christmas), and they're still not home!

 

I'm one of the outstanding Cecily orders, bit I asked them to ship her and Adriana.

 

My Rosa has shipped!

I'm going to be out of town from January 5th-7th, so I'm really hoping she gets here before then. I don't want to have to go through the mess of heading to the post office and picking her up.

 

I did ask for a status update on the Q&A board last week and was told about the shoe delay for Adriana. They replied that maybe the shoes would arrive this week and they would ship her out as soon as possible. I guess after all the missed shipping dates lately, they're being more cautious about predicting a date.

 

My Adriana has been released from customs! I'm not fussed that my shoes will be delivered later. Keep on them those who are overdue.

 

@Buzzibee OOOHHHH!! I'm excited to see what you will do with your girl.

She's finally shipping! I got the notice email at 1am. I happened to be up due to neighbor issues, but they good news snapped me out of the funk.
Now to go to the postal office and tell them to hold the package. Delivering it to my house right now is not really the most sane thing at the moment. (I have terrible, terrible neighbors next to me. The other two apartments are great, wickedly awesome, but the ones attached to me? No way.)
Edit: Withdoll gave me a false tracking number. I think I was able to correct it myself, but I also have posted to the Q&A about it.
