Yeah, I'm still waiting on a February order through Divas for elf Egon I'm sure he'll get here eventually.

 

If it's with BJDiva, I suggest checking in. They still seem to have a bit of chaos going on there. My order was tucked away and briefly forgotten until I gave them a friendly poke, they checked their records and sent pirates out to search for my treasure then they sent it fight away. If you're not aware, they had a fire in their building, had to move all their stuff out to a new shop, didn't get anything really organized at the new place before they had to move back again. I don't think they have many employees at the moment. So don't be shy, and give them a call!

 

BJD Divas posted on Facebook about the shipping backup off the west coast, I have a doll coming from Alice’s that has not been scanned since August 23rd that is probably stuck in that mess.

 

Yeah, I've kept up with BJDivas on Facebook so I know about the fire and all. Iirc, I messaged them to set up Egon's layaway after the fire move. He wouldn't have arrived to the old space anyway. But I might give them a gentle poke later just to see. This is about how long it took for my last order with them to come in so he might be close.

I went ahead and asked BJDivas about it, and it turns out he did just recently arrive It's the weekend now so I doubt I'll hear anything about shipping for a few days, but, yay! Soon!

Paid the shipping invoice this morning! it took them extra time to invoice me because apparently my email confirming that it was OK to send both of my ready dolls separately got caught by some filter and sorted to the wrong place. But, now I just wait for that sweet sweet tracking number!

I’m back waiting on my second bwd, I ordered Jet this time in real skin.

 

Just got my shipping invoice from divas! Looks like he'll ship at just shy of the 6 month mark. Super excited!!!

 

My Egon made it home yesterday! He is perfect But gosh, his "birthday" on the CoA says April... he was stuck in shipping for six months! D:

 

Jet is on the way! I ordered October 27th and it was shipped December 22nd, less than two months!

Jet arrived today, it only took 5 days even with Christmas in between! The real skin is darker than I thought it would be but I love it. I didn’t have time for pictures today though, hopefully I will tomorrow but I’m busy with kids on Christmas break from school

 

Are the production times of only ~10weeks stated on withdoll homepage correct? Sounds too good to be true

Also does anyone know how much shipping to Europe (EU) is at the moment?
My last 1/4 dolls from Korea (other maker) did cost 85usd to ship.
I am eying an 1/4 and a 1/3

I've found the dolls I ordered in the past were consistently finished and shipped within 3 months, WD is one of the quicker companies I've also found the shipping cost reasonable (in comparison) and in line with other Korean BJD companies. The shipping cost has gone up due to the pandemic, it was $38 when they shipped me an MSD in 2020 to the UK, now it's $52, which is still quite low considering it's getting common for it to be in the $75-$85 range now.
You can usually check the shipping cost by putting the doll in the basket and then doing the first step of the checkout. You can select your country (if listed) and see what the shipping is like without committing to buy

 

Has anyone placed an order recently who may be experiencing longer than usual delays? I ordered 2 dolls through BJDivas. It has been 20 weeks now and have not received them.

 

Dealer wait times can be notoriously longer than wait times through the companies, as often dolls are actually shipped once a certain order quota is met, especially due to the pandemic and the resulting shipping delays worldwide.

 

It took me about 8 months to receive two Withdoll girls through BJDivas. It's always quicker to order through the company direct than an agent/dealer. But, you should reach out to them if you're concerned.

 

Thank you for the replies. I have heard only good things about BJDivas and Withdoll and do plan on using them both in the future.
For now I'll just patiently wait.

 

Just put in an order for a Withdoll Olivia in brown tan (19th June 2022). I was waiting for her to become available in a darker resin tone.

 

Placed an order for a light gray Rudy with the wolf costume back in May 12. I’d been waiting for so long for Withdoll to re-release their little wolves/werewolves again. It’s been two and a half months so I’m Hoping to receive a shipping notice any week now~

 

I can go pick up my Olivia today . So my order took about two months.

Now I can't wait to be done with work so I can welcome Olivia.

 

So my husband let me pick a doll for my birthday/Christmas (I doubt it will arrive for my birthday but Christmas may be a possibility?) and I chose JWD Jiho (Scowling) in Real Skin! I'm so excited for him to get here, he's going to by my moody/misunderstood writer who's not as much of a jerk as he seems, lol. I'm so excited to start planning for him and am looking forward to having another boy join my group. I ordered right from Withdoll rather than going through a dealer after reading through this thread. This is my first time getting a doll that isn't 'in stock' so I'm very curious to see how company communication is and wait times and such!

 

If you would like the regular Jiho head too, I'd suggest asking Withdoll on their Q&A They would probably let you buy that head in addition to your full doll! It's been awhile since I've ordered a Withdoll, but my Theo shipped out after about 3 months... October 1st will be his one year anniversary with me! I am hoping to get a Aiden and Emma sometime, too... I will probably order them in 2023.

Did you get your Theo with the company face-up? I ordered one for Jiho but am very curious to see how it differs from the photographs.

 

I ordered one of the new bwd Remi, the gray baby raccoon on august 31st and I got a shipping notification today so less than one month production. Now to hope for quick and uneventful arrival!

 

I bought a 1/4 girl body to hybrid with a Little Monica head I ordered during their closing sale. Well, the body is already done, it's been less than a month! It'll feel weird to have a body just lying around headless but when the LM order arrives I'll be totally ready.

 

I shamelessly ordered Olivia. She’s so precious. I absolutely adored her faceup and those premium eyes—I’ll post her when she gets to me. I ordered direct, so hopefully I can get her quickly

Does little Monica normal skin match one of the withdoll skins? Would love know what skin colors you ordered and if it fits

 

Just went and checked the order status and it’s been changed to “on shipping”! I thought the wait would be much longer, we ordered in mid September. Super excited for my Jiho to come home.

 

@Pyoko I'm hybriding with white skin unfortunately. Epicari has posted lots of white skin comparisons under photo comparisons, so I'm pretty sure light rose white and LM white is a decent match. No idea about normal skin though.

 

@Pyoko LM's normal just a tad pinker than Withdoll's (which more toward yellow hue), but I think they're great together. I have mine on withdolls'd body

I got olivia a few days ago and I ordered her on sep 14 . I was pleasantly surprised the wait wasnt too long compared to what ive heard. Shes so pretty im so smitten with the lips.

 

I just bought the JWD Eve head with faceup (normal skin) from the current event! I held off on buying the body because I was thinking of doing a hybrid, maybe on a luts model delf body, but I can always just buy the JWD body later if that doesn't work out. I'm quite excited as this is my first resin bjd purchase!

I recieved my Withdoll girl body today.
It's pretty weird to have it like that. I did handle it to try the dress I've prepared for the doll and I've gotta say, the stringing is something strange.

The 42cm girl body has some interesting extra joints where the legs meets the torso. And the string only strings the legs through these and the lower torso rather that going all the way up to the neck.
This can't be changed easily either because there are no holes for the string to go through (think fairyline bodies execpt you can't unhook this one).
As a cosequence the legs feel loosely strung at the waist regardless of how tightly you string her. I'm sure of it because I immediately restrung her legs with shorter elastic band.
It's only the contact point at the waist that feels loose and the body poses well despite it, so it's not a design flaw or anything, just feels very strange.
I don't know that I would trust that body to stand for longer periods because it seems likely that she'll sponaneously fold in half.

The knot in the elastic is also problematic because there's not a lot of room for it to go. If it slips even a little bit it gets jammed into a channel and messes up the tension of the string.

Maybe it's possible to mod the body so it can be strung all the way through by drilling extra channels through the unusual extra pieces at the leg holes but I'll have to get more familiar with the body first. Maybe it's more reliable than it feels right now.

 

Just order the KWD Cat Wtich Nia. My first 1/6 scale doll and my first grey skinned doll! I debated for such a long time on which body I should get for her and finally decided to just go for the 27 cm body. I initially wanted to go for the slightly taller 30cm body but decided that I want a cuter stubbier look. I'm returning to the hobby after a couple of years of hiatus and I'm so excited!

Interestingly the last doll I had my eyes on before life got a little too busy for me was her lol. What a coincidence!

 

Ordered JWD Aiden little over a week ago directly, he'll be my first doll and I can't wait till I get him. I love the shape of his eyes and he'll look so nice with the vibrant blue eyes I ordered for him. I'm trying to keep myself busy making clothes for him while I wait, but it's so hard. Hopefully I'll get him in January.

WD is slightly yellower while LM slightly pinkish. While not 100% match, with faceup and wig I personally happy with the colour match.

I just checked and it looks like my JWD Eve head shipped, I'm so excited! I still haven't gotten her a body yet, but I've been currently eyeing the Model Delf girl body in NS. Does anyone happen to know how the Luts NS compares with withdoll NS?
One thing that I found a bit odd with ordering from withdoll is that I have not received a single email throughout the whole process, I've had to keep track of things by checking my order status on the website, is this normal?

 

Not receiving any communication (including confirmation of my order, or a shipping notification) was my experience as well! I was really surprised. I also feel like my "on shipping" came just a day or two before my doll actually arrived so I don't know if they were delayed in updating the status or if it just got here super fast, lol.

 

Okay that's good to know it wasn't just me, I was a bit nervous at first lol. Oh nice, I hope that means it'll be arriving soon

 

My JWD Aiden's status just got update to shipped! I'm so surprised he shipped this week, I wasn't expecting anything until at least January, it's hasn't been more than 4 weeks.
I also never received any update emails; though I ended up checking my order nearly everyday because I was anxious about my doll.

On another note; is anyone thinking about getting any of the dolls from the Winter Event? I can't decide between Ash and Egon; I love Ash's hunter outfit but I like Egon's face a bit more.

 

I'm really debating getting the new JWD girl Kiara, there's something about her face that I absolutely love! There's also the Ian scowling face version that I've had my eye on for a while but I'm not sure if I would give a boy doll enough attention

In other news, my Eve head arrived! The post office didn't try to deliver her which made me a bit anxious at first, but it all worked out! She doesn't have her eyes or wig or body yet but she's gorgeous, I hope to post pictures of her soon

Things have been hectic the last couple of weeks, but I did get my Aiden last Friday. I was waiting to be able to finish his face-up and get his eyes and hair; but they still haven't arrived. Hopefully they get here this coming week so I can post pictures of him.

ordered on november 8th did 2 installments. I paid the last installment december 12th. From the day my order was confirm it's about 6 weeks for a grey skinned doll + faceup + blushed ear parts. I'm shocked by how quick they are (and a little worried tbh... because they are soo fast )

 

Wow, that is SO fast! I paid off my 2-installment order 3 days ago. My order was blank so now I wonder how fast it might be shipped.

 

My Theo is now "on shipping"! That's SO fast and I'm so excited to see him!

 

So yeah - that was ridiculously fast. Ordered December 21. Didn't receive a shipping notice. My JWD Olivia with face-up, extra hands and feet is already here!
The body is gorgeous. This is my first Withdoll, and wow. I'm impressed.

 

My elf Ruby is also on the way! I might excitesplode. Is that a thing? It feels like it's a thing.

Only twelve days from order to shipment, to add to the string of fast processing times! She's coming blank, so no extra time needed for her faceup, but still. Wow! Hopefully her journey here will be as surprisingly quick!

 

My Theo arrived last night and I opened him this evening. His tracking never changed after he left Korea and BAM, here he was! His resin is so toothy and lovely and wonderful! I adore him!!
