I just ordered a Xiao Bei from Alice's collection.
I never really looked at Telesthesia & Dragon. But I was looking for a 60-65cm boy in tan with a blend of mature and soft features. And I had kind of given up, but then I saw the Xiao Bei and felt like he was just what I had been looking for.
I wish I could have found some pictures of their dark tan skin, but I just decided to take a gamble and order it.

I hope the color is what you have been looking for. I am trying to decide if I want the tan but I'm still hesitant.

 

I have no idea how long it will take him to get here. But I'm definitely going to try to do some color comparison pictures when he does. I had a hard time finding any at all.

 

Xiao Bei is here!!! He’s so beautiful ! I’m so bad at taking photos but he really is lovely. I can’t wait to make him clothes and learn to take better photos of him. He’s so much heavier than I expected too.

Guess I'm a part of the club now. I saw an announcement of Du Xiaoju release and instantly fell in love. I've been arguing with myself for two days but every time I checked the promo photos the "BUY HIM" part became stronger. Finally I ordered him. xD Hopefully the production won't take too long...

 

Such a great choice!!! He is such a beautiful doll, I almost purchased him as well! I have two heads (they’ll share one Telesthesia body for now) in production now so I’m in the same boat! (asleep Ye Youxin and Hai Gu)

 

I ordered a Mercenary - Luo back in January, before I joined DoA; he was an insomnia-fueled breaking of my "no purchases between 10pm and 8am" rule, and all I could think in the morning was that sleep-drunk me has really good taste.

So glad I found this thread! It's really nice to have a rough idea of how long it will be based on other orders.

 

I just received my dark tan 60cm Xiao Bei today. I ordered from Alice's collections on December 22, so it was basically exactly 4 months wait time. No faceup.

They had no pics of the tan so I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to get, but im super pleased with it!

And he's so smooth! Not a seam line in sight.

I'd definitely buy more from this company. So happy.

 

Oooooo, could you post a few pics in /threads/telesthesia-dark-tan-resin.862147/? I've been debating getting that specific sculpt in dark tan, but haven't been able to find pics either. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see photos!

 

I don't have any good ones of him yet. He doesn't have eyes or clothes a face or anything.
But I can do that.

I'm so bad at posting photos. I put one there for now. As soon as I get a chance I'll take some better ones.

 

Got a photo from Dolk overnight with an email asking me to confirm that the photo was of my order! Since his face is all wrapped up and I can't tell much of anything he comes with around all the packaging, I think my confirmation was acceptably conditional on the pieces I couldn't determine being included. Also, I'm apparently getting two pairs of eyes with him if the picture was correct. Is this normal for TD?

 

I've reached the point that usually happens when I'm shipped to with EMS where I have to wait like a week and a half to two weeks for the tracking to update as the package makes its way to the US. It makes me so nervous!

 

He's here! I'll post his opening in the arrivals gallery later. Now I just have to make it through the rest of my work shift with the knowledge that a beautiful boy is waiting for me to open his box.

 

I really want to get a Mi Xiu on the 72cm v2 body, how long would people say the wait time is if I get him blank?

 

I just emailed AC to ask if they had a shipping estimate for me for my Xunyichao in dark tan, which I ordered on May 20th. They checked with TD Doll, and I got another 1-2 months of waiting, but it's okay. I expected 4 months roughly anyway, I just got impatient and curious as another local collector received their normal skin large body from them in 1.5 months after ordering in June.

So yeah, tan and dark tan takes a while, but pale skinned parts are relatively fast currently!

I ordered a Du Xiaoju in April via AC and asked them what average production time is atm. The answer was "3-5 months". So looks like your order should be ready soon.

Mine has face up and jointed hands included so I guess I'll have to wail some time longer.

 

Mine in normal pink with a full set and jointed hands took just about exactly six months from order to in-hand, and that was with a pretty big delay on the dealer end. (That's what they get for sending me a picture of everything in a pile and asking if anything's missing, while also having his face wrapped so I can't confirm they have the right sculpt. Of course I'm going to tell them everything I can't tell if it's in the pile. Spread it out if you want me to be able to confirm. )

 

Well, I posted about waiting longer two days ago aaand I got a notification "your order has been shipped" this morning. YAAAYY.

So production took 4 months. Now we try to win the post lottery and have everything delivered quickly!

 

Can you take pictures of him out the box once you get him? ( if you didn't get him already... I'm a little late to reply ) I ordered the same one at the end of May and I'm waiting for him to arrive...

 

Yeah, sure! The post promises to deliver the parcel tomorrow (I don't want to believe it but I hope it does not lie this time).

Hi everyone! I ordered a Yanwei at the end of the June and my order is ready today! I ordered with a face up and I heard you don't get what's on the promo pics, so I will get a surprise face up. I will see once I get him.

I got my Yanwei a few days ago and the face up is...really nice. Actually better than the company photos. Yes it's still much redder than in the promo pics, but overall I really like him. The body is a fantastic poser and stands like champ.

I finally got a shipping notice for my dark tan Xunyichao from AC, so I’m stoked to be finally receiving her. I got her some eyes ordered, and clothing is coming with her. The wig I already received months ago, I’m really looking forward to bringing my character Carina into doll form!

 

I picked up my 69cm girl body from the post office today. It arrived on the 14th but I was on holidays.

I just love this body it poses so well and is perfectly strung. The resin matches my Dika doll head almost perfectly.

He’s gonna be a Du Xiaoju in the normal pink resin on the 72cm doll body, and I am super excited to have him otw~ Counting down the days when I am going to receive him, and off to the faceup artist he goes

Got the notice that my Xiaoju has been shipped today! I ordered him on Mar 14 this year and it was surprisingly only a month wait for him to be shipped as I expected to be waiting longer. I’m super excited for him and can’t wait for him to arrive, and I hope to get some photos before he’ll be shipped off to the faceup artist

I ordered Qin Qin Yan on the 75 muscle body today. Big guys are kind of out of my comfort zone for dolls but he really suits one of my characters. After seeing @IzabethS tan girl I was sold , because that's the color I really wanted him I really hope the dark tan still looks like that! I got him mostly fullset because I have no idea what clothes will fit him lol

 

Happened to notice Telesthesia's old TaoBao shop is no longer active (along with their website), but their shop is now located here.

The new/second version bodies are on here, so I inquired with Christina at Clover Singing if she might list them (and we can track sale/event periods). I'm definitely interested in the ver. ii 68cm, and might be interested in the ver. ii 72cm for a different doll.

 

I just ordered Ye Youxin on the 74 cm boy body and I've added the wig as well,he's going to be my Sephiroth,now I need to find a cloud

 

I started a layaway on dolk in February for mercenary Lou basic with everything but a face up. Since I’ve finished paying in may, I foresee a long wait before he turns up. I know it may have been quicker and maybe cheaper to just have went with the full set but I would have felt bad rubbing off someone’s else’s hard work without a second thought.

 

I ordered the 51cm version of xun jian (msd version of their 75cm body, head comes with mouth parts but not ears I believe). I want to make him a vampire so I probably wouldn’t use the ears anyways.

I also got jointed hands and a company faceup. The company face up on my Mu YunJun was really nice so I’m hopeful.

 

I just ordered the Telesthesia doll Mu Yunjun in dark tan with the 72 cm body. This is my first doll and I’m so excited! I think I’ve been interested in getting a doll for over 10 years now so I’m glad I finally purchased one.

 

It will be 7 months waiting for Qin Yan next week I expected 6 month but who knows how long. I also ordered a dragon msd on October so I'll probably be waiting far into next year haha

 

Qin Yan arrived after 8 months of waiting and he's the wrong resin color. Which is ironic because the color I wanted was only added to the options on the site by my request .

Obviously this is on the dealer and not on T&D but I'm very disappointed.

Currently arguing with Legenddoll because I want to return him for a refund.

They offered me first an $80 site coupon, then said they would give me a 50% refund on this guy if I ordered *another* doll so they could get the right color.

 

OMG that is SO not OK! How is that legal when they sent you the wrong item?

Very happy, I used B-Day money to help get Dragon Piao Chiyue! I ordered him through Alice Collections. I am glad I was able to get him on sale. I've been wanting this boy! I have his character and story already planned. He's so pretty.

Not sure, I think the Dragon dolls might be older sculptures? I'm just wondering because there are fewer of them.

Just ordered my first ever BJD from legenddoll a couple days ago, he's 1/4 size telesthesia Du Xiaoju on their (scaled down from 68cm) body^_^ I'm very excited, I know it'll be a while before he arrives (especially since I also got him jointed hands that take a bit longer than the body to make) but I've wanted a BJD for over ten years and now I finally ordered him! Hoping all our orders arrive quickly and safely
