Hybrids SWITCH (formerly So-Nyeon-Gi/4D) resin matches and body proportions

I used to have a Huisa (IMO a younger looking Switch sculpt) on a Volks SDgr body. It was an excellent resin and proportion match It was an older head, so may not match Volks as well anymore? Sorry I'm not sure as I haven't had any experience with the newer Switch resin.

 

my hyul.sh ( from Vier4D) is using Volks SD Boy body. i used to have a Seolrok, he's on a Volks SDGr boy body, resin matches, but hes better on a 65cm body XD

it's a really good match (99,8%)!! Both heads were kept away in boxes. So I think the new Switch heads will also fit nicely

 

Can someone PLEASE suggest what bodies match Switch white skin?

Everyone seems to have Normal skin and it's so frustrating I'm over here like -sits with a white skin head sulking-

@Viivi The Aprilstory last order event has been extended until April 30th! I have a 2016 body and after hot glue sueding it and a restring, I love it, so I think I'll be getting another one for my incoming Seolrok head

Oh that's cool! What was the stringing like when you first got the body? I've heard that April Story string their dolls weird?

 

I heard that Firo here on DOA has a white skin switch head on a dollstown pale skin body and the match looks pretty good.

 

Does anyone know how the Ringdoll RTbody-3 body looks with bigger Switch head?

I have a Switch Ryun R and Switch Haji R.
My Ryun is on a Soom mega gem body (The older one) and my Haji R is on a Fdoll body (normal skin). The match is on both dolls really good!!

I bought New 66cm Boy Body (Normal Skin-Pink) for my Soseo vampire. The neck is ok, but the resin color not match

 

Are the Switch heads all the same size as far as the neck goes? Will they all fit a 10.5cm neck?

If it's Miro Doll, I heard it's the "Normal Skin-Classic" that matches well.
I'm about to receive that body in Classic color this week or next week, but my Switch head is still in transit limbo so I can't compare until it also arrives.

I’ve been looking for a taller body for my Hahwa as well.

 

Here's the best I can do for comparison right now, until I move in two weeks, I hope it helps even a little. He arrived so late there's no proper light, only my lamp/cellphone.

Miro Doll Normal Skin Classic + Switch Normal Skin: Miro Doll Normal Classic + Switch NS

I think NS Yellow would be way too yellow?? o: but I have no NS Yellow to compare. Switch is a little peachier and very little darker than Miro but nothing a bit of body blush couldn't take care of I think. Still I'll save for a HD65 body later because man Switch resin feels amazing, it's beautiful.

 

Yup, Classic is best. I have the 66 body for my Luts boy but tried my '13 Seolrok head and the match is great. I have my Switch on a '16 Aprilstory Body.

I saw some replies about NS Dollzone bodies but does anyone know if a rosy white Switch head would match ok with a Dollzone WS 62cm boy body resin wise and proportion wise? The neck on the Dollzone is a bit slimmer hmm....

Rosy white info seems to be in bizarrely short supply, so...

I'm waiting on a Dojin starting this week and I can check the resin match against my doll chateau WS head in however many months. Since DC and DZ use the same casting company, it should be accurate though impacted by my DC boy having about a year to mellow.

 

Would the heads fit a body with an 11cm neck?

Hello guys I want to hybrid a switch-head with a dollchateau body and wanted to ask if the "rosy white" with doll chateaus white skin? or if there are better resin combinations when it comes to switch and dollchateau thanks in advance

 

Can't help with the WS/rosy questions x.x But here's my Soseo from 2018 in NS on a Guu Doll 69cm body (from 2019) in their normal skintone and the match is pretty much perfect. Neck size of 10.8cm works really well.

Any of you know if Switch head Rosy White skin will match with Luts SDF white skin (2018-2019) ?

I saw a sale thread from mirandapaige, that sold Uhui head WS hybrid with Luts WS body. As I looked at the photos, the resin match quite well. However, both resin were from 2009 (Switch head WS) and 2010 (luts WS body)

Also, according to Rou, (a Korean face-up artist that I commissioned for my dolls), she mentions that "all Korean companies that are not Volks are able to match well" and the biggest different between the resin from these 2 companies is yellowing process "For Rosie White Skin, I think it's a lot different from Luts. Especially when the yellowing, the switch is a yellow tone, but Luts is green tone" Overall, she says if you are not very sensitive about the colors, their resin match quite good.
I ask her, since her portfolio working with a lot of Switch and Luts white skin (heads)

For me, I am still debating between Luts and Switch, since I am looking for the resin match for Rosetta, not for Switch actually.

If you are sure to get the luts SDF65 RS white for your Switch head, please post the photos I tried to gather these info for 2 days but there is no exact answer that I can find

Also, please visit this thread and look for the replies from hellosanta , she replied with her photo references of Switch NS head on Luts NS body, and included her thought about Switch Rosy white skin vs Luts RS white in the most recent year:

"I can't readily provide the reference since what I've found is someone else's photo, but as far as I know Switch rosy white and Luts white skin are good match. Switch rosy white would have little more pink in it though."

I have a Switch Shiho rose white head on a WS Luts Junior Delf boy body. The head is a tad pink (obviously), but the match is good and the pinkness can be muted with a faceup. I will try to post some pics when I can.

@iguen, my Rosettadoll Agave (2020 release) is on the Switch girl body and matches perfectly! Not the best photo, but here’s a link.
It looks a tad more yellow, but that’s the lighting. In person, they look made for one another. I’ll try to get a better photo for you tomorrow!

I tried to put Rosetta Cheonso head on Luts body, the proportion looked perfect. Unfortunately, the Rosetta head was White, any the Luts body is normal skin, so I could not find any information for resin match between Luts white vs Rosetta White, so I finally decided to get Switch boy body Rosy white for Rosetta Cheonso

Oof, I don't know how I missed that we were discussing WS. My girl is in NS, but I think Rosetta intended to hybrid with Switch bodies? They're usually what the heads are displayed on. Here are my photos for reference!

I'm bumping this thread to see if anyone has resin comparisons between Switch Old White, and New Rosy White with Akagidoll White or Popodoll white. Also, if anyone has pictures of either Waseon, Huisa (not direction), or Milhwa on an Akagidoll doll 66cm body, or Popodoll 68cm body.

Does anyone have any knowledge of (or photos) of resin matching and proportions for Choyo (PB 2020) with a SDGr/SD13 body (NS?)
And whether there's any other alternatives of similar proportions around that 60-65cm boy range which do match resin...
Considering the luts boy body as well but not sure whether the resin matches well :/

If anyone has photos of Choyo/Taerin/Shiho on a HD65 or SD17, that'd be great too! Just worried their youthful faces look a bit weird on a slightly older body.

 

@OneiricBlue The Switch normal that I have doesn't match my Volks normal dolls or my Luts normal dolls. All of my dolls are a few years old now though so some mellowing may have occurred. I'll try to take pictures later today though.
